Chapter 280: Scientific Assessment
“This large-scale weapon is called Spiral Behemoth. This creation of mine uniquely comes with the integration of my genetic ability.” Nash said briefly.

“Oh? Care to explain?”

Integration of treasure or technology with Genetic Ability has been done countless times.

Reading Nash’s information, it seemed his genetic ability had nothing to do with such a battle weapon.

“Gladly~”

Seeing that they finally had some interest, Nash took out all the 60 Spiral Behemoths from his storage item.

Suddenly, with a wave of his hands, every Spiral Behemoth hummed, simultaneously moving into a formation like a well-trained army.

Dodging various obstacle courses around, drilling various targets, doing various tricks, Nash maneuvered every Spiral Behemoth like his own hands.

Watching his performance, not only were the scientists watching on the sidelines shocked, even the five elders sitting in the middle were dumbfounded.

“Is this autonomous battle weapon a dark technology?!”

Dark Technology, the term they coined for technological devices that could work in the Dark Plane.

Although the Void Administrator banned technology in the dark plane, they were never really the ones to succumb to any rules, as they relentlessly looked for loopholes; thus, Dark Technology was born.

Unfortunately, unlike real technology which could be mass produced, dark technologies each have unique properties that make them hard to replicate.

“Enough! Now tell us the limitations of your device, what it could do, does it have anything more unique to it?”

Stopping his performance, Nash smiled, detailing the properties of the Spiral Behemoth in conjunction with his genetic ability.

“Currently, I can only control battle weapons containing at or below the power of elements.”

“For the distance, it’s also limited by my soul capacity, which is over a hundred thousand kilometer radius.”

“Furthermore, the Spiral Behemoths caneither work by themselves or be controlled by anyone granted with my power.”

“Alternatively, without my ability or out of this range, the Spiral Behemoth would be a mere scrap of material,” Nash explained one by one.

“Oh? So amazing?”

If Nash wasn’t joking with them, then his creation would be revolutionizing the warfare capability of the Nova Sector.

Just the operability of a hundred thousand kilometer radius was already enough for it to capture multiple shelters.

Coupled with autonomous and manual control, perhaps Nash could even create different types of such dark technology for various purposes and terrains!

“What about the limit on numbers? How many can you control?”

“I should be able to control 10,000 Spiral Behemoths without any problem.” Nash quickly calculated.

To control each Spiral Behemoth autonomously would take him 100,000 computational power to maintain.

With over a billion computational power, controlling 10,000 Spiral Behemoths was not a problem.

“What about manual control? How much is the limit?” They asked, their eyes lighting up.

The autonomous control could already reach 10,000; what about manual control?

“It’s 100,000…”

Passing the main bulk of control to an individual, Nash would only need 10,000 computational power to maintain the logic function of each Spiral Behemoth.

“Amazing! Too amazing. I didn’t expect there would be such an amazing Dark Technology being born in the Nova Sector!”

Most of the Dark Technology in the universe was the result of the study of law.

As it was the weakness of the Nova Sector, there were barely any passable dark technologies being created in it.

—

Soon, they began to ask about various details, from the materials used, specs, and various data.

Listing everything noteworthy, Nash’s assessment was completed.

“Congratulations, Nash Navre, for passing the Assessment. You are now an official Tier 1 scientific scholar. I hope you strive for more and achieve exceeding results in the future!”

“It would be my honour.” Nash bowed with a smile.

Scientists were also ranked from Tier 1 to Tier 9.

From Tier 1 Scholar, Tier 2 Professor, Tier 3 Academian, Tier 4 Sage, Tier 5 Archsage, Tier 6 Philosopher, Tier 7 Philosopher King, Tier 8 Philosopher Saint, and Tier 9 Paragon!

Finally stepping into the realm of the most prestigious profession in the universe, Nash was full of anticipation.

“We’ll prepare all the certifications for you later. For now, can we borrow one of your Spiral Behemoths?”

“Yes, you can borrow it.” Nash nodded in understanding.

Although these elders had already vouched for him and granted him the title of scholar, there was still final vetting.

Although it wouldn’t change his result, it would determine his future treatment.

—

Soon, as the crowd dispersed, the elders, the only Tier 5 Scientific Archsages of the Nova Sector, went into the depths of the Nova Arcanum.

Arriving in a large communication room with various intricate runic markings, they promptly opened the long-distance virtual relay and connected to someone in the Covenant of Truth.

“What have you five discovered?” Aries, the man in the projection, asked calmly.

Yet, in the ears of the five Archsages, it was like a god’s decree that they couldn’t desecrate.

The Covenant of Truth was the main body governing all the scientists in the Chronos Empire.

Usually, to report the addition of a new scientist, they just needed to file a report and then wait for approval.

However, seeing Nash’s creation that might change the nature of the Dark Plane in the future, they felt they needed to report it to a higher-ranking scientist, a Tier 6 Scientific Philosopher!

Although they had only one rank difference, it was an insurmountable mountain that they couldn’t cross for a lifetime.

If it were to be compared in status, even the Supreme Leader of the Nova Sector couldn’t be compared to a finger of a Philosopher!

Furthermore, although the man before them was a Tier 6 Scientific Philosopher, his strength was at Tier 9 Planetary Seedling, no worse than the strongest in the Nova Sector.

It can be said that, while a planetary seedling could be found everywhere in the universe, a scientist who had reached the philosopher level was rarer than a phoenix feather.

In the entire Chronos Empire, there might not be even a thousand Scientific Philosophers.

As for the ranks above, they didn’t even have the right to see such people, much less know their details.

Facing a Scientific Philosopher before them, they quickly talked about their discovery of Nash, his genetic ability, and creation.
