Chapter 477: Ascendant Gacha Draw
Hearing Orion’s words, Lumi became speechless,
[…]
Orion heaved a sigh and said, “Alright I know we were busy and you forgot, now you can issue the rewards for them.”
If Lumi had a face she would be blushing from embarrassment right now,
[Cough, here Master. (//ω//)]
[Ding!]
[Three Ascendant Gacha Draw Acquired!]
Orion looked at them with satisfaction before his face turned serious, “Now, the question is, would Nyss’s bad luck affect the Ascendant Gacha Draw?”
[I-It shouldn’t right? Her bad luck can’t be that exaggerated.]
He took a deep breath, “Alright we will know after pulling one Gacha draw. If it’s bad then I will save the other two gacha draws for another time. If it’s good then we continue.”
Lumi agreed with his thought process,
[That sounds like a plan. Should I draw the gacha now?]
“Yes.” Orion gave a precise reply.
Lumi, despite being a little nervous about the outcome, didn’t forget to turn on the gacha bgm. And then a mysterious melody began to play, creating suspense for the result.
The system screen flashed as the gacha draw started. Orion looked at it seriously until a result was out.
[Ding!]
[Congratulations Host for getting ‘One Way Teleporting Token for Shura Hell’.]
Orion: “…”
Lumi: […]
Both of them speechlessly looked at the result of the draw.
Orion even had the urge to curse out loud. Was the system deliberately trying to kill him? Or did it think he had lived long enough?
He took a deep breath to control his emotions, “Looks like we are not fated to draw the other two gacha draws today.”
Lumi also hesitatingly replied,
[R-Right? I-I don’t think it’s a good idea to do that as well.]
He exhaled a tired sigh and lay back down on the bed, “Sigh, show me the detail of that token.”
[One Way Teleporting Token for Shura Hell]
[Details: Host can use the token to directly teleport to the projection world named Shura Hell in the current Chiliocosm.]
He raised an eyebrow, “Yeah no shit. I could get that much from the name. Hmm what’s that projection world Shura Hell? Lumi is there any detail on it?”
Lumi quickly replied,
[Yes Master. The Token came with a brief description of it.]
[Projection World: Shura Hell — It is a projection of a higher world in the Small Chiliocosm. Beings in it have no standard cultivation. The thing they cultivate is Slaughter Intent or Killing Intent. The more they kill, the stronger they can become. This particular projection world Shura Hell has a cultivation limit of Paragon Grade. After reaching Paragon Grade in that world, the person will be teleported back to their original world. The tokens for entry are spread throughout the myriad worlds and the lucky ones can encounter them. The cultivation speed is top notch in that world. Even commoners without cultivation can become Exalted Grade beings in months or even weeks as long as they slaughter enough beings…]
It had a lot more detail like the indigenous beings in the world and the distribution of the land and forces etc.
He continued to read until he finished everything. Exhaling lightly, his mood was both excited and heavy, “Killing to become stronger… there are myriad races in that world as well. Not only the main races of our world but millions of different minor and major races. And it is basically a grindstone of death, slaughtering everything…”
He inexplicably felt heavy. But all those who got the token also learned a small detail about what kind of place the Shura Hell is. The details were not as detailed as the Token he got but they usually got the gist of it.
But despite that, uncountable number of beings still went to that world for progress. So there were no innocent people in that world. And the indigenous beings were more like bloodthirsty monsters due to the long-term exposure to all the slaughter in that realm.
“Let’s forget about it for now. There is no need for me to take the risk to go there.” He shook his head and placed the token in the inventory.
Lumi curiously asked,
[Aren’t you curious about the power system of that world Master?]
Orion smiled wryly, “Of course I’m interested, but what can I do? I won’t be going to that place anytime soon. But that power system is quite something, instead of using mana they use Slaughter Energy to cultivate.”
Lumi thoughtfully agreed and shared a few things,
[Yes, it is one of the major power systems in this world. After all, the Mana power system is not the only power system. It is also not the strongest, I suggest Master look for a new power system when you get the chance.]
Orion nodded his head, “I had that thought since I saw the Energy Source in my status screen. Since there is Mana, there must be other energies. Hmm do you know which is the strongest energy?”
Lumi hesitated for a bit before cautiously replying,
[I think Origin Source energy should be the strongest. But it is also the rarest, people can’t find it even in higher Chiliocosms.]
Orion felt a little disappointed hearing that, ‘Then, do you know where I can look for it?’
Lumi thought for a second before replying,
[I don’t have any data for that right now Master. I searched through your inheritance and there is nothing for it there as well.]
Just as Orion’s disappointment grew, Lumi’s voice changed,
[However, I have a feeling that I can answer your questions once you reach Exalted Grade. I will undergo another major evolution then and might get more details. Your inheritance will also give out more memories once you evolve. So quickly evolve Master, so we can have more knowledge about this world.]
Orion’s eyes brightened up hearing her words, he took a deep breath, “Alright, I can feel my evolution coming closer. In at most a few months my evolution will begin…”
The two of them continued to chat throughout the night while making plans for the future. This Token, which might be useless for now, also opened a new door for Orion. The door for other power systems which he hadn’t considered carefully before.
Now, having learned about the mystery of Shura Hell, he was eager to learn about various worlds, if he wasn’t in the midst of a war, he would have dropped whatever he was doing and gone on a journey to explore the world.
But for now, he decided to take care of this place first. He couldn’t leave and he wasn’t strong enough to move throughout the world without caution. Too many people wanted him dead and merely the Insanity Creed would be enough to give him a huge headache.
He had also checked on the mission progress of the Demon Hunting mission, but he hadn’t fulfilled any of the conditions yet. Even after killing nearly a hundred thousand demons alone he hadn’t even met the simplest Tier 7 Humanoid Demon requirement.
The demons were scarcer than he had imagined. But he wasn’t worried about not completing the mission, there were too many demons for him to kill. If not in the first wave then in the second or third or fourth waves he was bound to complete the mission.
Only the Exalted Grade mission was troublesome. He had no idea how to clear it so he decided to focus on the others.

The morning sun rose as Orion walked out of the room after getting fresh. He walked through the corridor of the mansion, the walls were bathing in the warm morning glow of the sun.
He could hear the shouts of legion members practicing at the back of the manor. He didn’t go back to check on them yet, since they were training then let them train.
After talking with Lumi throughout the night, he had also felt a lot of his pressure had been lessened. He was truly grateful for having someone to confide in all the things which he couldn’t tell others about.
And now he finally had a clear target, first he would train to reach Tier 9 and clear all the demon hunting missions that Lumi gave out. After that, he would wait until the Quest of the academy ends.
‘Hmm if I remember correctly, one can ask for early graduation from the academy if they reach Tier 9 right?’ He thought to himself with a smile, wondering what the reaction of everyone would be once they learned that a newcomer in his first year was graduating.
He had no interest in being a student after getting what he wanted from the academy. After learning the basics, he basically didn’t go back to the academy for anything else.
Only the Tower of Myths interested him a little in the academy now. ‘After I go back this time, I will challenge the Tower of Myths and clear it.’
He decided about clearing the tower and then graduating from the academy with a bang, leaving an eternal myth in the Thunderpeak Royal Academy.
