526: 2nd Spiritual Awakening, Eye of God Asura 526: 2nd Spiritual Awakening, Eye of God Asura {Two days later} A young raven-haired man who was looking worse and worse with each passing day revealed his pearly white teeth, his eyes glued to the words of text on an illusory blue screen.

BLING!

{Idle Attribute System} [Host: Cassius] [Bound-Talent: Attribute Collector] [Realm: None] [Combat Power: None] [Vigor: 0.55] [Physique: 0.63] [Spirit: 10,002 (Asura)] – [Undergo Spiritual Awakening?] [Affinity: 0.44] Without the slightest bit of hesitation, Cassius clicked yes with one of the two hands that were now free from captivity.

It didn’t take long for the largest explosion of Asura Energy thus far to explode outward, rippling through the abyss of Alcatraz like chaotic waves at sea.

Cassius felt a massive source of power surge up from within him.

His Blood Sea churned, expanding over and over again, and with a sudden spike of intensity, the Asura Energy chaotically exploded.

When the mysterious space where the Blood Sea was located finally calmed down, Cassius’s lips curved upward as he saw what replaced the previous sea of blood.

Over 400 meters by 400 meters wide and long.

Liquidated Asura Energy darker than crimson€“akin to the deepest and most horrifying of abysses.

And an… eye?

Floating above the Blood Sea like an untouchable deity was a huge eyeball.

It had a red iris as unfathomable as the endless void, a pitch black halo hovering over it, and a waterfall of blood pouring out behind it.

Even more horrifying was the shape of the eye, as its ominously demonic appearance made it look like it was ripped straight out of the head of the Devil himself.

Staring at Cassius like a god judging the worth of a mortal, this freakish eye shot out a bloody light.

The light moved so fast and with such precision that he had no time to dodge or escape; whatever the eye was, it was clearly far beyond his current capabilities to handle.

FWOOOM!

The moment the light came into contact with him, Cassius’s Mind’s Eye was forcefully ejected from the Blood Sea.

Soon after, he opened his eyes back in the Main World with cold sweat trickling down his back and a spine-chilling feeling that death had just brushed shoulders with him.

“What the hell just happened??” Without waiting for an answer from the smug Idle, Cassius tossed his consciousness back into his Blood Sea.

He re-entered without any problem, but where there was once that huge, scary eye… there was only emptiness.

“Check your forehead,” Idle giggled, sensually crossing her legs on his shoulder.

“My forehead?” Cassius wasn’t sure why he should be doing this, but he did it anyway€“and when he saw what was now embedded into the area between his brows like the centerpiece of his face, he reeled back in shock.

There, at the forefront of his forehead, was the same ominously demonic eye that appeared above his Blood Sea!

Except this one was far smaller and felt way more familiar and less dangerous than the first one.

“This…” Cassius was trying his best to wrap his head around this situation.

However, while caught up in his own contemplations, the grape-sized eye embedded in his forehead suddenly snapped open.

OOOM!

The pressure it passively emanated was enough to warp the darkness in the vicinity, creating spinning effects that distorted one’s perception of time and space.

But for Cassius, he was far more concerned with the fact that an entirely new world opened up before him: the darkness that encompassed was replaced by a redness, and within the endless red, there existed lines of gold.

The gold lines were thick in some parts and thin in other parts, with them being consistently thinner the further into the abyss one looked.

“Are these… Spiritual Lines?” Cassius uttered on instinct, somehow already aware of what the gold lines were and how they worked.

“Links between every major source of Spiritual Energy and the rest of the world-these Spiritual Lines are quite interesting,” Idle casually commented, tugging on one of the thinner gold lines with a light tug that sent it vibrating.

“From the truth that can be sensed from these lines, they most likely originate from that large guy sleeping up above.” “The Leviathan…” Cassius’s tone turned grave as he peered upward, realizing by the sheer thickness and quality of the Spiritual Lines that the Leviathan was anything but simple.

“We can learn more about that big guy later,” Idle said.

“For now, you should check the changes that were brought about from your Spiritual Awakening.

It’ll surely give you a pleasant surprise!” Cassius agreed with this sentiment and opened his system interface.

BLING!

{Idle Attribute System} [Host: Cassius] [Bound-Talent: Attribute Collector] [Awakened Talent(s): Eye of God Asura (Exodus)] [Realm: None] [Combat Power: None] [Vigor: 0.55] [Physique: 0.63] [Spirit: 42,650 (Asura)] – [2nd Awakening] [Affinity: 0.44] (Eye of God Asura: It’s said that many eons ago, before life appeared in the Origin Sea, there existed an endless sea of blood.

At the center of this bloody sea, there lived an unfathomable entity known only as-The Origin.) (The Origin was not a singular entity.

It was an incalculably large congregation of indescribable concepts coexisting within the same cosmic shell.

Of which, one of the most feared and ancient of the living concepts went by the title-The Asura God.) (The Eye of God Asura is a timeless relic of an era long past, once an organ of the incomprehensible Asura God.

The mysteries contained within it are impossible to comprehend by any one person, making mortals and Immortals alike aware of their own insignificance in the greater cosmic theme of things.) “The Eye of God Asura,” Cassius muttered, opening and closing the eye in his forehead a few times.

He had to admit that aside from its ability to observe the Spiritual Lines weaved into the fabric of reality, the appearance of the eye was quite cool.

It made him look like an ethereal Demon Immortal.

Or, at least, he would look like that if not for the current degraded state of his physical body… “Anyway, this Eye of God Asura also has another interesting Ability,” Cassius said through his bitterness.

“I believe it should work something like bloodline suppression, with an added benefit of making it easier to get lesser beings to submit and obey.” It was only unfortunate that he couldn’t test it out, ya know, given his current predicament and all that.
