Chapter 445: Meeting Lyra
Orion felt black lines forming on his face hearing her words, after all she wasn’t quiet and everyone in the room heard her words.

Arya, Nyss, Rina, Fiora and Seraph’s eyes widened in shock as they stood up from the table and looked towards Orion and Lyra.

Eldric barely suppressed a burst of laughter as he had arranged for them to come today. He was old but he wasn’t a fool, he could see who Orion liked among the group and specifically called for them during this time.

Even Selene looked at Orion with a hint of pity in her eyes, wondering how he would explain this situation to them.

Rina was the first one to react, putting her hands on her face she dramatically looked at Orion and said, “Y-Young Master, you were gone for only a few weeks and already… Did you have her before and hide her somewhere?”

Orion’s lips twitched, “What nonsense, how old is she? And how old am I? How can I be a father already?”

Arya seemed to react at this second as well and quickly followed Rina’s lead and said with a melancholic look, “I didn’t expect… I didn’t expect Brother Orion to already have kids…”

Seraph and Nyss just silently stared at Lyra and didn’t comment, thinking about something inwardly.

While Fiora sweetly smiled and asked, “Who is the little girl, Young Master?”

Orion exhaled a sigh of relief, “Looks like I can only rely on you Fiora. The others are out for my blood.”

Arya and Rina giggled hearing his words and Arya playfully said, “You were missing for weeks and when you came back you brought a girl who calls you papa. How do you think we would react?”

Orion shook his head helplessly and led Lyra inside, “At least give me a chance to explain, you are dragging my pristine name through the mud like this.”

Eldric laughed out loud hearing his words, “Hahaha what pristine name brat? You know best how good your name is, no need to boast. So, how did you like my surprise? I got them here to welcome your return.”

Orion felt like fighting the old man for three thousand rounds at this time, he looked at him with a slightly annoyed gaze, “You knew about Little Lyra?” his thoughts churned, after all he wasn’t dumb and he soon came to a conclusion, “You were following me when I was out?”

Eldric grinned seeing him coming to that conclusion so quickly, “Haha otherwise you think this old woman would allow you to wander in the wilds for so long? If I hadn’t held her back she would have brought you back before you even reached the Chaos City.”

Selene softly exhaled a sigh, “I can’t see my precious grandson suffer in your hands. But it’s good as well, he brought such an innocent gem back with him. Why don’t you introduce her to us?”

Orion smiled and pulled a chair from the table and sat Lyra on it before saying, “She is Lyra, she was hatched from the Egg I found in the cave of that beast where we fought.”

Everyone’s mind went blank as they heard Orion’s words, Rina asked with widened eyes, “W-What? How is that possible? Even if she is from a different species how can she have human form at birth?”

Orion looked at her weirdly and asked, “What’s wrong with being a human from birth?”

Selene softly said, “All the creatures at birth are in their natural form, just like those high tier mana beasts can transform into humans but at birth they are mana beasts, same for apex species like Dragon, Phoenix and others.”

Realization dawned on Orion, he had read about this here but forgotten it due to her calling him papa all the time, ‘Wasn’t I also born as a Human after my transformation tho? I need to work hard just to use my true form.’

His mood became a little depressed thinking about this matter, he had all that power but he couldn’t use it because he had to train to get the body of a True Dragon, and he has yet to evolve into an Adult Dragon from a Juvenile Dragon.

Little Lyra looked around at the various people and felt a little nervous, just then, Arya extended her hand to pat her head.

Eldric and Selene turned their gaze to the back of Orion with surprise in their eyes.

While Arya’s hand passed through Lyra’s body, this frightened her so much that she paled a little, thinking something happened to Lyra but her entire body sitting on the chair vanished from the place like smoke.

Behind Orion’s legs, she peeked at Arya while warily asking, “Who are you to my papa?”

Everyone looked at Lyra before looking at each other, even Orion was surprised seeing her vanishing, but she hadn’t used her speed to do it this time. “Illusion? She has the Illusion attribute?”

Orion turned to look at the little girl who was staring at Arya while warily asking, he smiled and leaned down before pinching her nose again, “You little demon, I didn’t know you had the Illusion attribute. And you don’t need to be wary of others here, everyone is family.”

Lyra tilted her head, “Family? So they are my mama?”

This time, Orion’s mind went blank hearing her words, however the girls on the other hand all blushed heavily except Seraph, she didn’t have such feelings yet, and Nyss who still sat indifferently, yet one could see her ears turning red.

Rina was the first to recover as she coughed, “Cough, now now Little Lyra, you can call us Big Sisters, we are not that old.”

Lyra’s eyes lit up as she heard her words, “Papa also always asks me to call him Big Brother, you guys are so similar to him, I will call you mama from now on!” Her bell-like laughter echoed in the hall as she looked at all the girls excitedly.

Only now did the girls understand the helplessness that Orion suffered during this time. Orion also smiled seeing their looks, he finally felt a little good to himself, ‘Good, I’m not the only one who suffered from this little demon.’

The entire mood instantly lit up in the hall as everyone started talking about the things they had encountered after being separated in the cave.

It turns out that Eldric and Lucan had found all of them within 24 hours since they didn’t teleport far away from the runes, while some of them had ended up in Desolate Wilderness but Edgar was able to locate them feeling the spatial disturbance so none of them suffered from Orion’s fate.

The most tragic one was Magi, who was found unconscious with broken bones outside the Desolate Wilderness so he wasn’t eaten by the beasts. Even so, Edgar had to use some high grade healing elixirs to fix his body before taking him back.

Since then, he had been unconscious and sleeping in this mansion. Orion also asked about how did he go to the store since he heard about this in Silverfall City to which Eldric told him that he sent someone in disguise to fool others so no one would make trouble.

Finally Orion understood the ins and outs of the situation but couldn’t help exhale a sigh, he decided to visit Magi later to check up on him.

By this time, Lyra had also integrated with everyone and was now sitting in Selene’s lap and was eating fruits, Selene softly said, “Do you like the fruits here?”

Lyra happily nodded her head while munching, “Mmm, but I still like papa’s cooking.”

Arya raised an eyebrow and looked at Orion suspiciously, “Since when did Brother Orion learn how to cook?”

Orion raised his head proudly, “What kind of person do you think I am? Would I still need to take a long time to learn something as simple as that? With my peak talent I can learn anything within 5 minutes.”

Eldric and Selene looked at each other and couldn’t help but shake their heads, this brat was bragging a bit too much.

Rina’s eyes lit up, “Is your cooking better than Fiora’s now, Master?”

Orion’s lips twitched, how could he not see the trap in her words? If he said yes then it would mean Fiora’s years of efforts were not as good as his 5 minutes of effort, but if he said no then wouldn’t he be shooting himself in the foot?

He looked at Rina with a gaze that said, ‘I will deal with you later.’ Rina just stuck her tongue out playfully and turned her head to look at Fiora who was staring at Orion for his answer.
