Jared’s eyes twitched—then locked onto Ethan with burning hatred.

“You slaughtered dozens of my Ashenvale family members—today I will exact blood for blood!”

“ACCEPT YOUR FATE!”

His roar shook the ground.

The Ashenvale family’s losses were catastrophic—nearly two-thirds of their upper combat force had died under Ethan’s hands.

He was beyond reason, beyond caution—only vengeance remained.

Its sword intent descended like a meteor, suppressing heaven and earth.

The sword stabbed into the earth between Ethan, Jared Ashenvale, and the gathered Supremes. A violent shockwave swept outward, raising a storm of blood-colored dust.

Asher swept his cold gaze across the battlefield.

Drake’s expression turned serious for the first time.

Asher smiled faintly—yet even that smile made Drake feel suffocated.

Latham exhaled, but relief shone in his eyes.

Then he looked at Ethan again.

A physical cultivator… Seventh-turn Nirvana… Standing alone against six Supremes…

“Interesting. Very interesting.”

Jared Ashenvale finally snapped.

“Who are you?!” he demanded.

Asher chuckled. “It seems I’ve been away too long if people don’t even recognize me.”

He lifted a hand casually.

“I am Asher—Guardian of the Blood Tavern.”

Then he smiled, eyes cold as winter steel.

“But most people prefer to call me…The Blood Marquis.”

Gasps rippled through the battlefield.

“Guardian of the Blood Tavern?!”

Even the Supremes paled.

Jared Ashenvale’s fury momentarily faltered—but then reignited.

He didn’t care who Asher was.

He wanted Ethan dead.

“Brother Asher!!” Zeon rushed over, excitement shining in his eyes.

“Hm? Zeon?” Asher’s brows lifted.

“You’re still not in the Supreme Realm?”

He clicked his tongue.

“Tsk. Disappointing. How are you supposed to compete with other geniuses of the Verdant Lantern Dynasty like this?”

Zeon’s joy died instantly.

Everyone knew of Asher’s reputation—But seeing him now, as an Upper Supreme, was another matter entirely.

Alex Thunderhall and Anthony Deepvale exchanged looks, swallowing hard.

They had heard of Asher.

They had respected Asher.

But they had never imagined… Today, the Blood Marquis himself would descend in person—
