God-Tier Fishing System - Chapter 330
Chapter 330: Chapter 330
After devouring an ocean of killing intent, Ethan felt his own killing aura boiling inside him, thickening, darkening—evolving. The originally gray-black killing intent turned a deep blood-red, as if dyed by the wails of countless dead.
“The killing intent transforms the world.”
Ethan muttered softly. His mind moved, and the surging red killing intent condensed into a tiny crimson dot hovering before him.
The moment the dot stabilized—
Boom.
It expanded like a universe birthing itself.
A miniature world unfolded.
What appeared on the outside as a mere three-foot-wide crimson sphere was, inside, a terrifying blood-sea world with no visible end. Ethan stood suspended at the center of this killing intent world—a god reigning over an infernal ocean.
This was the sign of an intent cultivated to the level of world transformation.
From the outside, it was a harmless red orb.
Once enveloped—an endless hellscape.
“Killing intent really is a unique intent,” Ethan mused, surveying the swirling blood tides.
“Stronger than sword intent… stronger than fist intent… yet its essence remains the same.”
He thought of his other intent worlds: the fist world, the sword world and his strongest Scythe world.
“If I fuse all my intent worlds into one… a world that carries the nature of all of them… what kind of power would that be?”
The idea was tempting—too tempting.
But there was no time to attempt it now.
He exhaled slowly and dismissed the intent world. The sphere shrank into nothingness.
He still had work to do.
“Now’s not the time to cultivate,” Ethan murmured.
“I need to return to Noble Sun City and take Solara and Senior Sister Althea to collect whatever’s left.”
He lifted his palm.
Dozens of golden beams shot outward, blasting huge craters into the ground.
One by one, Ethan tossed the charred remains of Karl Ashenvale, Skyler, and the others into the pits. Flames burst forth, consuming the bodies until nothing but brittle bones remained.
He erected a small tombstone above each.
“The scenery here is beautiful. I hope you can sleep peacefully.”
His voice was cool, strangely gentle.
Then, flicking his wrist, he swept up every storage ring like plucking fruit from a tree.
Swoosh.
Phoenix wings unfurled.
Ethan rose into the sky in a golden streak and vanished.
Within a quarter hour, he descended upon Noble Sun City.
A message arrived through his communication token.
“Senior Brother Ethan, the fight is about to begin!”
It was Ashira.
Ethan snorted. “I finish one massacre and they’re still preparing.”
But it was expected.
Seraphina’s side was filled with powerful factions, complex alliances, and people too afraid to be the first to act.
Yet the fight was inevitable.
Ethan hurried to the Blood Tavern.
The moment he stepped inside—
“Dad!”
Solara barreled into him like a fluffy cannonball.
Ethan caught her and spun her around before lowering her gently. “Miss me?”
“Mm!” Solara nodded enthusiastically.
Althea approached with calm poise, though Ethan caught the subtle softness in her eyes.
“Is everything handled?” she asked.
“Just a small matter,” Ethan replied with a faint smile.
“All done.”
Althea exhaled in relief.
From the side, Rain observed the scene. Ethan… Althea… Solara… together, they looked like a harmonious little family.
Her blood boiled.
“Damn it!”
Rain clenched her fists, grinding her teeth hard enough to spark fire.
How is Althea beating me in everything?!
Her eyes burned with dangerous determination.
“Tonight… I’ll sneak into Ethan’s room!”
Rain nodded to herself as if she’d made the most righteous decision in her life.
Meanwhile, Ethan checked the fading orange glow in the eastern sky.
“It’s time. We should move.”
“Seraphina’s side?” Althea asked.
“Yes.” Ethan nodded.
“Then let’s go. I also want to see the strength of that mysterious Supreme expert.”
“Let’s move.”
With a single command, Ethan, Althea, and Solara shot into the sky, three streaks of light disappearing into the horizon.
Before leaving, Ethan turned toward Rain.
“Rain, aren’t you coming?”
“I’ll stay here and guard the tavern,” Rain said with a casual wave, her cheeks faintly flushed.
Ethan nodded. “Alright.”
When they left, Rain slumped over the counter, resting her chin in one hand, swirling a wine glass with the other.
Her red cheeks puffed slightly as she sighed dramatically.
“How do I seduce Brother Ethan…?”
She took a small sip of her drink, pondering in despair.
But then—
A deep, magnetic voice echoed behind her.
“The time is up. We can leave.”
Rain froze.
Her eyes widened.
Then her entire face lit up with unrestrained excitement.
“Brother! You’re finally back!”
“Yes,” the voice replied, steady and cold.
“I’m back.”
Before the voice even finished echoing—
A man materialized inside the Blood Tavern.
He wore pure white clothing… covered entirely in densely carved characters, all written in dark red—like blood.
Every step he took rippled with scarlet waves beneath his feet.
Sharp brows. Star-bright eyes. A cold, emotionless face. Long, glossy black hair cascading down like a waterfall.
His features were striking, refined, flawless.
And unmistakably similar to Rain’s.
“See the Sixth Guardian!”
Roan and the others collapsed to one knee in unison, bowing deeply.
The man’s gaze swept over them.
This—
This was the true master of the Blood Tavern in Skyreach Territory.
One of the Nine Guardians.
Rain’s older brother.
Asher — the Blood Marquis.
A man feared across the continent.
A man rumored to kill his rivals and carve the names of those he killed onto his clothes—staining them crimson.
Even Myriad Treasures Pavilion’s ancient monster, Talker Latham, could not match him.
That was how terrifying he was.
Rain held her position as tavern shopkeeper only because of him.
“No need for formalities among brothers,” Asher said calmly.
“Thank you, Guardian—”
Roan didn’t finish.
A chilling aura fell upon the tavern like a guillotine blade.
Asher frowned.
“I’ve warned you. Don’t be polite with me.”
His voice remained gentle—yet carried a death sentence underneath.
“If you salute me again… I’ll kill you.”
Roan and the others trembled violently and shut their mouths instantly.
They had only seen the Blood Marquis a few times.
But now they understood why everyone in the Blood Tavern feared him more than anyone else.
Only Rain shot forward eagerly.
“Brother, you’re finally back!”
She lunged toward him with open arms.
Asher calmly grabbed her face with one hand.
And pushed her away.
His expression didn’t change.
“Don’t.”
Rain’s body stiffened like a frozen chicken. Her arms dangled helplessly.
Her cheeks puffed up like steamed buns.
“(•́へ•́╬)!”
She flailed her arms and legs like a furious little beast.
“Asher, you don’t love me anymore!”
