Chapter 323: Master Plan
[Upper World.]

[At the Entrance of the Soul Secret Realm.]

WHOOSH!!

The air around the Soul Secret Realm’s gate shrieked as a massive, swirling red gateway—a portal of high-level dimension magic—suddenly ripped open. Precious, Elara, Ethan, and Thomas, along with the seventy-strong mercenary group guarding the entrance, instantly spun around, their eyes fixed on the phenomenon.

”Stay alert,” Elara commanded, drawing her God-rank sword. Her resolve was absolute: Sunny had given them a simple mission—guard the gate—and she would execute it, even against a vastly superior foe. Their only advantage was the sheer power of their divine-grade equipment, which offered a sliver of hope against higher-order enemies.

A slender, high-heeled foot stepped out of the swirling vortex, followed by a stunningly beautiful woman. Her long, flowing red hair cascaded down her back, and her deep red eyes fixed piercingly on the crowd. She held a magnificent, humming God-rank staff.

”…..?!”

Elara and the mercenary group were stunned speechless. The woman was radiating a palpable, dense energy—the unmistakable aura of the Fifth Order. They were Fourth Order powerhouses, below, but she was a level beyond, a being who could wipe out their entire force without effort.

Morgana surveyed the mass of armed people before her, her expression cool and pragmatic. She raised an eyebrow, not seeing the two figures she sought.

”Where is Sunny and Josephine?” she asked, her voice carrying the unmistakable weight of command.

She was met with confused, blank stares. Thinking she might have used names unfamiliar to the upper realm, she adjusted her question:

”I mean, God Wolf. Where is he?”

Still silence. The mercenaries stared at her as if she were a delusional fool.

Morgana, unbothered by their judgment, turned her attention to the sealed gateway of the Secret Realm.

’Right. Those two are in that gateway. I know my spell. I won’t mistake the location—it has never happened, and it won’t start today.’ She thought, confirming the location with her inner magic.

She spoke aloud: “They must be inside.”

Before she could take a step toward the gate, the seventy mercenaries drew their blades, their killing intent spiking instantly.

”Calm down,” Morgana said, raising her hands slightly, though her expression remained aloof. “I am not an enemy, just an old friend.” She glanced at their weapons. She could vaporize them all with a twitch of her staff, but the palpable intensity of their loyalty—their absolute readiness to protect the gate for their leader—impressed her. She decided against bloodshed.

”Fine. I will wait here with you all,” she stated, planting her staff on the ground.

Elara slowly lowered her weapon, maintaining a hawk-like vigilance. Morgana, after declaring her truce, completely ignored them, moving her assessing gaze over the surrounding landscape, observing the world.

”Do you think she has a brain problem?” Precious whispered to Elara, her eyes not leaving Morgana’s elegant form.

”Just keep your guard up,” Elara hissed back. “If she tries a sneak attack, we will fight back.” She nodded to Ethan, signaling him to keep their formation tight.

”I can hear your voices even from this distance,” Morgana interjected, turning to face the four leaders, a hint of amusement in her red eyes. “Besides, if I wanted you all dead, I wouldn’t bother with a sneak attack. Those are for cowards.”

Her gaze softened slightly, resting on Elara. “Killing you would only anger Josephine, and I don’t want her to get upset.” Her statement, implying fear of a Second Order, Josephine, over a Fourth Order, Sunny, stunned the group.

’These fools,’ Morgana thought, pity mixing with her impatience. ‘They don’t understand the cosmic stakes. If Josephine loses emotional control now, the chaotic energies holding the Three Heavens will also become violent, releasing waves of energy strong enough to kill a Fifth Order being. My priority is to prevent emotional disturbance. No negative input, no dark emotions.’

At that exact moment, the Secret Realm’s gates vibrated violently, shaking the very earth, and slowly began to open wide.

Everyone watched in disbelief. Sunny emerged first, no longer merely a Fourth Order powerhouse, but radiating the chilling authority of the Sixth Order. He was followed by Josephine, whose aura had also strengthened, cementing her as a formidable Third Order.

”He jumped two whole ranks?!”

Disbelief, shock, and horror contorted the faces of every mercenary. They had never witnessed such explosive, impossible cultivation speed. It wasn’t just advancement; it was a fundamental widening of their entire understanding of reality.

”Boss—”

”—Sunny and Josephine!”

The familiar names, spoken with clear recognition, caused the couple to freeze. In the upper world, no one knew their true identities, and anyone who might would not recognize them in their current appearance. Only someone incredibly powerful or intimately connected could pierce their disguise and know their real names. Yet, they sensed no malice in the voice.

The fighters immediately made way, and Sunny and Josephine saw Morgana standing there, a triumphant smile on her face, her God-rank weapon now discreetly tucked away in her storage space.

”You?!” Sunny was dumbfounded. “What are you doing here?”

Morgana walked toward them, but to Sunny’s utter bewilderment, she stopped directly in front of Josephine, ignoring him completely, and pulled her into a warm, genuine hug.

”It’s so good to see you, My Queen,” Morgana said, separating from the embrace, her smile dazzling.

She turned to Sunny and back to Josephine. “I’m sure we haven’t properly met. My name is Morgana, and I am an ally to him.” She gestured briefly to Sunny, then returned her gaze entirely to Josephine. “How are you feeling now?”

”…?!”

Josephine was utterly confused by the question, unsure how this stranger knew her name or why she was asking about her well-being.

Before she could form a reply, Sunny reacted. He grabbed Morgana’s wrist, his grip firm, and pulled her away from the stunned group. Everyone watched in confusion, now entirely focused on the powerful drama, forgetting the Secret Realm which vanished five seconds later.

”Why are you here?!” Sunny snapped once they were out of earshot, reinforcing his privacy by creating a silent, shimmering barrier of solidified wind elemental energy around them.

”Impressive,” Morgana muttered, examining the defensive barrier with a respectful nod.

”Forget the barrier! Tell me why you’re here!”

Morgana turned to Sunny, her red eyes burning with purpose, the friendly facade dissolving into the solemnity of destiny.

”Because the Master’s Master Plan has just commenced.”

”Huh?” Sunny was stunned.
