Chapter 381: Withdrawing the money
Noah shook his head firmly. “Don’t worry, Uncle Smith. I’ll pay for it. I’m not going to willingly hand over my money to scammers if I didn’t have a solid plan, right Ethan?”

Ethan nodded his head from the back seat, showing more confidence in his cousin than his father currently felt. “Let’s trust Noah, Father. He knows what he’s doing.”

Ethan had witnessed too many surprises from his cousin in such a short period of time—the sudden wealth, the gaming skills, the complete transformation. He was starting to genuinely believe Noah could actually pull off whatever scheme he had in mind.

They arrived at the bank, and Noah led them inside toward the service counters. Surprisingly, the teller who was available was the same young woman he had encountered multiple times during his previous withdrawals—the same clumsy girl who had accidentally shouted the amount of money he wanted to withdraw that one time, which had led to him getting into trouble with a would-be thief on his way home.

Her eyes widened immediately upon seeing him approach, recognition flooding her features along with a visible blush that colored her cheeks. “It’s you…”

Noah smiled warmly, his enhanced attributes and natural charisma making the simple expression far more impactful than it would have been before the consumption of the rose petal candy. “It’s me. I need to withdraw money.”

She leaned in closer over the counter, looking around somewhat conspiratorially before whispering with endearing caution, “How much?”

Noah leaned in as well, bringing their faces close together with only the protective barrier between them. The proximity made her visibly shy, her blush deepening as she found herself so close to someone who had become considerably more attractive since their last encounter.

Noah’s appearance had transformed subtly but significantly. His face was now comparable to top-tier celebrities and professional models, despite retaining similarity to his previous self. The enhanced attributes had refined his features, cleared his complexion, and given him an almost magnetic presence that was simply overwhelming at close range.

“Too much,” Noah teased, his voice carrying playful ambiguity about whether he was referring to the money or their current proximity.

The young teller’s blush intensified to almost crimson levels as she processed both his words and the fact that this incredibly handsome man was leaning so close while looking directly into her eyes with that charming smile.

She straightened up from their close proximity, clearly flustered but trying to maintain professional composure. “For a large amount, I’ll need to assign you to one of our private consultation rooms where we can handle the transaction privately and securely.”

She turned to check the availability board behind the counter, her expression falling slightly. All the private rooms were currently occupied with other clients conducting their own high-value transactions or financial consultations.

The young teller leaned over to whisper urgently to her colleague at the next station, a more experienced woman who nodded in understanding after hearing the situation. The colleague stood up from her chair with the elegance of a swan.

“Follow me, please,” the young woman said to Noah and his companions, gesturing toward a hallway that led to the bank’s private consultation areas.

Noah, Smith, and Ethan followed her to a free private room that had just become available. The space was considerably more comfortable than the public counter area—cushioned chairs, a proper desk, and soundproofing that provided discretion for sensitive financial discussions.

The young teller took her seat across the desk while Noah, Smith, and Ethan settled into the client chairs. She pulled up Noah’s account information on her computer terminal, preparing to process his withdrawal request.

When she saw the account balance displayed on her screen, her eyes widened slightly with genuine shock.

The last time she had processed a withdrawal from his account, the person sitting before her hadn’t possessed anywhere near this much money.

The dramatic increase in such a short period of time shocked her to her core. This wasn’t normal savings accumulation or even a good salary—this represented wealth creation at a pace that suggested either extraordinary business success or something even more remarkable.

As somebody who started working recently after graduation, she had never met with such high value clients. Not to mention, a young charming one too.

Noah could see her surprise and a faint smile formed on his face, clearly amused by her reaction.

“Everything alright?” he asked casually, though his tone suggested he knew exactly what had surprised her.

“Huh?” She stammered, caught off-guard by being noticed staring at his account information.

“Yes, yes. Of course.”

She cleared her throat with a soft cough. “How much would you like to withdraw?”

“One hundred thousand dollars.”

Her eyes widened slightly once again before a troubled expression replaced her surprise. “That’s indeed too high for a standard transaction. I’ll need to speak with the branch manager—there are specific procedures we must follow for withdrawals of this magnitude. Security protocols, documentation requirements, that sort of thing.”

She looked genuinely apologetic about the delay. “It shouldn’t take too long, but I need proper authorization before I can release that amount of cash.”

Noah nodded with understanding. “Please be quick. I have an appointment to deliver the money, and timing is somewhat important.”

“Of course,” she assured him, standing quickly. “I’ll get the manager right away and expedite this as much as possible.”

She hurried out of the private room, leaving Noah, Smith, and Ethan alone for the moment.

Smith looked at his nephew with renewed concern. “Noah, you really don’t have to do this. That’s a tremendous amount of money—”

“Uncle Smith,” Noah interrupted gently but firmly. “Trust me. Just wait and see how this plays out.”

The young teller returned after a few minutes, a middle aged man with her.

“Mr Noah. Nice to meet you, I’m the manager of this branch, John. I heard you want to withdraw a large amount, I will be pleased to help you out.” The manager said, extending his hand in greeting.

Noah shook the hand. “Nice to meet you.”

The procedure didn’t take long, around twenty minutes before everything was settled.

Noah was provided the luxury of safe travel with body guards but he shook his head, rejecting the offer.

The body guards would only waste his time. The manager didn’t insist and made sure the money was correct before handing the suitcase to Noah.

The young teller remained in the room during the whole process, learning from her manager.

Once the withdrawal was completed, Noah made his way out of the bank with the suitcase in his hand.

Uncle Smith was flustered by the whole experience. Everything about it didn’t make sense, he knew that young Noah had been doing well recently, but it was still shocking to witness first hand.

Inside the private room where the withdrawl had been made. John, the manager looked at the young teller with him.

“Selene, I heard that this isn’t the first time you had an interaction with this young man.”

Selene, the young teller nodded. “Yes, I’ve interacted with Mr. Noah a few times before.”

John nodded before saying. “I want to have a word with you at the end of the day, come to my office.”

Selene had a look of concern on her face. “Yes, manager.”
