I Can Program My Body? - Chapter 363
Chapter 363: Nova Trading Zone (2)
Entering the trading zone, Ungren noticed that, aside from a few buildings, most of the area was empty.
However, remembering that the Nova Team was trading information, not materials, it was understandable.
Usually, a cosmic team that set up trading zones had some specialties.
Whether it was treasures they crafted, dark technologies, potions, weapons, or the like.
Without any specialties, even if they were one of the top teams, no one would be willing to come.
Of course, the trading zones set up by the Great Five Team were different.
Even if they didn’t sell anything, the security they provided was enough to make the place thrive and be self-sufficient.
Walking past the material and tool section, Ungren and his team headed directly to the tallest building in the center.
“Welcome to the Nova Information Tower. What can I interest you in?” The receptionist, one of the Void Venerates on the Nova Team, greeted them.
“How can I buy information about resource points here? Is there anything I need to know?” Ungren asked straightforwardly.
“To trade information, you can either exchange a tier 4 dark technology or above, a tier 5 treasure, or other corresponding resources we have listed,” the receptionist explained.
“I see, that’s reasonable. Where can I trade?” Ungren nodded in understanding.
Most cosmic teams also bartered with various resources they needed.
Aside from the dark weapons, which were hard currency, he didn’t think the Nova Team was asking for too much.
“Please follow me…”
Shortly, the receptionist led Ungren and his team to one of the trading rooms, where they soon met with Nash, the leader of the Nova Team.
“You are?”
Feeling Nash’s unfathomable strength, Ungren knew he was in the presence of someone important.
Such a feeling was something only their leader could emit.
Feeling the same pressure from Nash, Ungren realized he was either one of the core leaders of the mysterious Nova Team or the leader himself.
“I’m Nash Navre, the leader of the Nova Team. Welcome to our humble trading zone,” Nash introduced, not hiding anything.
With his current strength, he didn’t feel the need to hide even his name.
Meanwhile, hearing that he was indeed in the presence of the Nova Team’s mysterious leader, Ungren and the others couldn’t help but feel nervous.
“No need to be nervous. I don’t plan to do anything. It’s because you’re the first ones to arrive here that I’m welcoming you personally,” Nash smiled, controlling the pressure he was unconsciously exerting.
“Ha-ha, I see. Can I ask if you have the coordinates of a tier-5 high-grade resource lode?” Not wanting to stay in the place any longer, Ungren quickly asked.
“Of course, we have that information. The question now is, do you have any specific requirements?”
“Oh? We can set requirements?” Ungren asked, surprised.
“Yes, from distance, elements, danger, and such. Of course, depending on the information, the price would vary.”
“This—”
Such arrogance and confidence. If he didn’t know any better, Ungren would’ve thought Nash had a map of all the resource points around.
“How is it? Do you have something in mind?”
“Y-yes. We want a high-grade resource lode, preferably within 1 million kilometers. As for the element and danger, they don’t matter,” Ungren quickly stated his requirements.
Aside from the distance, which they didn’t want to waste time on, all the other factors weren’t a problem.
Besides themselves, the Vinyamar Team had allied with multiple others.
Not needing to worry about the type of resource they mined or the danger, they just wanted quick access to nearby resources.
“That’s easy. The payment would be 100 perfect-quality potions or ten tier 4 war weapons,” Nash nodded, stating the price.
Although it might seem he had sold it cheap, the price was premium.
Paying these hard resources that couldn’t be replaced meant a team strength would be weakened.
If it was too much, they wouldn’t even consider it and would simply find the resource point themselves.
Although time-consuming, it was better than getting weaker.
“That’s fine. Here are the ten war weapons,” Ungren said, handing over the payment first.
It wasn’t that he trusted Nash, but there was nothing else he could do.
With Ungren’s weakness, if Nash really wanted to do something, he couldn’t fight back.
“Haha, what a straightforward fellow. Here’s the coordinate. You can check it first before leaving.”
“If it’s already occupied by other teams, I’ll exchange it for another,” Nash said generously.
“Thank you…”
—
Dispatching some of his team, they quickly returned to the main group and relayed the news.
With quick action, a group of fast-track scouts started navigating hundreds of thousands of kilometers in hours and confirmed the authenticity of the information.
After a day, Ungren returned to the Information Tower with much more confidence.
“We’ve confirmed the news, Lord Nash. Thank you for granting us this information.”
“No problem,” Nash smiled.
This day, besides the Vinyamar Team, a few more arrived at the trading zone to exchange information.
Hearing the first customers’ satisfied reviews, Nash felt that big business was about to come.
Sure enough, with the Vinyamar Team’s confirmation, all the other teams after them came back one after another.
Having verified that his information was legitimate, they began to spread the news to the shelter forum, attracting more cosmic teams.
Furthermore, unsatisfied with just one resource point, they stayed at the trading zone, waiting for their team to come back so they could buy more information.
While doing so, they even started trading with other teams, turning the once-silent market into a bustling one.
Not worried about the constant dark beast attacks, they even wanted to stay and spend the rest of the time in the trading zone.
Unfortunately, after asking around, they learned the trading zone would only exist for another month before moving to another location.
Soon, as more teams arrived, Nash became busy and quickly delegated others to be stationed at the trading zone.
With more important things to do, he began observing various teams to see if they were suitable for an alliance.
While doing so, he didn’t forget to train, having already gathered enough soul condensation potions for his Soul.
