Chapter 459: Challengers Begin
Orion lightly smiled and said, “Alright everyone can start challenging those you like.”

Just as he finished speaking, a young man with a mage staff went towards Kale and directly said, “I would like to challenge Kale Duskfield.”

Kale’s face slightly darkened, ‘Do I look like a soft persimmon? Just because I was ranked 10th among the talents these bastards think I can be dealt with easily?’

Orion inwardly laughed looking at Kale’s dark face and nodded his head, “Let’s start the first duel.”

Kale and the young man stood facing each other in the arena. And just as Orion’s voice reached them, both of them moved as the young man formed an earth armor on his body while Kale imbued his long sword in his scabbard with Intermediate Grade Sword Aura and a Wind spell to achieve maximum speed while he dashed towards the young man.

The young man was not to be outdone as he used an earth spell to create obstructions on the path of Kale while rapidly chanting incantations for high grade spells and making spears protrude out from the ground.

Kale quickly moved and avoided the attacks while quickly nearing the young man. He unsheathed his sword with a quickdraw technique and slashed at the ribs of the young man.

But his attack hit a rock wall that the young man had conjured and stopped the attack while his hand quickly moved to unleash another spell to attack Kale.

However, Kale instantaneously used a low grade spell and raised his leg to attack the face of the young man who was busy chanting as he got hit directly on the face and had his nose broken by Kale and sent flying out of the arena.

“Phew… You need to train for a few more years before you can challenge me.” Kale lightly said looking at the young man who was bleeding from the nose.

“Y-You…” The young man angrily glared at Kale but in the end said nothing more.

“Alright, first match, Kale wins.” Orion announced while turning his head towards Felira, “Felira, can you heal the young man?”

Felira nodded her head and approached the young man before using a Wood element healing spell.

The young man stood still and let the healing light heal his injuries and gratefully nodded his head towards Felira before moving to stand among others. He planned to challenge someone next but decided to wait and watch.

Seeing the first match end, the others began to stir and one by one challenged others. While Kale was allowed to rest for 15 minutes to restore his mana and get ready for the next battle.

The battles continued for hours until late afternoon. And during the battles, none dared to challenge Arya and Nyss. Arya’s reason was self explanatory, she was the princess of the country, no one dared to challenge her authority.

While they were in Blackwell House territory, so no one wanted to test Blackwell House’s attitude if they dared to challenge their authority in their own Dukedom.

In the end, Kale, Tavian, and Elias got the most challengers, keeping them busy as a bee as they had to fight one battle every 15–20 minutes.

And this was also a good challenge and training for them as they visibly improved under the immense pressure and nearly broke through to the Eighth Level.

Finally, the Deputy Captains were decided in the end. Only Tavian lost his qualifications to another commoner man named Ray who was an Earth Element user, similar to Garron.

But what made students change their color was, no one was able to break the arena which Orion had casually created even during their intense fights. The vines remained as sturdy as rock.

Lots of students speculated on what level Orion had reached to make such sturdy vines from his spells. But when they tried to scan his aura, all they got was Tier 7 aura, similar to all other Deputy Commanders.

So they couldn’t understand how the difference was so great.

Orion looked at everyone and seeing that the challenges had died down, he dispersed the 7 arenas and took a step forward, “Everyone, now that Deputy Commanders have been decided, let’s begin what everyone has been eagerly waiting for.” He paused, looking at everyone’s eager expression.

Nodding his head, he said, “The battle for Commander position will start now. To make it fair, all the Deputy Commanders will get an hour for rest and then they can challenge me.”

Turning to look at the seven of them, his gaze went to Garron and Ray as he said, “You don’t have any problems with this right?”

Garron shook his head, “Let’s fight right now. I have rested enough, resting more won’t change the outcome much.”

“Good, quite straightforward.” Orion chuckled and went to the center, this time he didn’t make an arena so others wouldn’t say that he created favorable conditions for himself.

Instead, everyone moved further back and made sufficient distance for him and Garron to fight.

Garron’s fighting style was very straightforward, he was a body path cultivator and used his gauntlets as weapons, while also using Thunder and Earth Fist Aura to attack.

Orion also wanted to fight against Garron to test his physical body, so he decided to fight without a sword or his Sword Aura.

“Are you ready?” Orion softly asked.

Garron put on his gauntlets and activated Intermediate Grade Thunder Fist Aura, his fist glowed with purple as he asked with a curious tone, “Aren’t you going to take out your sword?”

Orion shook his head and said with a tone filled with confidence, “I also want to test my physical body, let’s spar.”

Garron said nothing as he narrowed his eyes and shot towards Orion, who met his attack head on as their fists collided mid air, sending a shockwave outwards towards the students.

“Damn, these two monsters will destroy the mansion.”

“The others at least held back and kept the destruction range within the arenas.”

“These two are going too wild.”

The students chatted while retreating further back so as not to get swept in the aftermath of Orion and Garron’s fight.

Arya and the club members stood together watching the fight as Orion and Garron exchanged dozens of moves in a few seconds as the intensity of the fight continued to increase.

“Brother Orion is enjoying himself too much.” Arya softly said.

Elias nodded his head, “Yeah, he’s holding back too much, otherwise Garron would have been sent flying with the first attack.”

Kale chuckled, “Let him have his fun, there are no one among us who fight like this. His Dragon blood probably wants a wild fight he’s having right now.”

Rina softly laughed hearing Kale’s words, “I wonder how our Dragons will perform on the battlefield.”

Emilia raised an eyebrow, “Dragons? Is there another Draconian beside Orion?”

Rina looked at her and smiled mysteriously, “You will know at the battlefield if the situation arises.”

The others looked curious but seeing that Rina wouldn’t budge they didn’t ask further questions and turned to look at Garron and Orion fighting.

By now, the fight had reached a white hot stage where both of them attacked each other without defending.
