Chapter 174: Ch 174 : The Parade of the Cosmic Empire
The Arena of Epiphany was a universe unto itself, a cosmic coliseum where six billion Gods sat in high thrones and quadrillions of lifeforms held their collective breath.

The live chat, a river of messages, connecting every soul in the 6 billion worlds, was a best way to earn faith, as another 5 trillion faith was produced by them by looking at these DemiGods.

Lifeform125312: “One… two… three… four… Two hundred and sixty-six demigods. Am I even counting that right? What am I witnessing?” The message was a trembling whisper that echoed the thoughts of trillions who were seeing the true might of their Emperor for the first time.

Lifeform17 : “What you are witnessing is the greatness of God Cosmos. And trust me, you will be even more surprised when you see the mortal champions of Veridia.” The reply was filled with a fierce, unshakable pride that only those from the heart of the empire could possess.

Lifeform27277 : “Are you from Veridia? We only got this system a few years ago, but the technology and magic we’ve seen from your world… it has changed everything for us. I’m inspired.”

The chat buzzed with this newfound sense of connection, a universe of strangers united by a single, spectacular event.

The lifeforms of the Veridia could watch this live, because their time flow was synchronized with the arena by Sunny, a gift of shared experience that was as profound as any blessing.

On the highest tier, the Gods themselves were having their own conversation.

“Boss, I knew you had many demigods, but… this many?” Zir asked, his voice a mix of awe and playful accusation. “Are you secretly farming faith from another multiverse somewhere?” He was oblivious to the fact that the six billion Gods surrounding him were the very farm he was talking about.

“It’s nothing,” Sunny said, masterfully evading the subject. He gestured to the vast arena below. “Hurry up and choose your champions. After that, I will let you meet our referee for this tournament.”

“A referee?” a God asked, his curiosity piqued. “Who could possibly be worthy of refereeing a contest of this scale? Another demigod? Thea herself?”

Sunny just grinned, a gesture of showmanship, and waved his hand, signaling them to make their choices.

One by one, the Gods selected their champions, they arrived one after one. But Sunny just waited for all to come.

After every God was done, ‘its time’ sunny thought, And then, the grand parade of the champions of Veridia, the heart of the empire, began.

First came the humans, marching in perfect, disciplined formation, their weapons gleeming in the sunlight.

At their head was King Anaske, his presence a quiet mountain of pure, contained strength.

He was a top-tier S-Grade Body Refiner, a single, final step away from the demigod realm, his every movement a display of absolute control.

Behind him marched nine of the human kingdom’s greatest heroes, each radiating the powerful, unwavering aura of a peak S-Grade warrior. They were the bedrock of the Cosmic Empire, its unyielding shield.

They were followed by a procession of shimmering, ethereal light. The elves entered, led by their wise king, Vel, a master S-Grade mage whose body was surrounded by the faint, multi-colored energy of the hundreds of elemental spirits bound to his will.

But it was the five figures out of the nine elves behind him that drew gasps from the knowledgeable lifeforms of Veridia.

They were the Ancestors, ancient elves from a centuries ago, their delicate, gazelle-like horns a mark of their primordial lineage.

Once withering at the end of their long lives, they had been blessed by their demigod and forged into pillars of the elven race by the power of Divine Growth.

They were living history, a testament to the Sunny’s grace. Even Sunny felt a flicker of nostalgia seeing them.

Then, the very arena began to tremble. The titans entered, their leader Atlas at the front, each step a minor earthquake.

Their bodies, already colossal when they first arrived on Veridia, had continued to grow under the influence of the world’s rich mana, each one now a walking mountain of living flesh and stone.

They were followed in a grand parade by the other founding races of Veridia: the fierce orcs led by the warchief Thrak; the mighty giants led by Hafthor; the beastfolk led by Leonis; the Machina led by Alpha-Prime; the inventive dwarves led by Jasper; and the ethereal fairies and pixies, led by Eira and Lyra.

They were followed by Cassandra from the seer race created by Isiah, Thanatos from the Grim reaper race created by Cerberus, Seraphina from the angels and Brynhildr from the Valkyries.

The merfolk, led by Queen Thalassa, appeared in a massive, floating sphere of summoned ocean water, a breathtaking display of magical control.

‘Now it’s time for the aura farmers… I mean, the protectors,’ Sunny thought with an internal smirk.

The atmosphere in the arena shifted, a palpable change that silenced the murmuring crowds.

A wave of pure, draconic pressure washed over every soul, a power earned through thousands of brutal, life-or-death battles.

Ten figures, covered in black, obsidian-like scales, marched in perfect, lethal unison, their fiery eyes burning with an unshakeable resolve.

At their head was Thalorax. They were the Dragonborn, the Protectors of Veridia.

The lifeforms of Veridia cheered for their guardians, while the beings from other worlds cheered for the sheer, terrifying majesty of the creatures before them.

They were followed by the ten champions of the Gorgon race, led by a powerful S-Grade warrior named Lamia, their serpentine movements both beautiful and deadly, their gazes promising a swift, stony end to any who would oppose them.

‘Two races left,’ Sunny thought, a thrill of anticipation running through him. ‘These two will cause the most stir.’

As if on cue, the joyous cheers faltered, then died completely.

A sudden, heavy gloom fell over the arena, a chill that had nothing to do with the temperature.

The space at the entrance to the stands seemed to darken, and from a tear in the void, ten beings walked through.

Their bodies were the size of humans and elves, but their eyes were pure, solid black, and from their brows grew a pair of sharp, demonic horns.

A wave of confusion, revulsion, and fear washed over the audience.

Demons. The embodiment of evil. The eternal enemy. They had been raised on stories of demonic slaughter, their worlds scarred by their invasions.

And yet, here they were, marching under the banner of the Emperor, their expressions not of malice, but of quiet, unshakeable resolve.

These were The Unchained, the demonic races who had surrendered to Sunny’s rule, their wills now free from the corrupting influence of the Demon Lords.

At their head was Maverick, the first of their kind born on Veridia, a favorite of the demigod Diablo. The audience could not comprehend what they were seeing.

But the greatest shock was yet to come.

As the Unchained took their place, the very fabric of the Arena of Epiphany began to scream.

The sky, a moment ago a brilliant spectacle that was filled with clear clouds and blue sky, cracked like black glass.

The ground split open, not with simple fissures, but with deep, wounds that wept untamed chaos.

The heavens spewed fire and cast down bolts of raw, primordial thunder.

From the broken space, ten pairs of eyes peered the souls of every lifeform watching the tournament.
