Chapter 446: Heading to Room
Orion’s mind churned as he quickly thought of a reason, he turned to look at Fiora and said with a gentle smile, “How can my cooking compare with Fiora? Of course Fiora cooks better.”

He said without changing his expression. He didn’t care about his face, what is that? Can you eat it? Only the shameless people are invincible in this world.

Rina’s lips twitched as she muttered to herself, “Shameless.”

Orion turned a deaf ear to her while Fiora giggled hearing his words.

Even Seraph’s lips curled slightly into a smile seeing this different side of Orion for the first time.

Eldric and Selene left shortly after to let the young ones talk among themselves with a smile. And after a while everyone finished talking, the lively atmosphere within the hall gradually quieted down.

Arya and Nyss were the first ones to leave, bidding farewell to Orion and the others before departing towards their own homes.

Fiora and Rina excused themselves shortly after, heading back to their respective duties within the mansion. Seraph asked Orion to meet with her later before heading back to her room.

Now left alone with little Lyra, Orion gently took her small hand and began walking down the familiar corridor toward his room.

He glanced down at her with a helpless yet affectionate smile and asked softly, “Are you sure you don’t want your own room, Little Lyra? It would be a space all for yourself.”

Lyra vigorously shook her head, green hair fluttering around her small face as she stubbornly insisted, “No! I want to stay with papa!”

Orion sighed helplessly, knowing he couldn’t change the little girl’s mind. As they reached his room, he gently pushed open the wooden door.

Lyra eagerly dashed inside, her small feet padding softly on the floor as she curiously explored every corner of Orion’s room.

Compared to the lavishly decorated rooms typical of nobility, Orion’s room was unusually simple and minimalistic.

A large, comfortable bed was placed against the far wall, its sheets neatly arranged. In front of a window was placed a neat study table for his research and learning with few scattered parchments and ink bottles.

Near the corner was a simple dressing table and wardrobe, both modest yet practical. And a meditation mat was placed at the very center of the room, and doors nearby led toward the washroom and bath area.

Lyra’s little brows furrowed with dissatisfaction as she finished surveying the room, turning toward Orion with a slightly pouting expression, “Papa, why is your room so plain? It’s not pretty at all.”

Orion chuckled softly, kneeling down to gently pat her head, “That’s because I don’t pay much attention to these kinds of things. But you can decorate it however you wish, alright? Just ask Fiora or Rina to help you find whatever you need.”

Lyra’s bright eyes instantly lit up, her previous dissatisfaction quickly vanishing as new, exciting ideas filled her mind.

She nodded eagerly, clearly thrilled at the thought of turning Orion’s plain room upside down.

Watching her excitement, Orion smiled gently before recalling something important he needed to do. Standing back up, he softly told Lyra, “Little Lyra, you can stay here and plan your decorations, or play around the mansion with the others. I need to visit a friend who isn’t feeling well. I won’t be long.”

Lyra obediently nodded her small head, her big emerald eyes brimming with understanding, “Okay, papa! Lyra will be good and wait for you here!”

With a gentle smile, Orion turned and quietly exited the room, softly closing the door behind him.

He then swiftly headed down another hallway, passing through several corridors until he reached the guest chambers where Magi had been resting ever since Edgar brought him back.

He talked with Lumi along the way about some stuff and soon reached the door of the room where Magi was resting. He gently knocked before pushing it open quietly.

Looking inside, Orion saw Magi resting quietly on the bed, his chest rising and falling with deep breaths.

The soft rays of sunlight filtered through the partially drawn curtains, gently illuminating Magi’s peaceful yet slightly pale face.

The room felt tranquil and calming, a stark contrast to the storm of emotions Orion felt brewing within himself as he approached Magi’s bedside.

Standing silently beside his unconscious friend, Orion carefully studied Magi’s body. Something felt off, very subtle, yet unmistakably strange.

His brows furrowed in deep thought as he quietly muttered, “His aura… it seems weird?”

Lumi, sensing Orion’s confusion, echoed softly in his mind, [Yes, his aura feels distinctly different from before, though his strength remains weak. He hasn’t grown stronger, but neither has he weakened due to whatever is keeping him like this.]

Orion nodded quietly in acknowledgment, carefully observing Magi’s body for visible wounds or injuries.

