Chapter 317: Chapter 317
Sitting on the long stone steps beneath the private boxes were three people wrapped in deep cloaks, their faces obscured, their presence quiet and unremarkable—at least to ordinary eyes.

Rain narrowed her gaze. “Those three.”

Zeon followed her line of sight, popping another grape into his mouth.

“Is it weird?” he muttered dismissively.

“Isn’t it just a Tribulation Transcendence cultivator, a Mahayana cultivator, and one… with such an ordinary aura?”

But as his eyes fell on Iris, something prickled at the back of his mind.

He focused.

He felt nothing.

“Strange. Why can’t I sense anything? Could it be…?”

A faint golden glow flashed in his pupils as he activated his secret method to spy further—

“Stop.”

Ethan’s voice cut across the box like a blade, sharp and decisive.

The very next second, Iris turned her head.

Her gaze, hidden beneath the brim of her cloak, swept through the surrounding tiers like a cold breeze searching for prey—pausing briefly on their box before withdrawing.

Zeon immediately dispelled his technique, leaned back lazily, and resumed eating grapes as if the world had nothing to do with him.

Grey leaned slightly toward Iris. “Aunt Iris, what happened?”

“Nothing,” Iris replied softly. “I simply sensed someone trying to explore me.”

Grey chuckled, amused rather than alarmed.

“There are plenty here who don’t value their lives. But aside from someone in the Supreme Realm, who among these ants could possibly see through you?”

Ethan lowered the curtain fully and activated the protective barrier around the box, isolating them from outside perception.

Zeon finally exhaled, wiping an anxious bead of sweat from his neck.

“Holy crap. That woman is definitely a Supreme Realm powerhouse!” He patted his chest.

“Thank heavens Brother Ethan stopped me in time, or she would have noticed me probing.”

Magnus snorted coldly.

“We told you to be low-key. Even I could sense your secret technique leaking.”

Zeon glared. “Big guy, are you mocking me, I wasn’t caught?”

Magnus’ grip tightened on his teacup. “So what if you weren’t caught? You still nearly exposed us.”

Zeon huffed, folding his arms.

“And yet, I pulled back in time. That means I’m skilled.”

Magnus’ teacup gave a threatening crack. Rain quickly raised her hand.

“Enough. Don’t fight. Skyreach Territory is vast; it’s normal for hidden Supremes to pass through. Be careful. If one marks you, things will turn ugly fast.”

Ethan reopened a sliver of the curtain, glanced once more at Seraphina and the mysterious pair beside her, then withdrew his gaze calmly.

“Onyx Orchid,” he asked silently, “can you see anything?”

“What can be seen from afar?” Onyx Orchid sneered.

“Go capture her alive, squeeze answers out of her, and everything becomes clear!”

Ethan’s mouth twitched.

“You think I’ve lived too long?”

Before the conversation could continue, footsteps echoed across the arena floor.

Lana entered from the rear passage, her purple dress shimmering under the crystal chandeliers. A hush spread through the venue.

“My apologies for keeping everyone waiting,” she said, smiling with composed grace.

“The treasure is too precious, and preparation required time.”

All eyes sharpened.

“Now,” Lana announced, lifting her hand, “the Talker of Myriad Treasures Pavilion in Skyreach Territory will personally present the rare treasure you have all been waiting for!”

Her arm extended in a gesture of invitation.

The space itself trembled.

A streak of white light condensed downward—rippling like a falling star—before solidifying into the form of a tall middle-aged man in a blue robe, standing at the center of the stone platform.

His facial features were sharp and imposing.

His eyes were deep as an ancient abyss.

His presence alone commanded silence—heavy, regal, oppressive.

The hall gasped.

“What treasure needs the Talker himself to reveal!?”

“That’s Latham!”

“The Talker of Myriad Treasures Pavilion—rumored to be a Supreme!”

“Not just any Supreme—an Intermediate Supreme!”

“Since Talker Latham appeared, the treasure must be extraordinary—maybe it really is the rumored treasure related to breaking through to the Supreme Realm!”

Ripples of excitement, reverence, and hunger surged through the crowd, each whisper sharpening the air.

Below, Iris narrowed her eyes.

“Is this person at the peak of the Intermediate Supreme?” she murmured.

Grey stiffened.

“The peak of Intermediate Supreme… in this land?”

Iris spoke quietly, but with certainty.

“His realm is indeed Intermediate Supreme peak, but his aura does not match. His true combat power is greatly limited—comparable to our Inferior Supreme peak in Luminous Continent.”

Grey blinked in surprise.

“So he’s a pseudo-supreme?”

He looked again, disbelief in his voice.

“These cultivators are in the same realm, but their aura is so much weaker.”

Iris nodded.

“There is a record in our clan’s ancient texts. Oceanreach Continent is bound by restrictions. Cultivators from other continents cannot easily cross the sea to reach this land.”

“Without the Emperor’s artifact—the Compass of Heaven and Earth—we could never have come.”

“Because of the restrictions, realm depth differs. If ours is level A, the cultivators here are only level C.”

“The suppression you feel is caused by those restrictions. But it does not affect us much. With my current strength, I can easily defeat any Intermediate Supreme here.”

She was a peak Inferior-level Supreme—one step away from the Intermediate level.

But that one step could take ten years… thirty… fifty… even a hundred.

She studied Latham again with calm superiority.

“If he were in Luminous Continent, I would not be his opponent. But here… his depth is shallow. I can defeat him.”

Grey smirked.

“As expected. The spiritual energy of this land are thin and incomplete.”

Then he leaned forward slightly, eyes glittering.

“I’m curious to see what treasure this barbarian pavilion can produce to help break through to the Supreme Realm.”

In Ethan’s box—

Zeon slapped the railing.

“Why is he standing there posing!? Hurry up and show the treasure!”

Rain chuckled softly.

“Patience. The finale must be dramatic.”

Magnus leaned forward, expression solemn.

Roan held his breath..

Solara nibbled fruit with sparkling eyes.

Althea sat poised, calm but curious.

Ethan crossed his arms.

His gaze fixed on the man below—

Talker Latham, the same man who had casually suppressed Gilbert before.

Now, before thousands, the truth was undeniable.

As expected, he is a powerful person in the Supreme Realm, with such an extraordinary aura.
