Chapter 375: Chapter 375 – Wrong Room, Right Morning
Atlas was half-asleep, his eyelids heavy. It felt like the deepest, most peaceful sleep he’d had in weeks. But… something felt strange.

“It’s so cute… it looks so tender, I want to eat it. Uhm…”

A woman’s voice reached his ears. Soft, playful, and close.

Too close.

Atlas’s eyes snapped open, and he flinched slightly. Someone was lying right beside him.

A woman, her crimson hair falling across her face, her breathing calm and steady in sleep.

Atlas jolted upright, pushing the blanket off his body. He wasn’t wearing a shirt, but thankfully he still had his pants on.

“Sera?” he muttered in confusion.

What was she doing in his room?

Serenith was there, fast asleep beside him, wearing only a tight-fitting sleep shirt and short pants.

“I like the meat… it’s so big…” she mumbled in her sleep, her voice hazy and innocent as she shifted and stretched slightly.

“Sera… how did you get into my room?”

At that moment, Serenith stirred awake, blinking her eyes open. When she turned toward him and realized where she was, her face froze in shock.

“My lord!” she gasped, bolting upright and instinctively checking herself, as if to make sure she was still fully dressed.

“Why do you look so surprised?” Atlas asked flatly, his expression unreadable.

Serenith lifted her head, her face flushing. “My lord, you suddenly appeared in my bed! Why didn’t you say something first instead of sneaking in like this?”

Atlas sighed and pressed a finger against her forehead, pushing her back slightly.

“Are you drunk or what? This is my room,” he said firmly.

But then… he paused.

He looked around the room properly for the first time. The walls were soft pink, the curtains sheer and frilly, and every piece of furniture was delicately decorated with ornaments and trinkets he’d never seen before.

“Wait…” Atlas said slowly, eyes narrowing. “Why is everything pink? I don’t recognize any of this.”

He turned sharply toward Serenith.

“How the hell did I end up sleeping in your room?”

Serenith suddenly burst into laughter, lowering her head as she tried to hold it in. Then she lifted her face again, her expression bright with amusement as she lightly smacked Atlas’s knee.

“My lord, you sneaked into my room and now you’re pretending not to remember.”

Then she paused, eyes widening slightly. “My lord, please tell me… nothing inappropriate happened last night, right?”

The realization of her own words hit her a second later, and her face turned crimson. She covered her mouth with both hands, gasping.

“No… My first time has been taken!”

Atlas sighed and pressed his finger to her forehead again. “I didn’t do anything. Stop making things up,” he said flatly.

Truthfully, he didn’t remember how he’d ended up there. But he was pretty sure nothing had happened. At least, he hoped so.

Then came a sharp knock on the door.

“Yes…” Atlas answered automatically.

Why was he responding? This was Serenith’s room.

“My lord, it’s time to supply mana for the egg,” came Edrik’s calm voice from outside.

How the hell did Edrik know he was here?

“Atlas isn’t here. Come back later,” Atlas said quickly.

But before he could say anything else, the door opened.

Edrik stood there, perfectly composed in his usual crisp black suit, his face as unreadable as ever. He gave a short, respectful bow before speaking.

“Permission to enter,” he said evenly.

“You just barged into Sera’s room. Where are your manners, Edrik?”

“No, my lord,” Edrik replied calmly. “I merely needed to ensure that Sera was safe. Now that I see it’s you here instead… I can rest easy.”

Shut up, Atlas thought grimly, his expression twitching.

Edrik walked in with his usual unreadable expression, his steps quiet and precise. Serenith immediately pulled the blanket up to her chest, covering herself even though she was still fully dressed.

“Stop acting like you’re not wearing anything,” Atlas said dryly, sliding off the bed and sitting on its edge.

Edrik dragged a small table closer and placed a thick mat on top. From his dimensional storage, he retrieved the egg, which shimmered faintly as it appeared in the air before settling gently on the surface.

“The room doesn’t get much sunlight,” Edrik said in his calm tone. “It’s easy to lose track of time when you’re resting here. Still, it’s already midday, my lord.”

“Really? I didn’t notice,” Atlas said, rubbing his eyes.

He must have been completely drained. After all, the day before, he’d spent hours jumping from extreme heights down to the floating island below. Over and over again.

How many times had it been? He’d lost count.

He had been pushing himself to the limit, hoping the exhaustion would trigger a breakthrough and help him unlock a powerful new skill. But in the end, nothing had happened.

“I hope your rest was at least satisfying,” Edrik said in that same even tone.

Serenith’s cheeks flushed slightly.

She had been there yesterday, watching over Atlas while he trained recklessly.

Atlas frowned faintly, trying to recall what had happened after that. If he remembered correctly, he’d asked Edrik to help him back to his room once he could barely stand.

But… Atlas distinctly remembered entering his own room.

So why on earth had he woken up in Serenith’s bed?

Edrik bowed slightly, noticing the curious look on Atlas’s face. “Last night,” he began calmly, “you requested to enter this room, my lord.”

“So, you were the one who brought me here!”

“I only escorted you past this room,” Edrik replied. “You were the one who stepped inside on your own.”

“Oh!” Serenith exclaimed, her eyes lighting up. “So Lord Atlas did come in here by his own will?” she said, giggling softly.

Without warning, she darted forward and wrapped her arms around Atlas’s arm, pressing against him with a bright smile. “I’m so happy!”

Then she froze, suddenly realizing what she was doing. Her face turned red, and she gasped.

“So it’s true… My first time has been taken!”

Atlas sighed heavily and, for the third time that morning, poked her forehead with his finger.

“Nothing happened. Stop imagining things,” he said.

He pulled his arm free and walked over to the table where the egg rested.

“How will we know when this thing is going to hatch?” he asked while placing his hand gently on its surface.

As he began channeling his mana into it, he felt how drained he still was. His body ached from the brutal training of the previous day, and his reserves were running low.

Still, he forced his mana to flow, and soon a faint current of energy streamed into the egg’s shell.

Sparks of light and thin arcs of electricity began to flicker across its surface as the energy connected.

“We’ll know the exact moment it happens,” Edrik explained calmly. “It will crack on its own and reveal what’s inside.”

Until… Atlas tilted his head in confusion. The egg had suddenly stopped responding to his mana.

“The egg,” he said, glancing toward Edrik. “It’s not reacting to my mana anymore. Did I do something wrong?”

Edrik cleared his throat softly before answering. “The egg needs a mother, my lord.”

“Mother?!” Atlas repeated. “What do you mean by mother?!”
