Chapter 317: Awakening the Girls
Luminari Academy, Calonia.
Alya and the Seat of Demons felt the changes that are happening to Cerulean. The concentration of Originat is four times thicker than before.
It felt as if the world itself was elevated, and even though it’s not on par with the God realm, it’s one of the richest sources of energy in the mortal realm.
They still stood, waiting for the arrival of Draco at the Luminari Academy.
Suddenly, they felt a substantial wave of aura behind them; vigilant towards it, they turned their backs, ready to attack.
But when they saw the face of the person, they were glad.
Clara, Adrianna, and Alya rushed into the person’s arms, tears dropping from their eyes.
Draco hugged them, calming them down. He raised their heads up, using his thumb to wipe their tears,
“Sorry,” he said softly.
From his death, the sacrifice of the girls, and now his disappearance for three months, he was sorry for this.
“Where are they?” He asked. Instantly, Draco had scanned the entire academy, but he didn’t feel their presence.
Alya waved her hands; three coffins floated before them. When Draco saw the figures in the coffins, tears couldn’t help but burst from his eyes.
It was his fault for being weak that they had to make sacrifices.
“Isn’t there any way to save them?” He asked the Seat of Demons.
Alya turned to him, “Master, there’s indeed a way to save them. Finding the Nirvana Herb or a highly concentrated life force can save them.”
Draco’s eyes twinkled. Such resources can’t be found in Cerulean; it’s still a developing world.
It seems the notion of leaving this world and heading to a better world has to be brought forward.
“Master,”
Draco was in thought when he heard a familiar voice that made him happy.
“Xylara, is that you?” Draco’s voice trembled.
After he woke up, he tried to communicate with them, but all he received was silence. This shook him, making him worried if something bad had happened to them and it was because of him.
“Yes, Master.” Her voice was weak and light, like a flickering candlelight.
“The others are still asleep. The Forbidden Form had extracted more than 90% of our energy; we partially offset the backlash of using it,” Xylara explained, her words making Draco feel guilty.
“No need to feel guilty, Master. Without using it, you will die, which means we would all die too.” She comforted him.
Draco’s feelings didn’t change; if he wasn’t weak, they wouldn’t have been hurt. If the enemies descended, how would we be able to fight them?
“Are you falling back unconscious?” Drakion asked.
“No, not at any time. The energy in the World Core would help me. Congratulations to Master on awakening a new class,” Draco could hear the happiness in her voice.
This was the first time he had seen Xylara happy when he awakened a class. It seems the new class isn’t to be underestimated.
“Oh yeah, the information I came to drop is that using the Primordial Element, you can wake them up, but this is only for two years, which means Master would have to find their remedy before that.”
Her words made Draco happy, who asked her again to be reassured,
“Yes, Master. The Primordial Element is beyond your reason; its uses vary and are beyond what you could think of. If not of Master low strength and also due to the fact the person they tried saving was Master, the Primordial Element can replenish their life force immediately.”
Draco was excited, shocked by the power of the Primordial Element. It seems he had unlocked all of its power; no wonder such a powerful class was awakened.
Draco didn’t waste time; he opened Rose’s coffin. Her figure, and skin were still smooth, only those eyes were closed; she was like Sleeping Beauty.
He put his hands on her forehead, and following the method given by Xylara, he circulated the Primordial Element throughout her body.
After doing it for her, he went to Ivy and Lyraea’s bodies and also did the same thing.
Everyone who watched was confused about what happened, but they guessed maybe Draco had a way of waking them up or replenishing their life force.
Draco watched them in excitement, but ten minutes had passed, and they showed no signs of waking up.
He was already losing hope already; it appears that the Primordial Element wasn’t enough to wake them up.
This made him sigh and feel more guilty.
COUGH!
Draco’s body shook in excitement, hearing this, and the three girls eyes were opening. Draco was so excited that tears were dropping from his eyes.
Rose, Ivy, Lyraea opened their eyes to see Draco’s crying expression and the excitement that clouded the others minds.
“Draco,” they all muttered at the same time.
The scene of Draco being killed flashed through their mind; they were excited since they could see Draco.
But aren’t they supposed to die too?
They looked down at themselves and saw they were still alive. They looked at Draco and knew he was the one who saved them.
Draco opened his arms, and the three of them burst into his arms. He hugged them with all his might, finding comfort.
It took a while before Draco released them; the others, too, hugged them. Everyone was happy.
After this, Draco explained what happened and what he used to save them.
The Seat of Demons, who heard Draco mention he had gained the element, “Primordial Element,” looked at one another; shock flashed through their eyes, but Draco missed this scene.
“Now Cerulean doesn’t have anything that can increase our strength. So I was thinking we should head out to a wider world. What do you guys say?” Draco proposed.
The others agreed to his words; the battle with Vincent had made them realize how weak they were. They couldn’t even participate in the battle; they were just drag down to him.
The Seat of Demons was supposed to be Draco’s fist and weapons, but it wasn’t sharp and strong enough.
The girls felt they should be supporting Draco, but they are just being a weakness to him.
When Draco got their confirmation, they began to plan which world they were going to and when.
