Chapter 295: Planetary Battleship
Arriving at the Nova Gateway station, the first thing they saw was the massive planetary battleship.

With a size as big as a planet, it stood mighty in the void.

“This thing is huge…” Nash muttered.

A planetary battleship was the foundation of any sector’s territory.

Against a dark beast outbreak, its strength could rival thousands of Tier 9 planetary powerhouses.

If not for the cosmic competition, this battleship would never leave its post, guarding the Nova Sector like a gatekeeper.

Nash had learned such a ship wasn’t even available for public sale.

Even the Covenant of Truth had strict measures for these vessels.

Unless someone was a Tier 6 scientific philosopher or higher, no amount of Seals of Truth could buy one.

It wasn’t about being strict or stingy, but such a ship was too critical that it was the cornerstone for anyone aiming to establish a sectorial territory.

Given the difficulty of crafting each one, they were like the lifeblood of the Chronos Empire.

Soon, arriving at the port station, Nash parked his battleship and stored it in his spatial item.

Walking toward the gathering site, they were quickly spotted by Zeke.

“You’re finally here!” Zeke called out.

“Haha, we got held up by something…” Nash laughed, scratching his head in embarrassment.

“No worries. Since you’re here, board the ship. The Supreme Nova Leader has something to say to you seeded talents,” Zeke said hurriedly, dragging Nash and Camilla toward the planetary battleship.

—

Getting closer to the planetary battleship, Nash’s amazement deepened.

Looking at the exquisite runic language he couldn’t recognize, the dense arrays of runic programs, and the high-tier materials, Nash could only sigh in admiration.

If he didn’t know better, he might have thought it wasn’t man-made but a naturally born treasure.

Stepping inside the ship, Nash was filled with curiosity.

It was like an alternate steel world. Beyond the long, narrow pathways connecting each area, every room housed its own ecological environment.

He figured someone could live their entire life here and never realize it was a battleship.

Soon, arriving at the gathering site of the seeded talents, Nash was quickly swarmed by greetings.

“Welcome back, Leader Noir! You’re finally here!”

“Haha, I thought Leader forgot we were leaving!”

“Idiot, Leader must’ve been preparing something, so he was delayed.”

Hearing their chatter, Nash felt speechless.

Turning to their current state, he saw everyone had reached Void General Rank.

Further up, he noticed three additional Void Venerates, bringing their total to five.

Three hundred fifty Void Generals and five Void Venerates… even in the cosmic competition, it was already a force to be reckoned with.

“Tsk, as expected of you. Always the last to show up,” Natasha teased, walking toward him.

“But I arrived on time, right?”

“Whatever.” Natasha rolled her eyes.

While they chatted, the man everyone had been waiting for arrived: Alistair Nova, the Supreme Leader of the Nova Sector.

Looking at the man everyone revered and followed, they stood frozen, unable to utter a hint of disrespect.

“No need to be so stiff. I’m just here to say a few things,” Alistair said amiably.

Perfectly controlling his power, he seemed no different from anyone else, helping everyone relax.

Still, the unconscious authority and power he exuded kept anyone from truly letting their guard down.

“Alright. First, I’m here to congratulate you all. Your simulated training in the dark plane was unprecedented in the Nova Sector. Raising your shelter to level 5 in just one and a half years broke every record in our history.”

“As a reward for your efforts and commendation for your talents, I’ve decided to award everyone a Tier 5 runic weapon and a free planetary genetic potion. For those who’ve already taken the potion or don’t want the runic weapon, the reward can be converted to Sol Credits.”

Hearing Alistair’s announcement, everyone couldn’t help but gasp in shock.

What? A Tier 5 runic weapon? A free planetary genetic potion? Had they heard him right?

Letting them digest his words, Alistair couldn’t help but smile.

Such talents were a first for the Nova Sector. Beyond just a reward, this was also his investment in these future prodigies.

With his lips smiling into an arc, Alistair swept his eyes over everyone, finally resting on Nash.

“Nash Navre, or shall I call you Noir?”

“Anything is fine, Supreme Leader. It’s an honor no matter what you call me,” Nash replied quickly.

Though not as awed by Alistair as everyone else, Nash maintained utmost respect.

Managing the Nova Sector and turning it into a peaceful, orderly place, Alistair was undeniably a wise and respectable ruler.

“Then I’ll call you Nash. I want to specially commend your bravery, wisdom, and talent for leading everyone to achieve the impossible.”

“As a reward for your actions, I’ve decided to grant you one trillion Sol Credits…”

“A trillion Sol Credits?!”

Not only was everyone shocked, even Nash was dumbfounded.

He had just received a trillion-Sol credit line from an S-level treatment with the Covenant of Truth, and now another wave of wealth was coming his way?

It seemed that no matter how fast he spent money, he earned it back even faster.

Nash wondered if he was some son of a god of wealth. Everywhere he turned, money seemed to fall from the sky endlessly.

“Are you satisfied with this reward?”

“It’s my utmost honor to accept it!” Nash said quickly.

As for declining it out of false modesty? Haha, never!

Counting the rewards Alistair had distributed, from the planetary genetic potion and Tier 5 runic weapon, it already totaled about five trillion Sol Credits.

Receiving 20% worth of the reward was nothing compared to his contribution.

A sectoral territory was truly rich, richer than he could ever imagine.

As they say, the real money wasn’t made by workers or businessmen but by the politicians managing everyone.

Uniting every piece and process to make the cake, the wealth it generated was beyond what anyone could amass in a lifetime.

“I’m glad you’re satisfied. For taking the talents of the Nova Sector to greater heights, this reward is just a token of my appreciation,” Alistair said with a smile.

Knowing Nash was a bit of a money-grubber, this reward was a crucial foundation for his following words.
