Chapter 300: New Role? [FIXED!] [HAPPY 300 CHAPTERS!!!!!!]
Kyle was doing well for himself, and this also included the apartment; he had grossed approximately $1,000,000.

This was no small feat; this was life-changing money for anyone, but Kyle realised that on paper, he was getting social proof for his wealth.

Kyle caught up with Nate and noticed that if he left this place in his hands, then he would have found a worthy man.

The fact that it accounted for everything right down to the drinks? That was something Kyle didn’t do when he worked at the shop.

He only summarised it and gave an account by writing the summary, and his boss didn’t mind it because the shop wasn’t doing all that well to begin with.

The difference between Calista and that man was that he had been mistreating Kyle for as long as he worked there, months on end.

Unlike Calista, who was a bitch for a day, Kyle wouldn’t have lost his job if he didn’t have such a shitty manager.

If anything, the thought of someone standing up for him would have changed his views.

If he had Jones as a boss, this would never have happened, so the hate he held for that man was on a different level.

However, Kyle knew this was a better use of the space either way, because he had created employment and given people a chance at life.

Kyle left the club, and his next destination was his Agency. he needed to speak to Isabella about their next project.

He saw the pictures of Calista and Lorenzo, but Kyle wasn’t bothered, as this was the perfect screen for him.

He liked that they were seen in this light together, as it would dispel any potential rumour surrounding them.

Kyle knew his priorities, and he arrived at his Agency a few minutes later, but the parking lot looked emptier than usual.

Kyle didn’t think too much of this as he didn’t expect the place to be filled 24/7; that would be absurd, as not even banks had that kind of traffic.

Kyle walked in and noted that there wasn’t a long line waiting to see Isabella, either, telling him something might have happened.

“Hm…” Kyle thought to himself as he greeted Carly, she was happy to see him because she liked the way he carried himself.

He was respected, and the fact that he was able to save the Agency.

Not only that, he made them rise so fast in rank that one would think there was a glitch in the matrix.

“Hey Isabella, is everything alright?” Caleb asked, but Isabella didn’t look worried.

If anything, she looked delighted to see Caleb because it had been a while, but more importantly, the attention Calista had brought to the Agency was all positive.

“Everything is going great! I was about to call because there are a few things I want to talk to you about,” Isabella was quick to inform him and began to type with purpose on her laptop.

Kyle waited patiently because this had the same energy as what Nate had done when he went to see him.

“Good news, I hope?” Kyle asked, staring at the back of her laptop, but Isabella was too engrossed with what she was typing to give him a verbal response.

Isabella turned on her laptop, and Kyle could see it was the company’s email, except it was filled with actual celebrities.

This was no Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie, but they were prominent names and Agencies as well.

“This is…” Kyle couldn’t even complete his sentence because Isabella was too eager to finish it for him.

“These are the people who have reached out to work with us in the future! I had no idea it would be this big, but it seems like this is somehow part of your grand scheme!” Isabella blurted.

Kyle never saw her this excited; she was always composed when she spoke, as if she were counting her words.

“I must confess, I didn’t think much of Calista, but it looks like your scouting skills surpass mine, gyahaha!” Isabella laughed before turning the laptop back to face her.

“I have managed to respond to a few, but I have sent them to you to verify,” Isabella informed Kyle. Kyle was impressed by what his collaboration with Nakamaura had produced.

“Isabella, you’re a genius!” Kyle exclaimed, matching her excitement, because he understood that this would only help push his plans forward.

This was big because if anything, Hollywood should be taking note of him; however, he knew this also worked in Nakamura’s favour.

And if anything, they should be the ones reaping the true benefits of this collaboration.

However, Nakamura must have sensed their potential; otherwise, he wouldn’t have reached out in the first place.

He didn’t do this to share in the glory because they were on the rise, and now, Calista was the face of the Agency.

People came to the movie to watch Calista more so than Lorenzo because she was a beautiful woman, and privilege was something that couldn’t be understated.

“Is there any new project that could help ride the wave of this momentum?” Kyle asked, and Isabella listed a few.

Kyle focused on them all and noticed there were a few that would be perfect for Calista.

He didn’t want any seasonal series because it would require continuous dedication and limit the roles she could get.

Kyle knew how dangerous it was to be known for a single role, because it effectively robs the actor/actress of their identity, making it difficult for them to establish a name for themselves in other movies.

If she acted in a good movie, a few good movies, then this would help in establishing her presence because she needed to break out of the role she had in her past.

“You can assign the seasonal series to the upcoming actresses you have signed; it would keep them occupied for a long-term project, which means you wouldn’t have to worry about finding them another gig for a while,” Kyle informed her, and Isabella was quick to take notes.

Kyle had proven to her he just might be a genius, and their current situation was proof of it.

She had no reason to doubt him and planned to do everything right to the tee.

“I want to know more about these roles,” Kyle told Calista, but these were fantasy-based movies.

Kyle knew the power a well-written fantasy story had because it introduced the audience to something they couldn’t experience in their world.

Kyle had one that caught his eye, which was “The Sunken City of Aerilon”, as it evoked a sense of mystery in and of itself.

He read everything about it in a matter of minutes, and it had great potential only if done right.

It felt like something you would see Lana Croft in, but Kyle had no idea if Calista could pull it off because she had only acted in romance movies.

But he knew first-hand flexibility wasn’t something she was lacking, so this could be a great shift to make people see her in a different light.

And capture the male audiences, as they were a demographic that paid for cinema as opposed to women.

The difference was too vast to ignore, and if she only acted in chick flicks, it would limit the audience she could reach.

She needed to branch into other genres, and if she was going to become the face of the Agency, Kyle didn’t need her in just one role.

He needed her to be as diverse as she could be, roles that no one would think she could play, and comic book fans love seeing beautiful women represent the women they have read about for years in books.

But his role will open doors for such a role; however, she needed to show in this movie that she could handle such a role if given.

The movie wasn’t significant by any means, and if anything, it looked like something that had a greater potential of failing than succeeding, but what could make even an average movie great?

You guessed it, money, and this was what Kyle planned to do, he planned to fund the movie and make use of his own AI team to handle CGI, which would increase the potential.

However, Kyle wanted all rights to this movie; this Agency was so used to outsourcing entertainers that Kyle wondered if they could start making movies themselves.

This would not only take away any competition but also give them full control over these things because this was something he had learned with his dealings with Nakamura.

Kyle was picking up fast on how the entertainment industry worked, and the only way to win is to become an Agency that deals in everything.

“Can you get me in contact with the company in charge of this movie?” Kyle asked Isabella.

“Done,” Isabella responded with a click of a button.

“What would I do without you?” Kyle said with a smile as his phone buzzed to show an incoming email.

This was going to be a big step in how his Agency was perceived.
