Chapter 423: A True Tier 4 Scientist
Entering the majestic hall, they were greeted by other top talents from the Solaris Alliance.

Scanning through the room, Nash spotted the familiar faces from before.

“Why is the meeting conducted here? Where’s the mysterious beast from earlier?” Nash asked, finding his seat.

“It couldn’t enter this place. The Core Vein is far too dangerous for it to venture inside.” Elizabeth sat beside him and answered.

“I see…”

Although that mysterious beast was powerful and could create a forbidden area, its fighting power wasn’t much.

Given the dangers and anomalies in the Core Vein, entering would be suicide.

While waiting for Eldora, Nash noticed there seemed to be more people than last time.

Aside from the alliance’s various leaders, there were also top talents like Eishin, whom he’d fought before.

Even some hidden Void Marshal powerhouses were present.

Scanning everyone unceremoniously, Nash noticed their power was at least 10 million in magnitude.

This was already far above average.

Based on this, Nash confirmed Eldora had called them here for serious business.

Soon, while guessing what the meeting was for, Eldora arrived.

“Good evening, everyone. I’m sure you’re all curious why I called you here today.”

Hearing his words, silence rang through the room.

Although they had a vague idea of his intentions, they weren’t certain.

“I won’t waste time. I called everyone here today to hunt a Sentinel Dark Beast.”

“A Sentinel Dark Beast? Have you gone insane, Eldora?”

“We wish not to encounter them, and now you want to hunt them proactively?”

“This is crazy! We would never agree!”

“Alright, stop. Let me explain first.” Eldora frowned, raising his hands.

Holding themselves back, they waited for Eldora’s explanation.

“Throughout our march, we’ve been smooth sailing. Aren’t you curious why?”

Hearing this, they grew curious as well.

According to the previous batch’s experience, even at the outer layer of the Core Vein, they should have encountered a Sentinel or two.

However, as if assisted by luck, they hadn’t even encountered massive swarms of Guardian Dark Beasts.

“It’s because of a special guest the Solari Family invited, Muraguri, a true tier 4 scientist and rare seer professional from the Chronos Capital.”

“A true tier 4 scientist?!”

Just those first words sent shockwaves through everyone.

Although they had subordinates with tier 4 scientist titles, in truth, they hadn’t passed any official tests.

They were only potential candidates who rose up because of their young age and promising futures.

However, when talking about their real capability, it could only match a tier 3 scientist at most; even then, it was still lacking.

Hearing that the Solari Family was able to invite a true tier 4 scientist, they couldn’t help but be shocked.

Adding his rare side profession, they couldn’t help but look at Muraguri with flattery.

Hailing from the Chronos Capital, even if Muraguri had no background, they didn’t dare offend him.

His ability alone was enough for them to vie for his favor.

“Welcome to the Solaris Alliance, Sage Muraguri!”

“Happy to have you on the team, Sage!”

“Enough.” Muraguri waved them off, letting everyone sit down.

He was only doing this for the money.

With the Solari Family promising to fund his next research and experiments, he just needed to help Eldora in the Cosmic Competition.

Not wanting to associate with these irrelevant people, he didn’t even bother looking at them.

“Alright, Sage Muraguri is quite busy. No need for irrelevant words.” Eldora added.

“Then please continue, Your Excellency Eldora,” they called out more respectfully.

It seemed the foundation of the Solari Family was deeper than they thought.

“I’m sure you’ve guessed by now why we’ve been smooth sailing. Thanks to Muraguri, we managed to bypass danger zones, arriving here in the middle layer without problems.”

“However, our luck ends here. Sage Muraguri detected too dense a number of Sentinels in the middle area, we have no way to maneuver around them.”

“Thus, instead of getting attacked and causing massive casualties, I thought we’d use our combined power to hunt them down in advance.” Eldora said in one breath.

At this moment, everyone understood why Eldora called them here.

Not only were the leaders of each alliance present, but every powerhouse and talent that could help was present.

It seemed their target this time was a Sentinel Dark Beast.

“Do you have any other questions? If not, let’s leave quickly. We don’t have time to waste.”

“What about the shares? Will it still be the same?” one of the leaders asked.

“No. It’ll be based on real-time contribution in the battlefield.”

“How will it be measured?”

“To not waste time, everyone will tabulate it, then we’ll pick the closest number.”

“That’s good.”

Hearing the method, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Soon, after asking a few more questions, Eldora dismissed everyone, giving them an hour to prepare.

—

An hour later, with the various talents returning one after another, Eldora quickly led everyone to the ground.

Although they could travel to their destination using the Solaris Team’s mysterious beast, it was too dangerous.

Like a big target, before they could even reach their destination, they’d already be surrounded.

Getting on the ground, Nash finally witnessed what it was like at the frontline.

Different from their role as a shield, the frontline’s goal was to push them forward.

Meaning, instead of killing every dark beast on the way, they scattered them around to be solved by the funnel.

Although they still killed most of the tier 6 dark beasts, many still managed to slip through.

“It’s really outrageous.”

Even though the four great teams acting as the spear didn’t clear every dark beast, Nash was still filled with admiration.

While the Star Alliance only faced one or two dark beasts daily, there were dozens here every minute.

If not for the mysterious beasts clearing most of them, they might not even be able to advance.

Suddenly, Nash noticed a different war weapon.

“Is that a tier 6 war weapon?”

“You got it right.” Blair answered, traveling together with Nash and Elizabeth.

“Is this the ability of a true tier 4 scientist?” Nash sighed.
