Chapter 560: Movements In The Shadows! II
In the endless Void.

Inside a sanctuary wrapped up and seamlessly mixed with the surrounding emptiness, reality bent according to principles that Achilles had imposed through careful manipulation of spatial authorities.

The domain existed as a pocket of ordered stability within primordial chaos, and it housed everything he valued most across Observable Existence.

Radiant blue waters spread across vast expanses, their surface perfectly still except where movement disturbed them. The figures of Rose and Achilles floated together in peaceful suspension within this crystalline medium, and all around them schools of blue-gold fish swam freely through the liquid with coordinated grace.

Rose had transformed considerably since before, and her current form reflected the culmination of work of utter glory. She looked like a normal human woman elevated to impossible extremes, as if someone had taken the platonic ideal of human physiology and made it manifest through reality-warping capability.

She had continued manipulating her code of existence with surgical precision to fully integrate the Adrastia Lineage, extracting and assimilating capabilities.

Her eyes blazed with purple and gold radiance, but her hair remained radiant green. She was currently adorned in a modified Evolutius Suit that had been redesigned to accommodate her transformed physiology.

Achilles floated beside her in similar peaceful suspension, though he was surrounded by verdant obsidian light that rotated in visible patterns around his form. He was demonstrating what he’d obtained during his infiltration of the Primordial Civilization of Life, showing Rose the synthesis of opposed principles that had emerged from his unprecedented assimilation.

The Prime Living Existential Authority of Necrocratic Life combined life’s brilliant green with death’s profound darkness in elegant balance.

Rose observed this authority with analytical appreciation, her perception allowing her to see the intricate ways the two principles reinforced rather than rejected each other.

She smiled while speaking with voice that carried amusement.

“So, multiple Collapsed Civilizations seeking hegemony with their leaders trying to return from states between death and dormancy.”

“It really puts things into perspective regarding how we should view threats we’ve already encountered. How would we even look at The Nar’Thyss Existential Lineage now?”

The question hung between them with weight, and Achilles laughed at the comparison with genuine amusement evident in his expression.

“It’s doubtful that the strongest among the Nar’Thyss could even reach the level of any genuine Member of these Primordial Civilizations, much less challenge their elevated Champions or Overseers.” His certainty came from direct comparison between power scales he’d now experienced personally.

“They operate in completely different tiers of capability, and what seemed insurmountable to us then was merely because we lacked proper context about what true power actually looks like.”

He shifted position slightly in the water, causing ripples to spread outward in expanding circles, and his expression became more serious as he continued.

“After becoming familiar with Living Existential Authority and experiencing how Primordial Civilizations actually function, my capability to Assimilate The Void and The Existential Authority of Fables became even more expanded and refined.” He gestured subtly, causing faint patterns of authority to manifest around them that illustrated what he was describing.

“With Fables currently, I’m able to observe how my own fable is affected by external influences and trace connections between seemingly unrelated events that shaped our trajectory.”

Rose listened with focused attention, and Achilles continued.

“I found out that among the leading Constellations of the Nar’Thyss, one entity knew exactly which Star Sea an anomaly had risen within. They possessed precise intelligence about our location, yet they purposefully chose not to share this information with the other Nar’Thyss Constellations because they thought…it could lead to something interesting.”

“This deliberate withholding allowed us to smoothly leave as we did without having to go through some ridiculous difficulty that would have resulted in battles snd even deaths…”

He paused to let that revelation settle before continuing with a measured tone.

“That particular Nar’Thyss Constellation is the only reason why I haven’t gone out of my way to systematically collapse every single Nar’Thyss entity I can locate. I’ll even leave it to Father, Grandfather, and the others of our lineage who were most directly affected by the Fables that the Nar’Thyss imposed, allowing them to go and pay a visit if they care enough about settling old scores.” He shrugged with gesture that dismissed past threats that no longer concerned him.

“But no, for now I couldn’t care too much about them or their maneuvering. I’m much more interested in this concept of Civilizations and this next scale of existence.”

His eyes blazed with intensity!

“The Civilizational Scale, where those who attain it seemingly cannot fully die no matter what destruction is visited upon them.”

“THE Slumbering Genesis was supposedly killed during the Age of Collapse, yet mechanisms remain that work toward resurrection. THE Corpse Hierophant fell in mutual annihilation, yet Necrocracy operates as if his return is inevitable certainty rather than hopeful possibility.”

He smiled with expression that combined curiosity and raw ambition. “That’s the kind of existence I want to understand and potentially achieve, not wasting time on conflicts that operate at scales we’ve already transcended.”

Rose listened calmly to his explanation, and she smiled with understanding. She moved her hands toward the authority rotating around Achilles with gesture that indicated desire to examine it more closely, and her purple-gold eyes analyzed it.

“This is the authority of a Civilization? Living Existential Authority?”

Achilles nodded while providing precise terminology that mattered for proper understanding.

“The Prime Living Existential Authority of Necrocratic Life. It’s a synthesis of two opposed Civilizations’ fundamental principles, and it represents something that neither organization has produced through their established methodologies.” He acknowledged the unusual nature of what he was offering.

“It’s a crazy first thing to be assimilating as introduction to Civilizational-scale authorities, but…” He gestured toward her with motion that suggested presenting gift of tremendous value.

“Take it. Let’s see what the Genome Empress can really accomplish.”

Rose smiled at his words, and her expression carried warmth.

“Yes, Little Fatty.”

Rose’s eyes shone with purple-gold light that intensified until it seemed she was looking through reality’s surface to perceive deeper structures beneath. Her consciousness focused entirely on the Prime Living Existential Authority of Necrocratic Life rotating around Achilles, and she prepared to employ capability that she’d only recently perfected through integration of the Adrastia Lineage’s fundamental characteristics.

Her voice when she spoke carried weight of utter glory!

“Assimilate.”

HUUM!

The same word Achilles always said when employing his signature capability, and yet today it came from Rose’s mouth instead with perfect pronunciation and intent.

She couldn’t help but smile!

Her being began to shine and illuminate with unfathomable glory as the Prime Living Existential Authority of Necrocratic Life responded to her command, and waves of power rose between them that made the surrounding waters ripple outward in expanding circles.

Reality itself seemed to pay attention to what Rose was becoming!
