God-Tier Fishing System - Chapter 349
Chapter 349: Chapter 349
Galen exhaled a long, shaky breath.
His entire spine relaxed for the first time in this battle.
As long as Ethan was dead, he—Galen—could finally breathe.
“This kid… is finally dead.”
Belle Thunderhall muttered softly, her tense expression loosening.
Her choice to ally with the Ashenvale Family had already put her opposite Ethan. A monstrous enemy like Ethan—if not killed—would haunt her dreams.
Seeing his aura disappear, she finally relaxed.
Across the valley, River and the others let out sighs of relief as the violent light faded.
Ethan’s aura was gone.
Completely.
Zeon and Magnus stopped fighting, staring toward the valley center. The torrential spiritual light was still spreading, space still collapsing from the destructive clash.
Just the turbulence of ruptured space was enough to obliterate anyone under Supreme.
“Junior Brother Ethan…”
Althea clenched her fists until her knuckles turned white.
She refused to believe it. Her heart rejected the idea entirely.
Ethan would not die here.
Not like this.
Far in the distance, Seraphina stared blankly at the chaotic mist.
“Ethan… just died like that?”
Her chest tightened. Complicated emotions churned. Fear? Relief?
She couldn’t tell.
“Aunt Iris… is that boy dead?” Grey asked.
Iris didn’t answer immediately. Her eyes narrowed.
“I cannot sense his aura… but that doesn’t guarantee death. Keep watching.”
Before her sentence fully ended—
Her pupils shrank violently.
“This kid is NOT dead!”
“What speed!”
Her gaze shot toward the rear of Victor Ashenvale and Galen.
At that exact moment—
A figure silently materialized behind them.
Victor Ashenvale and Galen stiffened, their hair standing on end, every inch of their skin crawling with terror.
An instinctive warning—Death is here.
“Not good!!”
Both whipped around, trying to defend.
But it was far, far too late.
A cold voice whispered in their ears.
“You guys… that’s it.”
The Moonflood Scythe flashed.
Swish—!
A serene, beautiful arc of blue scythe light passed between their necks like the rising full moon.
Two heads flew upward, spinning through the air before crashing onto the ground.
Silence.
The mist in the valley dissipated. Space reconstructed itself.
Ethan’s Celestial Prism Dharma Body stood unblemished— Smooth as jade, radiant with multicolored glass-like brilliance.
Not a single crack.
Not a single scratch.
So this was its true might.
A Dharma Body woven from mutated treasure bone, reinforced by original power, and blessed by the Nine Emperors Dao Body.
Indestructible. Impervious.
A fortress of living law.
Ethan had taken three devastating attacks simultaneously… And survived untouched.
Then he used the Breathing Technique to erase all traces of his aura…
Creating the perfect illusion of his death.
Victor and Galen relaxed—And that single heartbeat was all Ethan needed.
Five Elements Escape Technique. A silent flash.
Two impossible deaths.
Belle Thunderhall, standing much further away, had escaped only due to distance and pure luck.
Now—
The black lines along Ethan’s neck and jaw slowly receded. His breathing grew heavier.
This battle… Had drained him greatly.
Two-thirds of his physical strength burned away.
His meridians throbbed with exhaustion.
His bones vibrated faintly under the pressure.
Ethan inhaled deeply, expression cold.
Two heads rolled on the ground.
Victor Ashenvale and Galen’s faces were frozen in disbelief.
Their lips were parted slightly— As if they wanted to speak…
But death stole their voices.
…..
Dead.
Silence.
Complete, suffocating silence.
The whole valley held its breath.
Even the sound of the heads hitting the ground echoed crisply… A morbid punctuation mark.
But that solemn stillness didn’t last long.
Far away, Iris’s brows furrowed for a moment—
Then curved into a smile.
“Although Ethan killed two Inferior Supremes… he also consumed an enormous amount of strength. He is already at the end of his strength.”
“Young Master, no more hesitation. Use the Supreme Puppets now.”
“We capture Ethan.”
Her voice hardened with command.
A breath later—She turned into a streak of sapphire light.
While everyone else was still frozen in shock—
Iris was already charging toward Ethan.
Ethan, preparing to stabilize his breathing, sensed the incoming aura instantly.
Two figures sped toward him— The very two he had been careful not to provoke prematurely.
Iris. And Grey.
The woman moved like lightning, slicing through the air. Space cracked like shattered glass beneath her feet.
“You lose your patience THAT quickly?” Ethan muttered, face suddenly grim.
This woman’s aura… Even at Inferior Supreme Peak… She was far beyond Latham’s level.
But bringing Grey along—
That was strange.
At Mahayana, one would normally be a burden.
Unless…
Unless the young man had a trump card powerful enough to threaten even a Supreme.
At the same moment—
Latham reacted like lightning.
He vanished, turning into a streak of blue light that chased Iris immediately.
The two brothers from the Deepvale family didn’t block him.
Victor Ashenvale was dead.
Their employer was gone.
They had no reason to risk their lives against Latham now.
Peter Deepvale and Belle Thunderhall both retreated, returning to their respective groups to recover and stabilizing their spiritual energy.
Near another cliff—
“Commander Damion, that woman is moving again!”
Isolde Stonebridge frowned.
“Brother Jorath! Let’s move!”
Damion, clad in blue armor, roared and rushed forward.
Jorath Ashmount followed with a grim expression—Both charging toward Iris.
Simultaneously, Isolde sent a transmission to the Pavilion brothers:
“You two—this woman is holding a great treasure and has humiliated all our forces. We strike together. Let her understand that Skyreach Territory is no playground!”
River and Reed exchanged glances.
Then nodded.
They launched toward Iris with deadly intent.
From every direction, Powerful auras surged.
Iris felt them coming.
“Hmph. Like sticky candies—clingy and annoying.”
She sneered coldly.
“Young Master, Ethan is severely weakened. Use a Supreme Puppet and take him down. But be careful of his counterattack.”
Grey stiffened. “Let me… go alone?”
His expression paled.
He had just watched Ethan fight. Watched Ethan kill.
A Nirvana Seventh Turn… Slaughtering two Supreme experts.
That level of power
That level of monstrosity—
Was something that made even Grey’s heart tremble.
The shock lingered in his bones.
Such strength and combat power shocked him.
