Chapter 383: Flashing Severance
“It’s time to start the slaughter…” Nash smiled, seeing everyone go in.

Leaving the affairs of the base to others, he headed to the battlefield in haste.

Meeting the cluster of dark beasts that seemed to form a wall, instead of fear, Nash felt excitement.

Going all out for the first time in a while, Nash summoned all thirty celestial beasts he’d mastered.

Merging them into his body, his power quickly shot up nine thousand times!

“Huh~ refreshing!”

Feeling as if he could crush everything, Nash felt overjoyed.

Stretching his hands, the elemental properties in the atmosphere quickly gathered into the palm of his hands.

Bang!

Shooting toward the barrier of dark beasts before him, an explosion of destruction ensued.

“Another~”

Forgetting his goal, Nash began to wreak havoc on the countless enemies before him.

Firing one attack after another, the seemingly invincible dark beast became helpless lambs for slaughter.

Feeling the destructiveness of his power, Nash slowly became drunk on it.

Attacking everything in sight, then replenishing his energy with elemental crystals once exhausted, Nash continued his slaughter.

Fortunately, while drunk, Nash was still conscious.

Returning to the runic space, all euphoria, adrenaline, and excitement he felt quickly vanished, replaced by absolute clarity.

“I still have a task to do.”

Already wasting a few minutes out of carelessness, Nash quickly bolted toward the closest intelligent-type dark beast they’d planned for.

“Commander!”

Seeing Nash arrive, the Void Venerates holding off the intelligent dark beast nearly cried out.

They were supposed to be the first ones Nash had to support. What happened?

“I’m sorry. I’m a little late.” Feeling slightly embarrassed, Nash quickly dashed toward the enemy they were fighting.

Seeing it wasn’t one of those troublesome dark beasts that could regenerate, Nash brandished his Severance Knife, slicing it into multiple pieces.

Witnessing this scene, the Void Venerates, ready to cry out their grievances, suddenly became mute.

With such invincible strength, how dare they urge Nash?

“Thank you, Commander!”

With fear and admiration, they could only swallow their words and express their gratitude.

“No problem. Just proceed with the plan and leave everything to me.”

With that, Nash flashed like a bolt of lightning, heading toward the next target.

—

“The Commander is here!”

Seeing Nash arrive, the group of Void Venerates couldn’t help but be excited.

Holding the dark beast still, they waited for him to end it.

“Nice response.”

Seeing how they acted, Nash praised, heading straight toward the dark beast.

Unable to move under the restraint of multiple Void Venerates, Nash easily ended the enemy within a few slashes.

Thinking about the group before, where he still had to chase the enemy, thus wasting a lot of time, Nash couldn’t help but complain internally.

“Continue your work. Head to the next point!”

“As ordered, Commander!”

In the plan, as soon as their target was eliminated, instead of coming back, they were to help the others.

—

Soon, going from one dark beast to another, Nash began to flash around the battlefield.

As soon as he appeared, Nash didn’t even utter a word, quickly eliminating the enemy.

Having less than an hour and over a thousand enemies, he couldn’t waste even a single second.

Unfortunately, he’d already wasted five minutes of that.

Short on time, Nash couldn’t even blink as every second he flashed toward an enemy, taking its head with his sword.

Fortunately, besides the first group that panicked because of his late arrival, all the others dutifully held their targets ready for him to chop.

Feeling his energy about to be exhausted, he quickly drained a mountain of elemental-type resources from his storage ring.

Although there was significant waste during the process, to save time, he could only increase the quantity.

—

Soon, as half an hour passed with over five hundred dark beasts killed, Nash’s vision began to blur.

Going at full power continuously had already started to wear down his body.

It wasn’t that the celestial beasts began to cause backlash; in fact, they were even protecting him.

The cause of his fatigue was the overexposure to the elements.

He was merely borrowing their power, and with overconsumption, the burden on both his body and soul wasn’t light.

While his soul could handle the damage, his body was starting to melt.

Detaching from the celestial beasts was also out of the question.

Although the lightning celestial beast alone was enough to give him the speed he needed, it was just for short bursts.

To support his continuous flashing, he had to activate all his power.

Soon, as his control began to lag, Nash began to feel solemn.

“No, I have to continue!”

Forcing himself, Nash began to activate the [Sensing Module System] and the [Combat Module System] to automate most of his movements.

From sensing the enemy, attacking, and getting to his next target. To prevent his body from making any mistakes from overexertion, he gradually let his module systems do most of the work.

—

Arriving at the fifty-minute mark, Nash began to feel as empty as a husk.

Although he could still think, his control of his body was already in haywire.

While normal movement was fine, at the speed he was moving, a centimeter’s difference was fatal.

Feeling faint-headed, he hadn’t even remembered how many dark beasts he’d killed.

Fortunately, with a quick check in the [Memory Module System], he saw there were still over two hundred fifty intelligent dark beasts remaining.

“Damn, so many!”

It seemed his impulsiveness earlier had been truly detrimental.

Thinking of his revelry and sense of invincibility, Nash couldn’t help but kick his past self.

It really was as they said, the past does all the stupid things while leaving the future to solve them.

“Just ten more minutes… I can hold on!”

To regain his control, Nash began to activate the [Combat Module System].

Amplifying his body’s senses, his control became as smooth as before.

However, seeing the damage it was doing to his body, he wouldn’t be able to last even a minute.

Taking a perfect-quality healing potion, then activating another module system, the [Recovery Module System], Nash barely extended the time.

“Come on! You can do this!”

Cheering himself on, Nash continued with his struggle.

Finally, arriving at the last dark beast, Nash flashed forward, bringing his sword down.

“It’s over…”
