523: 1st Spiritual Awakening 523: 1st Spiritual Awakening So even something as mundane as snoring could drop Attribute Orbs??

Just how powerful was this Leviathan for an action so simple to be capable of creating rainfalls of Spirit Orbs???

“For a reason I don’t know, the Leviathan is leaking Spiritual Energy, which is the general term used to describe the magical particles permeating the atmosphere,” Idle explained.

“That leakage of energy is released only when the Colossus snores, thus creating the phenomenon of Spirit Orbs raining from the sky that we’re about to see happen again in… 3… 2… 1…” Just as she finished counting down, hundreds of cyan-colored Attribute Orbs fell from above.

They ranged in value from as low as 0.01 to more than 0.5, their size and density also varying according to the value attached.

[Five minutes later] The Spirit Orb Rainfall abruptly came to a halt.

Although Cassius was disappointed by this, he already knew it was bound to happen.

Opening up his system interface while waiting for the next unloading of Spirit Orbs, he saw: {Idle Attribute System} [Host: Cassius] [Bound-Talent: Attribute Collector] [Realm: Mortal] [Combat Power: Mortal] [Vigor: 0.55] [Physique: 0.63] [Spirit: 22.56] [Affinity: 0.44] “And here I thought I had skewed stats in the Ascension Tower,” Cassius wryly chuckled, finding amusement even while bound by chains and enveloped in darkness.

“If you’re able to get your Spirit past one hundred, I can tell you right now that something surprisingly amazing will happen,” Idle casually commented from atop his shoulder.

“I told you how one point in each stat was the average for a normal grown man here, didn’t I?

Well, in this world, I feel that reaching one hundred times the average in a Stat will bring about a transformation.

Although I don’t know what form this transformation will take or how it will manifest, I know without a doubt that it’ll greatly assist in getting you out of this prison.” A hundred times the average of a normal grown man… ‘I wonder how well that would stack up compared to a regular Cultivator.’ Cassius didn’t know much about the Ancient Desolate Continent other than the fact that he was small fry and that everything here hated his kind like water hated oil-and that to have even the tiniest of chances of surviving, he needed to increase his strength.

The simplest way to do so would be by becoming a cultivator.

And from how increasing his Spirit stat made it easier to sense and interact with the Spiritual Energy in the atmosphere, he assumed this was his key to embarking on the path of an Immortal Cultivator.

After another 10 minutes fly by, Spirit Orbs once again begin raining from the skies.

And then, after absorbing all the Orbs that fell next to him within the span of 5 minutes, the rainfall came to a stop.

Cassius spent the next hour determining if there truly was a pattern to the intervals between Spirit Orb Rainfalls.

From this experiment of his, he confirmed that there really was a pattern: every 10 minutes, the Leviathan would snore from who knew how far up, then after snoring for 5 minutes, it would suddenly go quiet.

At this rate and with a typical haul of 10 to 15 points of Spirit per snoring session, it wouldn’t take very long at all for the short-term goal of 100 Spirit Points to be reached.

[Not long later] Finally, after much anticipation and waiting around, Cassius heard the system notification he so badly wanted to hear.

DING!

[Your Spirit stat has surpassed 100, unlocking your first Spiritual Awakening!] “My first what?

Wait, this is…!?” OOOM!

Idle grinned mischievously as she watched brilliant blue tendrils erupt from her Host.

He was instantaneously swallowed up by the tendrils, with his body inside experiencing changes that even she didn’t know what would end up becoming of him.

In this new adventure of theirs, she was almost just as lost as he was.

It was just that as a different kind of entity€“and a support one at that€“she didn’t need to know everything to create miraculous things for her Host.

This ‘Spiritual Awakening’€“as Idle felt fit the phenomena best€“was one of those very miracles€“and she was just as excited to see what was going to happen as he was.

BLING!

Suddenly, the blue tendril cocoon bloomed like a blossoming flower in spring.

This made the chain binding Cassius shake, though just by a little.

“So, Host o’ mine, how do you feel?” Idle asked with a slight smile, leaning her busty nude bosom against his head.

“…I feel like you should put some clothes on…” Cassius replied with a blank expression, though quickly had his indifference replaced with invigoration as he discerned the changes inside himself.

“Other than that, I feel great€“far better than I did before undergoing this Spiritual Awakening, whatever that means.” “Host, why don’t you try opening your system interface?” Idle prompted.

“I have a feeling that a pleasant surprise awaits you.” “???” Although Cassius wasn’t sure what she meant by that, he nonetheless followed her recommendation.

BLING!

{Idle Attribute System} [Host: Cassius] [Bound-Talent: Attribute Collector] [Realm: None] [Combat Power: None] [Vigor: 0.55] [Physique: 0.63] [Spirit: 312.39 (Asura)] [Affinity: 0.44] Although his other stats remained the same as what they were since he arrived in the Ancient Desolate Continent, the other changes made to his System Interface made him do a double-take more than once.

“My Spirit stat increased by over 200 points… and the Asura in front of it, is that some sort of quality my Spirit has taken on?

Or maybe there’s something more to it that I’m not able to see??” Although it was him that personally experienced the effects of these changes, that didn’t mean he had a complete grasp on what they meant or how they worked.

To him, all he could feel inside himself was a bloody mass of power€“could that be related to his Asura Spirit perhaps?
