Chapter 335: Chapter 335
“Otherwise…”

Ethan did not continue speaking, but the vague smile on his lips made the three kneeling figures tremble even harder.

“…”

Their teeth clenched. Their palms were cold. Shame and resentment churned in their chests—but none dared to voice a single word.

They were reluctant, unwilling, bitter…

But their lives were saved.

Their sect was saved.

That alone was enough.

“Understood.”

Alix’s voice was hoarse. Without hesitation, he raised his palm and slammed it directly onto his own dantian.

Pffft—!

A violent spray of blood burst from his lips. His aura collapsed like a broken dam, instantly falling to the very bottom.

His dantian was shattered.

He had crippled himself.

Shia and Houda’s faces twisted in pain, but neither dared delay even half a second. In the next breath—

Bang! Bang!

Two more dull strikes echoed through the clearing.

Two more mouthfuls of blood splattered onto the dirt.

Two more cultivations collapsed into nothingness.

Their bodies trembled uncontrollably, like leaves caught in a cold breeze, but they forced themselves to kneel upright.

“Keep an eye on these three people. I’ll go to the other side of the valley to have a look.”

Ethan flicked his wrist lazily, as though he had merely swatted away three flies instead of destroying three cultivators’ futures.

After handling this trivial matter, he set his hands behind his back and walked away.

But with each step he took, countless intricate formation nodes rippled beneath his feet.

In just moments, five powerful formations intertwined with one another, spreading outward like an invisible net that engulfed the entire mountain.

Unless a Supreme Realm powerhouse personally intervened, no one would be able to break through these layers of defenses.

After arranging everything, Ethan pushed off the ground lightly.

Whoosh!

His figure shot into the air, flying toward the center of the valley.

“Brother Ethan, wait for me!”

“And I!”

Magnus and Zeon rushed after him, their voices echoing anxiously behind him.

Ethan didn’t slow down. He simply nodded slightly, allowing the two to catch up.

The three of them soon arrived at the outskirts of the valley, standing atop the towering treetops.

Below them was the battlefield—silent, tense, and suffocating.

From here, they were incredibly close to the confrontation of several Supreme powerhouses. Even the air felt sharp enough to cut into their skin.

But countless cultivators still lingered around, hiding behind rocks, crouching in bushes, peering from branches.

All of them were here for the same reason—

To pick up scraps.

To steal anything they could.

Or… to hope the Supremes killed each other so they could snatch whatever remained.

At this moment, the two sides faced each other in a tense standoff.

On one side stood Iris.

Her long hair danced in the wind, frost swirling around her like a raging blizzard. Her icy aura distorted the air itself—cold, pure, and overwhelmingly oppressive.

Even Ethan frowned.

This level of ice power was far stronger than what she had displayed before.

Behind her, the young man and Seraphina were protected by a thick frost barrier, the sphere of ice shielding them completely.

On the opposite side—

Seven Supreme Realm powerhouses stood in unison.

Ethan narrowed his eyes. Two of them were unfamiliar to him.

One was a middle-aged man wearing a brown robe.

The other was a tall old man with long white hair draping over his shoulders.

Before Ethan could study them further, Iris’s cold voice cut through the air like a knife.

“It’s you?”

Her icy gaze swept directly toward him.

“Ethan, right?”

She naturally remembered the man who had competed with her for the stone slab. She had been paying attention to him since that day.

Ethan cupped his hands with a polite smile.

“I’m honored to be remembered by a Supreme realm expert here.”

“Ethan?!”

The expressions of the two unfamiliar Supreme powerhouses drastically changed.

The white-haired old man immediately stepped forward.

“You are Ethan? Then where are Karl Ashenvale and the others from my Ashenvale family?”

The middle-aged man followed quickly.

“And where is Skyler, from my Noble Sun City’s Lord’s Mansion?”

Ethan’s gaze swept across the two figures.

Ah.

So that was who they were.

Victor Ashenvale—the Supreme elder of the Ashenvale family, an Inferior Supreme.

And Galen—the City Lord of Noble Sun City, recently out of seclusion, aura marking a fresh breakthrough to the Supreme Realm.

Ethan shrugged lightly.

“The Ashenvale family… Noble Sun City lord mansion… I see.”

His tone held neither arrogance nor humility—just quiet amusement.

“You two are strong. Supreme realm experts. Not idiots.”

“You should already know the answer, now that you see me standing here.”

The implication was clear enough.

Only the ones who survived could stand here now.

“Impossible! Absolutely impossible!”

Victor Ashenvale’s wrinkled face twisted like a crushed chrysanthemum.

He refused to believe Ethan’s words.

Ethan was merely a physical cultivator who had just entered the first stage of Nirvana. No matter how strong he was, it shouldn’t be possible.

Karl Ashenvale was a Half-Step Supreme—an invincible existence below the true Supreme Realm.

Alongside him were two peak Ninth-Turn Mahayana experts, Noel Ashenvale and North Ashenvale.

Not to mention Skyler from the City Lord’s Mansion, two Ninth-Turn Mahayana cultivators, and two Eighth-Turn Mahayana cultivators.

With such a lineup, even a monster would die.

Even a genius would die.

Even an Ancient Holy Body would die.

Not even a Supreme Realm expert could casually ignore such a siege.

And yet Ethan—a Nirvana cultivator—claimed to have slaughtered them?

Victor’s mind refused to accept it.

Beside him, Galen, the City Lord, also scoffed.

He had thoroughly investigated Ethan.

A physical cultivator who barely defeated Alissa at the peak of the Dharma Body Realm—barely, and only because she was careless.

People claimed Ethan became invincible after entering Nirvana.

But Galen sneered inwardly.

Ignorance. All of them.

From the view of a true Supreme Realm master, Ethan’s cultivation and combat power were vastly overestimated.

A First-Turn Nirvana like Ethan could at best fight an ordinary Ninth-Turn Mahayana.

Against a peak Ninth-Turn Mahayana, he was no match.

Against a Half-Step Supreme?

He couldn’t last ten moves.

Let alone kill them.

Galen shook his head, looking at Ethan as if lecturing a child.

“I know young people like to compete and show off.”

“But with your level, escaping from the hands of the two Half-Step Supremes is simply a dream.”
