Chapter 1011: Vanished
Shane may have been surprised by this desperate move, but he was not out of moves…
Using his Tension Control Skill, he easily turned from his position, and his hands were soon filled with glowing energy…
It was his Force Breaker being activated!
[ Force Breaker Lv10: A potent attack that lets the user shatter defenses with a single, powerful strike. Force Breaker grants the user increased momentum and…
…
Cost: 30 Spirit Points per cast ]
Since this ability has no cooldown and only costs a small amount of Spirit Points, Shane easily shattered the dagger’s guard in a single strike.
Hanzo was then thrown into the rubble, with his weapon broken… No, his body was too drained to rise again. Of course, Shane made sure not to destroy the blade itself since he planned to take it later.
It was the same for Kresh’s Axe… Shane intercepted it with lightning from Heaven’s Wrath that was still crackling across the battlefield as it ate up his stamina.
The axe was soon thrown away, and Kresh collapsed with his vitality drained beyond recovery.
The archers loosed their last arrows with fire and ice, and they should be more than enough to kill a High-Tier Zombie. However, Shane just advanced through them, with his regeneration sealing every wound that comes to him.
With Predator’s Edge, he blurred into the shadows, reappearing behind the backline.
A single sweep of his hand tore through their formation, scattering them like leaves in the wind.
Bismarck’s third eye blazed desperately, telekinetic waves hurling debris in a final attempt to restrain him. But Shane’s Tyrant body endured, shrugging off the psychic force.
His defense was simply too strong…
He charged forward, piercing Bismarck’s defenses. It was subtle, but Shane just used Armored Dash!
As he pierced Bismarck’s body, the halberd fell from his grasp! The commander of the Night Raiders collapsed, his aura extinguished.
Of course, Shane saw the notification confirming the death of the Survivor but he didn’t care about it for now. He still had to deal with the remaining members of this group!
In just a few moments, with their leader eliminated, silence fell over the ruins. The Night Raiders lay defeated, with their Legendary weapons, broken or not, scattered across the battlefield.
Shane stood amidst the carnage he had left behind…
Then, he confirmed through various rats of Fiona that there weren’t any other observers, survivors, familiars, around that could be watching his movements…
After hearing that, he felt a lot more at ease.
After resting for a bit, he checked his notifications…
[ You have eliminated a Survivor with more than 8,000 Reputation Points. ]
[ You have eliminated a Survivor with more than 8,000 Reputation Points. ]
…
[ You have eliminated a Survivor with more than 8,000 Reputation Points. ]
“Whoa~ Seven of them has more than 8K points!” Shane muttered as he realized that his infamy would grow once again.
[ Do you want to retrieve the loot? ]
“Yes.”
The system responded instantly.
[ You have earned 5,500 Experience Points. ]
[ You have earned 6,120 Reputation Points. ]
[ Loots obtained: Item Upgrade Crystal x12, Spirit Core Fragment x3, Doomfang Halberd (Legendary), Commander’s Mantle x1, Psychic Ward Amulet x1, Bone‑Carved Gauntlets x1, Telekinetic Storm Skill, Soul Rend Skill, Aura Suppression Skill, Spirit Shackles Skill, Third Eye Talent (Epic), Tactical Instinct Talent (Exceptional), Iron Command Talent (Master), Talent Expansion Scroll x1, Skill Fusion Scroll x1 ]
[ You have reached the limit of Survivor Talents. Third Eye Talent, Tactical Instinct Talent, and Iron Command Talent were not added. ]
[ Do you want to remove one of your current Survivor Talents to accommodate another Talent? ]
“Nice… Since I’m getting half of their Reputation Points, it means that this guy had over 12,000…” Shane muttered as he focused on the RP first.
Shane then looked at the Third-Eye Talent.. He wasn’t unfamiliar with this talent. He had previously obtained one from the Ogre, the Two-Headed Abomination.
He initially thought that there wouldn’t be many people who would want such talent that would alter their physique heavily. However, considering the power they could have with that Third-Eye, it seemed really amazing.
If Bismarck had been able to exploit it even more, it would’ve been a really dangerous battle.
Thankfully, his defense and various items were more than enough to block its attacks and its ability to control his mind.
Still, Shane wouldn’t accept the Third-Eye Talent. This was the reason why he dared not use his Talent Expansion Scroll preemptively. After all, if you have a free slot, the talent he looted would automatically be accepted as the next talent… It means that he could’ve seen himself having two heads, four arms, or three eyes if he kept a slot open.
Still, Shane actually liked the skills he got. This was especially true for the Soul Rend and the Aura Suppression.
Well, the reason he was unaffected by the Soul Rend skill was because of his Mythic Item that he had obtained in the Fairy Realm… It was his Soulbound Item – Ring of Dusk and Dawn.
He didn’t have many Ring Accessories, but this one ring was more than enough.
After that, he quickly checked the skills he had.

Cost: 8 Spirit Points per second ]
Soon, Shane also checked the other notifications he got. He decided to dismiss the Talent acquisition for now as he wanted to check the other Survivors if he’d get something better or not.
Of course, he first checked the Survivors who had more than 4,000 Reputation Points and gave an increase in his infamy…
Those without many Reputation Points probably have bad skills and talents anyway.
[ Do you want to retrieve the loot? ]
Shane got another notification as he looted the guy called Hanzo…
“Yes.”
The system responded instantly.

[ Do you want to remove one of your current Survivor Talents to accommodate another Talent? ]
“Hmm… These skills and talents aren’t that bad at all.” Shane mused as he actually liked the Venom Infusion Skill and the mysterious Shadowborn Talent…

In the meantime, far away from the collapsed fortress, Lancelot sat in the command chamber of the Overlord Clan’s stronghold.
His face was grim as he reviewed the last reports that had come in from the Night Raiders.
They had fought Bonehorn the Ravager, a Zombie Lord, and three Kings. Against all odds, they had won. The report had been clear…
But then, they reported to their coordinators that they had encountered a Tyrant Zombie unlike any ever recorded, one with incredible intelligence and skills…
After that was silence.
No matter what the coordinator tried, there were no further messages. No updates.
Then, when Lancelot checked the Clan Members list, his blood ran cold.
The names of the Night Raiders had vanished.
That could only mean two things: either they had defected to another clan, or they had died.
But defection was impossible!
Bismarck was literally his brother… The one who told him to select Zombie Outbreak instead of Alien Invasion… He would never abandon the Overlord Clan!
