Chapter 465: The Fastest Battleship
Taking these cute little worms, Nash began to think of a solution to make them thrive.

Although he had read many solutions for their shortcomings, those were too expensive to be worth it.

If he could find a cheaper solution, it might be his ticket to becoming a Tier 4 scientist!

Buying all these three wonderful creatures, Nash also swept up all the others.

Although they were not as useful, they still had their worth.

Seeing that their prices weren’t much, he didn’t mind buying every specimen to study them later.

Overall, with his spending spree, buying every type of rare specimen around, Nash spent 4.5 quadrillion sol.

“You’re really a spendthrift.” Camilla was speechless.

Buying those dead things with light in his eyes, Camilla couldn’t help but feel goosebumps on her body.

“This will be our treasure in the future.” Nash smiled, looking forward to the results of his coming experiments.

Just these rare specimens were more than enough for their trip to the Solari Family vault.

However, looking at over 95 quadrillion sol in his account, Nash headed to the battleship docking area.

“Finally, it’s time to buy the big guys…”

—

Taking the two women around, they arrived at the battleship docking area.

Looking at massive ships lying around, adorned by top materials and runic engravings, they knew firsthand that they were all masterful creations.

These were not antiques that were regarded as treasures, but the most advanced creations and technology in the entire Solaris domain.

“It’s truly a waste having them lay here.” Eldora’s voice sounded from behind.

“You’re also here to pick a personal battleship? Shouldn’t it be given to you?” Nash asked in puzzlement.

As a member of the Solari Family, shouldn’t Eldora already be given the most prized treasures he could use?

“How could those stingy old guys just hand me something for free? If not for my Great Grandfather Azalea granting us this kind of opportunity, I could only choose those outdated things.” Eldora sighed.

Having a big family, the struggles he had to face were not simple.

For every move he made, there was a corresponding reaction from the family.

If not for his achievement in the cosmic competition, taking their shelter to level 7, the suppression by his family might be more than it is now.

“I see, you have it hard.” Nash nodded in understanding.

“Anyway, do you want me to recommend you some battleships here?”

“If you can.”

Taking a look at the battleships here, one by one, would take a lot of time.

If Eldora could introduce something to him, then it would be faster.

“Do you have any criteria in mind?”

“Yes. It must be fast!”

“Just fast?”

“Yes, the other things don’t matter much.”

Whether it was defense, firepower, or other auxiliary abilities, it didn’t matter to Nash.

In the ever-changing battlefield, speed was the key.

Whether he wanted to attack, defend, escape, or reinforce, arriving in time was better than overpowering the enemy.

Furthermore, with a war god as a guarantee, he didn’t need to care about other things.

“If you only want speed, then I recommend you this.” Eldora said, pointing at the sleekest battleship around that only stretched a few hundred meters long.

“Can you introduce it to me?”

“This was made by a scientific madman a few hundred thousand years ago. In pursuit of speed, he created this battleship, the ‘Void Pulse’. It is said that with every pulse of void, it could reach anywhere.”

“That amazing?”

“Haha, of course. After being tested, this ship was even faster than a planetary powerhouse. As long as it wasn’t trapped by their planetary domain manifestation, it could go unimpeded from any pursuit!”

“Hiss—isn’t this just a tier 7 battleship? How could it outmaneuver a tier 9 powerhouse?” Nash asked in disbelief.

Much less the difference of two tiers, even if it was a tier 8 battleship, he didn’t think it could be faster than a planetary powerhouse.

“Normally, it was indeed impossible. However, the ‘Void Pulse’ was made of void membrane, a rare material that could only be found in chaotic void zones.”

“Void Membrane? Chaotic Void Zone?” Hearing the new terms, Nash couldn’t help but ask.

“Void Membrane is a type of material that could be amplified infinitely by void energy. The reason why this ship is fast is because of this. Given enough Void Crystals, it could go as fast as you can imagine.”

“As for the Chaotic Void Zone, it’s the main battlefield of all the races. A place full of treasure and danger. Because of its specialness, it’s a secret knowledge that couldn’t be accessed by the public.” Eldora explained.

“I see. I’ll look into it when I have time.” Nash nodded, planning to replenish his general knowledge in a while.

Although not useful most of the time, general knowledge was essential in critical matters.

Not even knowing the name of such a grand battlefield, Nash felt a little ashamed of himself.

“What about this void membrane? Since it could go infinitely fast, what is the problem?”

“The problem is that it’s too fragile! Unless you’re a godly battleship pilot who could dodge every piece of rock in space, the ‘Void Pulse’ would be scrap after one trip!” Eldora sighed in pity.

The Void Pulse was indeed amazing, even a masterpiece incomparable to the whole Chronos empire.

However, its fragile nature made it merely a showpiece that couldn’t be driven.

Once, someone from the Solari Family tried to pilot it. Before even circling the Solaris Capital, it was nearly destroyed beyond recognition.

Fortunately, while Void Membrane was fragile, it could self-repair with just a little bit of void energy.

“This thing is really unique.” Nash smiled in interest.

He now understood why such an incredible battleship was just lying around here, gathering dust.

While it was fast, the faster it was driven, the quicker it would be scrapped.

Driving it into the Wild Void Territory was nothing but suicide.

Without navigation, facing endless dark beasts and space particles, even a godly pilot would die.

However, Nash wasn’t deterred. Instead, there was a fire in his heart to conquer this untamable beast!
