Chapter 291: The Doom of Fletcher Family
Signing a contract and paying 3 billion sol as a 50% down payment, Nash finally secured the deal.

“Pleasure doing business with you.” The stall owner smiled, relieved to have finally sold the troublesome item from his stall.

Although a soul enhancement treasure was a hot commodity, at such a high price, it was no better than scrap iron no one wanted.

“Can you explain the details of this treasure first?” Nash asked.

Although he had read its brief description, Nash was unaware of its full capabilities.

“Hmm, this is a tier 5 runic soul enhancement treasure crafted for a tier 5 Void Marshal, so it has no weakening runes.”

“I see you’re only a tier 3 Void General. You might not be able to use this treasure,” the stall owner cautioned, sensing Nash’s strength.

“No need to worry about that. Just tell me how much it can enhance soul power,” Nash replied with a smile.

Though he was only at the tier 3 realm, his soul power was on a different level.

As long as he achieved a 10,000% soul condensation rate, upgraded his genes, and combined it with the shelter buff, he should be able to wield it.

“Well, since you’ve already bought it, I’ll explain…”

Pulling out the data he’d recorded from testing the soul enhancement treasure, the stall owner began explaining how its enhancement worked.

Listening to the stall owner’s explanation, Nash started analyzing the data, cross-referencing it with his own understanding.

Based on his calculations, to use the soul enhancement treasure, one needed about 1 trillion soul power or computational power.

Currently, Nash estimated that even after reaching a 10,000% soul condensation rate and upgrading his genes to planetary level, his computational power would only reach 100 billion.

To achieve 1 trillion soul power and use the soul enhancement treasure, he would need an additional level 1 soul enhancement buff.

As for the treasure’s enhancement power, as a tier 5 runic weapon, it could boost soul power by at least twofold.

It might seem low, but the stronger one’s soul power was, the greater the enhancement, which could potentially go up to 100 times!

Besides enhancing the soul, it was also a portable training device that could aid in comprehending the elements and the laws of the universe.

“No wonder you priced it so high,” Nash said with a smile.

The elemental and law comprehension boost was likely what made the treasure so costly.

“I told you, buying the soul enhancement treasure was no loss!” the stall owner said with a sigh.

If not for others’ doubts about his words, he would’ve sold this treasure long ago.

“Alright, I have other matters to attend to. Just deliver the treasure once I arrive in the Capital of the Solaris Domain.”

“Got it…”

Leaving the stall, Nash didn’t dare to linger and quickly returned to reality.

Any longer, and he might spend another billions of sol.

He was still counting on that money to train until he reached the peak of the tier 5 realm.

Exiting the Solaris Domain’s Covenant of Truth, Nash was once again sent into a dizzying whirlwind of colors.

—

“Huh~”

Waking up from the virtual pod, Nash nearly retched as he greedily gulped air.

It seemed the domain-wide virtual server was still too much for him.

He could only wonder what would happen if he accessed a Cosmic Wide Virtual Server. Would he drop dead the instant he logged in?

Shaking off such wild thoughts, Nash focused on deducing the Infinite Soul Condensation Manual.

—

Three days later, just when Nash thought things would stay the same until they leave the Nova Sector, some seeded talents from the Starfire Shelter returned.

Among them was Zypr, the grandson of Grand Ambassador Zyair, one of the Tier 8 War Gods ruling the Arlean Civilization.

Thinking of his revenge against the Fletcher family, Nash summoned Zypr.

Meanwhile, hearing he was called, Zypr quickly dropped everything and rushed to the Crescent Starfall Residence.

“Leader Noir! How are you? Are you doing well here?”

“No need to be so formal. I’m not the shelter leader here,” Nash said.

“No, no. In my heart, Leader Noir will always be the mighty leader.”

“Alright, enough flattery. I called you here to discuss matters concerning your Arlean Civilization.”

“Oh? What’s wrong, Leader? Tell me, and I’ll have my grandfather fix it immediately,” Zypr said seriously, assuming Nash was still dwelling on his grudges from the past.

Though the Arlean Civilization had already compensated Nash and Earth, and eliminated those involved, Zypr wasn’t sure if Nash wanted more.

“It’s the Fletcher Family. I heard they targeted my people from Earth. This time, thousands of void warriors died, including over a dozen void commanders.”

“If not for my people’s quick and ruthless response, the losses would’ve been greater. Unfortunately, such ruthlessness also earned Earth a notorious reputation in the Dark Plane.”

“This—” Zypr’s mind buzzed at the news.

How dare the Fletcher Family touch Earth’s people?!

Hadn’t the higher-ups already declared Earth as off-limits?

If not for centuries of enmity, the Arlean Civilization would have even wanted to have Earth as one of their allied planetary civilizations. How could the Fletcher Family be so reckless?

“Do you have any evidence, Leader? It’d be easier to convict them with proof,” Zypr asked solemnly.

“No, there’s no evidence. But based on my deductions and those of one of my subordinates, it could only be the Fletcher Family.”

“I see…” Zypr nodded.

If it were in the past, he might’ve thought that Nash was spouting lies for his personal vendettas.

However, having witnessed Nash’s ability, strength, and resourcefulness, Zypr didn’t doubt a single word.

“Can you handle it?” Nash asked, his tone carrying deeper meaning.

“Don’t worry, Leader. I’ll finish this task before we leave the Nova Sector!” Zypr said, patting his chest confidently.

“Hmm, good…”

“I’ll give you a satisfactory answer soon, Leader,” Zypr said swiftly and left.

With only a week before they departed the Nova Sector, he had to act fast to deliver the result Nash wanted.
