Chapter 315: The Soul Secret Realm
[One Week Later. Thousands of Miles from Biden Town – Near the Soul Secret Realm.]
”So this is the Soul Secret Realm,” Sunny murmured, standing before the vast, ethereal white gateway that pulsed faintly with spiritual energy. In his hand, the Soul Key glowed with a soft blue luminescence, perfectly attuned to the gate.
”So what now?” Josephine asked, her gaze sweeping over the scene. Behind her, the core leadership of the newly unified Rising Star Mercenaries Guild stood ready: Elara and Precious, both now at the late-stage of the third Order, and Ethan, leader of the third mercenary guild Sunny had quickly and effectively absorbed, a man whose loyalty was bought with sheer wealth and power.
Behind the three leaders stood a formation of 50 members of the Rising Star Guild, all armed to the teeth. Every one of them was clad in a full set of high-grade God-Rank equipment, gifts from Sunny’s massive spending spree.
The Rising Star Mercenaries Guild, now numbering 100 members, has become the undisputed number one power in the Second Realm—not just for skill, but for the sheer volume of God-Rank weaponry they possess.
Sunny was also personally stronger. The relentless spending and his focus on preparing for the confrontation with Lilith’s son had pushed him to the Late-Stage of the Fourth Order. Josephine had also advanced to the Late Stage of the Second Order, her stability improving with every passing day.
”All of you, guard the entrance,” Sunny instructed, his voice firm and decisive. “No one is allowed in while we are inside.”
The 53 members behind him nodded in unison, their obedience absolute. They watched as both their Boss and Madam walked toward the Gate. Sunny held up the Soul Key; it glowed brilliantly, and the ethereal white door silently slid open.
With a shared nod, Sunny and Josephine rode their lion mounts into the swirling entrance.

[Outside the Soul Secret Realm.]
Just as the gate hissed shut behind the couple, another mercenary guild rushed onto the scene. They were led by a muscular man mounted on a huge black bear. But the moment their leader saw the menacing formation of the Rising Star members—all glowing with high-rune energy—he instantly diverted his path.
”Huh? Leader, I thought we were going after the Secret Realm?” his second-in-command asked in shock, rising on his own bear mount.
”Are you mad?” the leader hissed back.
“Those guys are members of the Rising Star, and those three on the Lions—Elara, Precious, and Ethan—are their leaders. Three powerful third Order powerhouses leading a hundred members decked out in God-Rank gear. We can’t fight them! Better we keep our distance!”
”Um… Leader, the Rising Star is the only guild that matters now,” the second-in-command argued. “In a week, they became the strongest guild; and all the smart guilds are planning on merging with them. What about we merge with them too?”
”Yes, Leader!” another mercenary pointed out. “If that happens, we all will gain God-Rank equipment! These equipments are tens of billions on the market, but all 100 members of Rising Star have it! That means someone impossibly powerful is behind them.”
Thomas stopped his black bear mount, weighing his options—risk his small guild for minimal profit, or trade his independence for unimaginable power and wealth.
”How many of you want to join the Rising Star Guild?” he asked, moving his gaze over his small but loyal 20 members.
The men and women looked at one another, then, after a brief, unified moment of thought, nodded their heads.
”Ok then, let’s go.”
Thomas tapped his mount, and the Bear moved back toward the Secret Realm entrance, his group following.
Elara, who had been observing them with keen interest, raised an eyebrow as they stopped directly in front of her formidable team.
”This gateway is sealed to outsiders,” Ethan said, his massive, Third Order muscles flexing, his spirit energy radiating a clear warning that intimidated most of the newcomers.
”Oh, we aren’t here for the Secret Realm! We wouldn’t dare get near it with the Rising Star here,” Thomas quickly stated, his voice respectful. Seeing the three leaders staring at him with suspicion, he immediately introduced himself, putting down his pride.
”My name is Thomas, the leader of the Bear Mercenary Guild. I brought my members here to see if we can join or merge with the Rising Star Guild.”
Elara looked to Precious, then to Ethan, and finally fixed her gaze on Thomas, her God-Rank armor glinting ominously under the setting sun.
”You want to join us? Then wait for the Boss,” she instructed.
”Boss?” Thomas was stunned. He subconsciously looked at the now-closed, massive white gate and swallowed hard.
‘That is why a whole fifty fully equipped fighters are present, guarding the site! They’re guarding the Secret Realm because the main Boss—the true backer of the Rising Star—is inside.’
”Ok, guys,” Thomas whispered to his members. “It seems we are going to wait.” He turned back to Elara.
“We will wait here until the Boss returns.”
___
[Inside the Soul Secret Realm – Burning City.]
Sunny and Josephine appeared inside a bizarre, destroyed city. Everything was engulfed in flames, yet none of the buildings were collapsing or turning to ash. They stood still, completely intact, while burning eternally.
“….?!!”
The two moved their gazes around in confusion.
Sunny activated the System, pulling up the map of the Secret Realm. After a few seconds, a detailed holographic map appeared between them.
”So this blue dot is our target—the Omni Soul Stone?” Josephine asked, pointing at a dot miles away from their current position.
”Yes,” Sunny nodded, looking out over the strange metropolis. “I still can’t believe this burning city is so big.” He turned to Josephine. “Are you feeling the heat from these flames?”
”No,” Josephine replied, her voice filled with confusion. “Not even a bit. It’s entirely cold fire.”
”It means this fire is not our common fire; it’s likely spiritual or soul-based energy,” Sunny theorized. He snapped his fingers, and one hundred high-grade Grand Class Mercenaries, materialized silently in front of them.
”Scout the city for any immediate threats or unusual spiritual phenomena,” he ordered. Instantly, the robot Mercenaries moved, dividing into four groups of twenty-five and disappearing into the strange, burning ruins.
”Let’s go,” Sunny said, mounting his Lion. “We follow the map and move directly to the target. No wasted time.”
