Chapter 473: Arriving at the Frontlines
Pseudo Exalted Grade beings could kill a Tier 9 being with a single slap. But their path for transcendence had forever been barred. Except if they could find some treasures that could cleanse their body completely and wash away their cultivation so they could start anew.

“Did someone ask for help from those lords?” One of the demons asked through sound transmission.

He received a quick response, “Yes but… they asked us to hold him back. They have been locked down by the human powerhouses. If they make a move then the human powerhouses will do the same.”

All demons fell silent hearing this. They knew it would be like this since it wasn’t the first time facing this issue. Even on other battlefields similar situations had happened.

They took a deep breath and continued attacking Orion.

‘Hmm, they can’t threaten me, but I can’t clear them up in a short time even if I want to… these fuckers are already over a dozen in number. Do the demons spawn from hell or what? How do they cultivate?’ He thought with irritation seeing the number of demon powerhouses.

Taking a deep breath, his mind became steady, ‘I have already done enough. I should let the other humans slowly push the demons back. I can just hold their upper tier powerhouses back.’

Deciding so, he once again started colliding with the demons, attacking them one by one while finding opportunities to cast a spell down towards the battlefield.

Rina came to support her in time yet Fiora said to her with sound transmission, “Wait, let me fight with him. I haven’t had the chance to gain practical combat against demons yet. Those previous demons were too weak.”

Rina paused, smiling wryly, she muttered to herself, ‘When did she become a battle maniac…’

But she didn’t dwell on it much and fought her own opponents. Her attack was more dreadful as she used soul attacks while using spells. And some demons died eerily without even realizing what had hit them.

Even the members of the legion shivered looking at the way the demons lost their life and slumped to the ground without any attack.

‘Fuck fuck we can’t offend her!’

Most of the legion members decided to treat Rina and Fiora carefully, seeing one mysteriously killing the demons while the other brutally crushed them.

Arya and the others’ mouths twitched seeing the two of them clearing the demons like cutting down grass.

Felira said with a wry smile, “Aren’t they too strong?”

Elias’s throat felt dry, “I can understand Orion being monstrous but why are even his maids so strong? How are we supposed to live?”

Arya softly giggled, “Big Sister Fiora and Big Sister Rina are personally trained by Brother Orion, and both of them are no less talented than us. It’s a given they will be so strong.”

Elias patted his chest, “They are older that’s why they are stronger. I will be just as strong or even stronger when I reach their ag—”

His words got stuck in his throat as he felt two piercing gazes falling upon him. Cold sweat broke out on his forehead as he hurriedly hid behind Garron so as to not meet Fiora and Rina’s eyes.

He peeked from behind Garron and weakly said, “What? I-I was just talkin—”

Rina looked at him with a gentle smile, “Elias, let’s spar after this demon wave ends. Let me see how strong your soul is.”

Fiora nodded in agreement after pushing back her opponent, “I’m also interested in seeing how good his physique is. I also want to spar.”

Elias’s pupils dilated seeing the two of them with gentle smiles. But those smiles in his eyes were much more chilling than the demons in the surrounding.

“No need, no need. My soul is weak and my physique is weak. I can’t handle a beating from the two of you.”
