The three of them were sitting at the table as Orion finished speaking about his test, “…So I need to head out tomorrow to take part in this test.”

Selene and Eldric already knew about this test so they didn’t say much about it but Eldric still cautiously advised him, “Be careful out there. Demons are very cunning, so don’t lower your guard after going there and suffer a loss.”

Selene also nodded in agreement, “Yes, too many young people suffer in their hands due to their naivety. But seeing you prepare so diligently, I can be rest assured.”

Orion smiled lightly and nodded his head, “Don’t worry you two, I will take care of myself.”

Eldric just then said as if he had just remembered something, “Oh and leave Little Lyra behind, it won’t be much of a test if you have that level of expert with you. And she can also play here.”

Now this war had been going on for over a year, but there were no signs of it deescalating but instead the demons were fanning the flames of war. Thunderpeak Kingdom couldn’t do anything else but retaliate against them.

The entire kingdom had sent over a lot of manpower to the front lines to achieve a stalemate against the demons for so long and now the battlefield had been mostly stabilized. But each day, both sides were incurring losses.

And the one who was actually being affected was the Thunderpeak Kingdom because the demons don’t care how many of them will die. If they are dead then they will be replenished from other places.

But Thunderpeak Kingdom couldn’t do this so they were also looking for a way to break this stalemate. But the top combatants of the Kingdom couldn’t move easily as the demons also had them so now they could only wait for an opportunity to change the situation.

And the Academy took advantage of this opportunity and decided to train the young students on this battlefield.