Thankfully, he saw nothing alarming on Magi’s body. A faint sigh of relief escaped his lips as he softly murmured, “Looks like something unusual happened to him internally. There’s not much I can do but wait patiently.”

At that very moment, a familiar presence stirred gently within Orion’s Sea of Consciousness. The ethereal figure of Asteraxa slowly awakened, her melodic voice gently reverberating through Orion’s mind.

[Hmm? This aura… it doesn’t belong to this Epoch.]

Intrigued, Orion quickly asked, “What exactly do you mean by that?”

She slightly paused, gathering her fragmented thoughts carefully before answering, [My memories are slowly returning bit by bit… although it will be a long time before I regain all of them fully. Still, even now, I can distinctly recognize that this aura surrounding your friend is one not of this current Epoch, but rather from an earlier one… though, I’m uncertain exactly which Epoch it originates from.]

Orion’s eyes immediately brightened upon hearing her words, excitement briefly overshadowing his concern as he eagerly asked, “You’re healing your memories? Is there anything I can do to help speed up your recovery?”

Asteraxa’s playful giggle echoed melodiously, clearly amused by his eagerness. [Oh my, the Young Master himself wishes to help this lowly sword spirit? Then I shan’t be modest! You can aid me greatly by allowing me to devour treasures of at least Exalted Grade to assist my recovery.]

Instantly, Orion’s forehead filled with black lines, his lips twitching as he said incredulously, “…You think Exalted Grade treasures grow like common cabbages? Those are precious enough to elevate a noble house in Thunderpeak Kingdom!”

Asteraxa giggled sweetly once more, clearly enjoying Orion’s reaction, [Oh, those Exalted Grade treasures? Those are merely the lowest tier items I can consume, and they won’t provide me much aid. Ideally, you should give me even higher-grade treasures, preferably those at Supreme Paragon Grade.]

Orion felt his face darken considerably, a feeling of helplessness welling up as he sighed internally. Nonetheless, he couldn’t contain his curiosity and asked, “Could you at least tell me clearly about the treasure grades beyond Exalted? I’ve heard a bit, but I’d appreciate more detail.”

Asteraxa paused briefly, thoughtfully arranging her partially restored memories.

[Certainly. Most don’t mention these higher grades to you because they believe you are too far from that realm. If only they knew about your rate of growth hehe. Above Ninth Tier is the Exalted Grade, followed by Paragon Grade, and then Supreme Paragon Grade. Both of your Grandparents are within the Supreme Paragon Grade, with your Grandfather Eldric at the pinnacle of that level.]

Orion’s eyes lit up brightly, digesting the flood of new information, excitement welling up inside him.

His heartbeat quickened at the names of the new levels, he had heard about them but wasn’t clear, but he quickly calmed himself, mentally noting to discuss this matter later. For now, his attention returned to Magi, a sense of helplessness still present.

Taking a deep breath, Orion asked once again earnestly, “Well, we can delve into that later. But concerning Magi’s situation, is there nothing I can do to help him recover faster?”

This time, Asteraxa’s gentle yet honest answer came without teasing. [Well, you are too weak.]

Orion’s lips twitched faintly, resignation clear in his eyes. He softly muttered with slight annoyance, “Alright, I get it. No need to rub it in.”

With a gentle shake of his head, Orion carefully observed Magi for another moment, silently conveying his heartfelt wish for the man’s swift recovery.

Then he quietly whispered, “I’ll be leaving now. Rest well. I’ll be heading for the second test of the academy. Hopefully you can wake up by the time I’m back.”

After giving him one final glance, Orion turned and quietly exited the room, shutting the door gently behind him.

With a thoughtful expression, he began making his way toward Seraph’s room, recalling her earlier request to speak privately.

Walking slowly down the grand hallways of the mansion, Orion pondered Seraph’s intentions.

Ever since freeing her from the slave seal, Seraph had gradually begun opening up, slowly expressing herself more openly.

Yet, despite the noticeable improvement, Orion could still sense lingering shadows of trauma occasionally surfacing.

[What do you think she wants to talk about Master?]

Orion thought for a bit and said, ‘Hmm, if I’m not mistaken then she should be wanting to talk about her past. It’s been long enough, and she might be fearing I would be gone for a long time due to the test of the academy so she might tell me more. Let’s see what happens after going there.’
