Chapter 325: Chapter 325
Outside Noble Sun City, far to the south, the morning air was sharp and cool.

Iris’s eyes narrowed as the needle of the Heaven and Earth Compass trembled, then locked firmly in one direction.

“Outside Noble Sun City, to the south, the man carrying the Holy Grade Spiritual Technique is waiting there,” she said quietly.

“The compass points straight to him, which means he still has something related to the Original Dao Texts.”

Grey’s eyes brightened.

“You mean… the seller still has more pieces of the stone tablet?”

“Yes,” Iris replied.

“And that person is a Supreme Realm powerhouse.”

Grey sneered. “So he deliberately took out only one fragment to auction.”

“I suspected as much,” Iris said with a smile.

“He is fishing.”

Grey chuckled. “Young master is smart. He’s using the broken stone slab as bait to find people who understand the secret!”

Iris added, “Yes, but he made one mistake. He failed to figure out who is the fish… and who is holding the pole.”

Grey laughed, tipping back the last of the chicken soup and tofu in one gulp.

Just then, he paused and looked toward the city gate.

“The people from the Myriad Treasures Pavilion are here. Not just Manager Lana—there’s another Supreme with her.”

Iris stood, stretching her slender arms lazily.

“Good. The more people come, the better. We’ll deal with everything at once. Saves us the trouble of searching.”

“Come.” Grey rose as well.

He cast a glance at Seraphina.

She had barely eaten more than two sips of tofu soup and one steamed bun. Her expression was stiff, her appetite having just awakened before suddenly being cut short.

Grey didn’t care.

Seraphina quickly gathered the food behind her back and slipped it into her storage ring.

When they start fighting outside the city… I can eat while I watch.

If things became chaotic enough, she might even escape unnoticed.

They stepped outside without paying, prompting the shopkeeper to shout:

“Hey! No money!”

But none of the three looked back.

A flick of Seraphina’s fingers sent a high-grade spiritual stone flying behind her. The shopkeeper caught it and bit it.

“Ohhh… a high-grade one! Rich folk!”

He immediately forgot his complaints.

Iris, Grey, and Seraphina walked calmly out of Noble Sun City.

The moment they left the gate, they rose into the air, heading east in a streak of light.

Instantly, Noble Sun City erupted into organized chaos.

One figure after another lit up the sky—dozens, then hundreds of cultivators soared upward, following Iris and the others like a swarm of locusts chasing divine treasures.

At the same time, Ethan returned to the Blood Tavern and activated the scythe talisman.

“Ashira, just follow Seraphina. Don’t fight anyone.”

“Understood,” Ashira replied, then slipped out of the city quietly.

Inside the Blood Tavern, only Rain, Roan, and Raze remained at a table.

Zeon, Magnus, and the rest had already chased after the mysterious group.

Solara and Althea stood near the stairs when Ethan returned.

“Junior brother,” Althea said softly, “the mysterious group has already moved. Should we go?”

Ethan shook his head.

“Not yet. I have something to take care of first. Senior sister, you and Solara stay at the tavern.”

“What!? Dad, where are you going without me?” Solara darted forward.

Ethan flicked her forehead gently.

“Stay with your Aunt Althea. I’ll be quick.”

“Junior brother,” Althea called after him, “do you need help?”

“No need. I’ll handle it.”

Ethan jumped into the sky and shot east like a shooting star.

On the rooftop outside the tavern, Noel and North Ashenvale, who had been waiting days for this moment, watched him leave.

“This brat finally stopped hiding,” Noel growled.

North clenched his fists. “The Great Elder arrived last night. Big brother should’ve finished talking with Skyler by now. With the deputy city lord supporting us, Ethan won’t be able to escape even if he has wings!”

“Mm.”

Noel crushed a jade slip, alerting Karl Ashenvale.

He and North immediately took dozens of Ashenvale cultivators and pursued Ethan.

Ethan unfurled his phoenix wings, streaking across the sky like a blade of light.

He glanced behind him and saw the Ashenvale family followers trailing in a dense formation.

The corner of his lips curled upward.

Follow me. Follow me all the way to your deaths.

He swooped low, brushing past the treetops, then landed atop a blue stone peak.

He stood there, hands behind his back, waiting.

Moments later—

Swish! Swish! Swish!

Dozens of figures descended one after another.

Noel Ashenvale.

North Ashenvale.

Thirteen Mahayana experts—all above the sixth turn.

This was the might of one of the five great families of the Holy Land.

To kill Ethan, they had assembled nearly their entire elite force within Noble Sun City.

North Ashenvale folded his arms and sneered.

“Hahaha, Ethan, why aren’t you running? Out of breath?”

Noel stepped forward, sword in hand, pointing directly between Ethan’s eyebrows.

“You crippled my young master. You killed the Sixth Elder of the Ashenvale family. Did you really think hiding in the Blood Tavern would protect you forever?”

“Today,” Noel’s killing intent erupted violently, “without the Blood Tavern protecting you, you will die here!”

Ethan smiled faintly.

“Just you two? I remember there’s still Karl Ashenvale. He’s not here?”

North Ashenvale laughed coldly.

“So you know a lot.”

“You want to meet my eldest brother so badly? Hah. You won’t live that long.”

His voice dropped to a deadly whisper.

“You should be thinking about whether you prepared your own coffin.”

North glanced around, nodding in satisfaction at the scenery.

“Not bad. You even picked your burial ground in advance.”

He smirked.

“I heard you rushed up the Heaven’s Prodigy List—first, second, whatever it was.”

He cracked his knuckles.

“Great. Then it’ll be my pleasure to bury a genius like you and avenge the Sixth Elder and the Young Master.”

As he finished speaking, North Ashenvale’s expression suddenly twisted in rage—

His face contorted, teeth grinding, as if he wanted to tear Ethan apart on the spot.
