449: The Wedding Vow 449: The Wedding Vow The guests sat in neat rows beneath a breathtaking white floral arch, made of white roses, lilies, and orchids, with soft drapes blowing gently in the wind.

An emotional and serene orchestral music drifted across the beach, filling the atmosphere with love.

Henry stood at the altar, dressed in a sleek all-white tuxedo that blended perfectly with the breathtaking surroundings.

His neatly styled hair was slightly tousled by the sea breeze, making him look even more effortlessly handsome.

Blaze stood behind him, filling the dual position of both the best man and the unmovable watchdog, ensuring everything ran smoothly.

Though slightly nervous with trembling hands, Henry’s smile didn’t falter.

His heart throbbed with every passing second as he waited for the arrival of his beautiful bride.

As the music swelled with a popular wedding tune, announcing the arrival of the bride, everyone rose to their feet.

At the sight of his beautiful bride, Henry’s breath hitched in awe.

Sarah stepped onto the sandy rose-petal-sprinkled aisle, escorted by her father, who held her right hand, and her mother, who followed behind.

Amelia, Annabelle, Stacy and the bridal train €“all dressed in long flowing white dresses that danced with the ocean breeze€“ followed behind the bride.

From a distance, Sarah looked like a dream sculpted into reality.

The way her gown shimmered beneath the setting sun, catching every ray of gold felt as though the light itself adored her.

It captured her pretty face behind the transparent veil, highlighting her serene smile and the tears sparkling in her eyes.

In that moment, everything else vanished from Henry’s sight.

He forgot the crowd, the emotional music and even the gentle waves crashing on the seashore.

He even forgot to breathe.

All he saw was her…the woman of his dream€“ moving toward him like a fairytale princess about to cast a magic spell over his world.

Both their eyes locked as if they were the only two people left in the entire universe.

“God…” He whispered, tears falling down his cheeks.

“She’s so… beautiful.” When Hillary came before Henry, still holding Sarah’s hand close to his chest, Henry forced himself to blink through the wave of emotions washing over him.

“Take care of my princess, Henry,” Hillary said softly, his voice thick with fatherly pride.

“And never stop loving her… not even for a second.” Henry nodded, unable to look away from Sarah.

“I will, Father, until my dying breath.” With reverence, he accepted her hand from her father, their fingers interlocking as if they were an identical pair.

Slowly, the couple turned toward the priest, their heart beating as one.

The murmurs quieted, the music softened, and everyone settled into their seats.

“Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today..,” The priest began, his voice warm and steady.

“…to witness the joining of these two beautiful souls, Henry Gordon and Sarah Hunt, in holy matrimony.” Henry tightened his hold on Sarah’s hand, and Sarah’s fingers trembled slightly as they also tightened around his.

“Marriage,” The priest continued, “is a sacred covenant… a promise of love, trust, and companionship.

It is not entered into lightly, but with deep understanding, mutual respect, and unwavering commitment.” The priest looked at the couple with a gentle smile.

“When I look at you two, I see God’s boundless grace and unconditional love.

I have been privileged to listen to your story and one thing I learnt from your trial is that love will always prevail.” A tear drop slid down Sarah’s flushed cheeks as she tilted her head slightly sideways to look at Henry, who was also staring at her, his captivating blue eyes swallowing her whole.

“Today, you two stand before God…” The priest said softly.

“…before your families, and before all who love you… ready to take the oath that binds your lives together as one forever.” Sarah’s eyes glistened and Henry swallowed hard, fighting another surge of emotion.

“So I ask…” The priest looked up at the seated audience.

If there is anyone here who believes these two should not be joined in holy matrimony, let him or her speak now or forever hold their silence.” A deafening hush fell across the guests, and the priests nodded in satisfaction, his eyes tilting back to the couple as he continued the marriage rituals.

“Henry, Sarah… in a moment, you will exchange your handwritten vows that will forever mark the start of your journey as husband and wife.

But before you say them, I ask you each this; do you come here freely and wholeheartedly to give yourselves to one another?” “Yes I do,” Henry said, his voice husky with emotion.

“Yes, I do.” Sarah smiled through her steaming tears, her body trembling slightly as the thought of Sebastian crossed her mind.

“Now turn to one another and take your vows.” The priest encouraged them calmly.

Henry turned to Sarah, holding her two hands and squeezing them gently, his voice quivering with emotion as he said, “Sarah, my love, my life, my air and my peace…I may not remember our past, but my heart remembers you.

It chose you before I even knew your name… and it chooses you now, more than ever, with complete devotion.

I promise to spend the rest of my life protecting you, cherishing you, and loving you with every breath I have.” Sarah blinked rapidly, her tears falling freely.

“I survived the darkest days of my life because somewhere in me, I believed you were still alive.

And today, before our family friends and God, I, Henry Gordon, vow to love you with everything I am… and everything I will ever be.” Guests sniffled softly while Judith sobbed openly into Hillary’s shoulder.

“Henry…” Sarah’s voice shook with emotion, her blinding tears blurring her vision.

“…my heart, my strength, and my soul mate.” She whispered, her voice trembling as her fingers tightened around his.

“When I lost you… I lost myself.

I walked through every day feeling like the world had stolen the part of me that made life worth living.

But even then… even in the emptiness and coldness… I felt you.

I carried you in every breath, in every prayer, in every silent night where I begged God for just one miracle.” Her lips quivered as she held his gaze.

“You were gone, yet somehow… You were the only thing keeping me alive.

And now €“standing here before you €“ I realize that my heart never stopped loving you.

It never even paused for a millisecond.

It waited for you.

It hoped for you.

It fought for you, even when I had no strength left to fight.” She lifted one shaky hand to his cheek, her thumb brushing away a tear that had escaped his eye.

“You are the answer to all my prayers.

You are the calm to my storms.

You are the reason I smile, the reason I breathe and the reason I am me.

Today, I vow before God and everyone seated that I will love you fiercely, faithfully, and always.

I vow to make up for every moment we lost, to stand beside you in every joy and every hardship, and to hold your heart as gently as you hold mine.” A soft sob escaped her as her voice broke.

“I choose you, Henry.

In this life… and in every life to come.

And no matter what tries to separate us again, my soul will always find yours.” She drew in a shuddering breath, her forehead gently touching his.

“This… is my eternal vow to you.” The priest beamed as he raised his hands in the air.

“By the power vested in me… I now pronounce you husband and wife.” He smiled widened as he said, “Henry… you may now kiss your bride.” Henry didn’t wait for a heartbeat as he cupped Sarah’s face and kissed her passionately like a man claiming the love destiny tried and failed to steal from him.

Cheers erupted across the beach, followed by brilliant fireworks lighting up the skies, with white rose petals falling down on the couple like snow.
