Orion pointed his sword in the front while saying, “Alright don’t waste my time, mere Tier 9 demons are not worth wasting my time here.”

The demons looked at each other with grave expressions. Most of them didn’t have the confidence to deal with this human.

One of the demons said to another with sound transmission, “We are not his match. One of us should go and massacre those weak humans and distract him so others can find an opportunity to attack him.”

The other demon’s eyes lit up and one of them immediately agreed, “Alright I’m going then.”

Then, without waiting for the other demons to agree he shot towards the human soldiers guarding the frontlines.

Orion raised an eyebrow seeing one of the demons running away, however his eyes narrowed slightly as he saw the direction where the demon was running.

He activated Nine Steps Quake as thunderous booms echoed and he arrived in front of the rushing demon instantly.

The demon’s eyes widened with fright, and the last thing he saw was a sword covered with fire descending towards him like a pillar of heaven.

The demon’s entire body was split apart in two before burning to a crisp.

But the other demons didn’t miss their chance and quickly shot their attacks towards Orion. Some used demonic spells while some shot out weapon auras.

Orion’s expression turned serious, even he didn’t dare to take the attacks of 4 Tier 9 demons head on. He quickly unleashed his draconic wings and rushed towards the sky to avoid the attacks.

“Impossible!”

“Is he a human or Draconian?”

“This damn hybrid! He’s not a human!”

The demons shouted with changed expressions, but they didn’t take a step back, instead they followed after Orion in the sky. Since they couldn’t compete with Orion in speed, they decided to fight head on.

Orion looked at them gravely, he had killed the first demon because he was not prepared and had not used any defense.

But now, killing the successive demons would be a lot harder than before. He didn’t have much confidence in killing them quickly so he could only take a deep breath and try to end the battle as quickly as he could.

The demons didn’t give him the time to think further, they quickly arrived at his place and continued their attacks.

While Orion decided to attack one of them first since breaking one finger was better than injuring 10 fingers.

One of the demons quickly shouted and attacked in front of the demon beast, “Don’t let him pick us off one by one!”

The other demons also hurriedly attacked, forcing Orion back before his attack could successfully land.

‘This is getting troublesome.’ Orion looked at them with a gloomy expression. He could easily kill any one of them but the other demons were not giving him the chance.

He took a deep breath, ‘I refuse to believe I can’t kill a mere demon.’

He continued to chant one spell after another, focusing all of them on a single demon, attacking from a high altitude towards the ground so even if the demon dodged the attacks they would still fall on the demonic beasts on the ground below.

The demon’s complexion turned pale seeing the barrage of attacks, he hurriedly cast defensive spells on himself while frantically dodging one attack after another.

While the other demons and demonic beasts also attacked Orion’s spells, hoping to extinguish them before they hit the demon.

But the speed of Orion’s spell casting far surpassed the speed of other demons, while the power of his spells was even higher than their Tier 9 spells.

They felt invigorated seeing one of their human powerhouses fighting multiple opponents of the same level and still having the upper hand.

The faces of these humans would be a sight to behold if they knew the human powerhouse was only a young man at Tier 8 instead of whatever they thought he was.

One valiant warrior, while cleaving a demonic beast in two, asked with an incredulous voice, “Who is this? I don’t think we have seen this person in the previous fights right?”

His companion, while fighting against a demonic beast, glanced up and his gaze filled with shock, “Holy fuck! How many elements has this monster learned??”

A middle-aged female mage mumbled a chant while looking at the sky with an awed gaze, “…Who said that two element users are rare while three element users are as rare as divine dragons? This monster has learned at least half a dozen elements.”

The other places had similar discussions, everyone was awed by the mastery of multiple elements by Orion.

Most of them hadn’t seen two element users, while nearly none had even heard about a person possessing three elements. It wasn’t surprising they were so shocked seeing Orion displaying one element after another.

Even the generals and commander of the human army were looking at the sky with solemn gazes.

“Exalted Grade huh…” Chilian smiled, a hint of self-mockery evident in his eyes, “The dream of so many, yet it remained outside the realm of what most can achieve. While some people have talent so high that they can easily reach it after reaching adulthood.”

Theron remained silent. He knew Chilian was one of such people. He had already tried to reach the Exalted Grade and had already failed midway. But he was lucky enough to survive and thus became a Pseudo Exalted Grade being.
