Infinite wealth In A New World - Chapter 332
Chapter 332: The Energy Gap
BOOOOOOM!
”We need to get out of here!!!” the Fifth Elder screamed, flying at top speed through the air. The others, even the unflappable Nicolette, followed, their faces etched with horror.
”Shit!! Who would have thought these two could destroy the whole desert! I didn’t even know that was possible!” Nicolette yelled, looking over her shoulder. The desert below them was no longer sand; it was miles of burnt, blackened earth, like dried-up lava. Not a single grain of sand could be seen—only total annihilation, at the center of which stood Sunny and Perran.
”We are lucky the Human Kingdom is hundreds of miles away… Unless,” she shivered at the unspoken thought of the destruction reaching their capital.
”I can’t believe this!! Perran is now using the strength of an Eighth Order powerhouse, but he is being countered by the opponent in everything!” the Second Elder yelled in disbelief.
”Of course!! How can you fight an opponent who can copy and use your skills with full potential!” the Third Elder added, trying to rationalize the impossibility.
The Elders, realizing they were out of their league, did not slow down.
”Just keep going,” Nicolette commanded. “Once we create considerable distance, we will create a spatial barrier. I don’t care what happens to the other kingdoms, but the Human Kingdom must stand.”
She calculated their distance. ‘If Perran uses his Ninth Order strength, or that energy, the battle will be over instantly. As long we create distance, not more than 20 miles, we can still film and show everything that’s happening here. But if we die, no one will know what happened.’

At the epicenter of the carnage, Sunny and Perran stood. Perran stared at Sunny with a slight frown, not a hint of exhaustion on his perfect face. Sunny, by contrast, was fighting against the extreme energy drain; surviving an Eighth Order for this long with Sixth Order strength was a miracle entirely owed to his system and the unlimited pool of one-time use copied skills.
”Does God Wolf really have such strong subordinates?” Perran asked, a hint of genuine worry entering his voice. If a mere subordinate was this strong, how terrifying was the actual God Wolf?
”You will never know,” Sunny replied, forcing himself to stand tall. His All-Changer Armor and internal Healing Abilities quickly patched his surface wounds, but the exhaustion was spiritual.
”I am impressed. Even with my Eighth Order strength, I still couldn’t kill you easily… Well, not that I wanted to from the start,” Perran said, a condescending smile returning.
”Huh? So all this while?” Sunny asked, realizing he had been toyed with.
”Hahahaha!! You actually think you can fight me from the start?” Perran laughed. “Yes, you can copy all my skills, but that alone can’t remove the gap between us. Look at you. You don’t have any bit of Primordial energy in you, and you expect to defeat someone who has both Spirit and Primordial energies. Such a big dream.”
’What is Primordial energy?’ Sunny quickly queried the system.
{Master… Primordial energy is like just celestial and spirit energies. But it’s more powerful than both. You can only unlock Primordial energy if you break through to the seventh order with a Primordial stone.}
{Note: You can strengthen your Primordial energy by the amount of Primordial stones you have absorbed.}
‘You should have at least given me this valuable information! So from the start, this kid has been playing with me?!’ Sunny thought, his frustration turning into cold determination.
”Okay, tell me… If you can, why haven’t you killed me from the start?” he asked, his frown deepening.
”Of course, that’s to give God Wolf time to find us,” Perran answered, moving his gaze around the ravaged landscape. “Killing you without him stopping me will be both stupid and frustrating. Because I don’t plan to travel to the Lower World to search. But if he still refuses to show up, I will have to go.”
’If this bastard enters the Lower World, he will destroy it… That mustn’t happen,’ Sunny realized, the true stakes of the fight—and the competition—clarifying.
”Why don’t you show me what you’re truly made of? I want to see the full extent of the Child of Destruction,” Sunny provoked, getting ready to activate his next set of copied skills.
”Oh? You asked for it… Maybe, if I injure you badly, God Wolf will finally show himself.”
Perran raised one finger, and a long, lethal spear made from pure, condensed Primordial energy appeared in front of him. It spun violently, its tip pointed directly at Sunny’s chest.
’System!’
{Warning Master. You can copy the skill and use it, but it’ll be far weaker than his.}
‘Just do it!!’ Sunny snapped at the system.
Mimicking Perran’s action, he created his own spear with spirit energy, spinning with the same deadly speed.
”So childish,” Perran scoffed, sending his spear rocketing toward Sunny. In perfect unison, Sunny sent his replica spear forward.
BOOOM!!
To everyone’s shock—especially the distant, watching Elders—Perran’s spear instantly, effortlessly shattered Sunny’s spirit energy weapon. The Primordial spear continued its trajectory, undeterred.
”This!!”
Sunny quickly activated his strongest defense skill: “Absolute Defense.” But to his horror, the Primordial spear shattered the shield into light fragments like thin glass and collided with his chest, throwing him miles away.
BOOOOOOM!!!!
He smashed heavily into the blackened earth, his helmet flying aside from the impact. He continued rolling until he came to a stop, coughing up a mouthful of blood.
{Master’s health is critically low.}
{Healing abilities automatically activated.}
Sunny lay on the ground, staring at the empty sky.
’Is this the strength of an Eighth Order infused with Primordial energy? I can’t even defend against one of his casual attacks… How the hell can I even think of fighting Lilith, or anyone in the higher worlds without the stones.’ He thought, forcing himself back to his feet.
‘No matter what. I must get the Primordial stones. My family is counting on me.’ He clenched his fists, the necessity overriding the fear.
Sunny spat blood onto the scorched earth, fixing Perran with a challenging gaze. “You… Do you think that attack can take me down?”
