He paused for emphasis before delivering information that would reshape their outlook gor the future.

“THE Corpse Hierophant has their emergence near and their Legions are ready to move out at any time to begin the purging of all remaining opposition forces.”

Mycelle’s expression became heavy as she processed what this meant for their immediate situation, and the gathered Living Lives who’d witnessed everything exchanged troubled glances between each other!

Before she could voice any questions or objections, she nodded with determination that showed she would follow his commands regardless of how dire circumstances appeared.

“Yes, sir!”

She then turned to the others and began giving rapid commands that sent them scattering to their assigned tasks.

Some would gather the remaining infiltrators, others would begin implementing defensive preparations, and still others would coordinate communication with supposed allied forces that needed to be warned about upcoming offensive.

They left Achilles behind in the damaged hall as his eyes shone with terrifying brilliance that he no longer bothered to fully suppress once he was alone with his thoughts.

After hearing all that he’d learned from Mor’takis’s extracted memories, he planned to see exactly what Legions would come here when Necrocracy launched their assault, and instead of running away or evacuating to safer locations…

He could potentially turn this entire Sanctuary into jaws that would grind down enemy forces and provide nutrients for him to continue assimilating pristine and pure authorities of Civilizations.
