Chapter 3194: Gathering Tigers
In one of the many palaces that the White Tigers owned within the Fighting Island, Bai Jingshen remained blissfully unaware of everything that was happening in every other location.

That was until he was notified by Bai Fulin of something happening.

He noted the tone of the message he received and realized it was something serious. By the time he arrived outside, more information came, and he was more or less aware of what had happened.

Twenty-nine White Tigers dying, especially ones from the younger generation, was a major blow to the White Tigers. It was a crime that needed swift and unbiased judgment.

However, it didn’t count when the crime happened inside the Fighting Island. Anyone who went to the lawless land did so willingly with the understanding that they might die.

And more than that, Bai Jingshen was now fully aware of who it was that needed justice.

He checked on Pearl’s copy of Soul Flame that he kept for himself and was happy to notice that he was fine, with not even the smallest variation to the tongue of green and gold fire.

Bai Jingshen searched around the island and quickly noted the group of White Tigers that had arrived recently. Not even a few seconds later, he arrived close by.

There were about eight White Tigers in the group, each one furious beyond belief. Many beasts cowered before the group. Even though they had no authority there at all, the beasts could not find the courage to tell that to the family members of the recently deceased White Tigers.

“I demand you tell me!” The White Tiger at the front shouted at a Divine realm Crane beast that was one of the many beasts in charge of keeping the Fighting Island safe for the Immortals from Divine realm beasts.

“We do not divulge such information, seniors. You are aware that we do not,” the crane said. “We can’t be compliant in releasing such vital information. We have a reason to keep the other beasts safe.”

“You tell me who killed my grandson right now, or I am going to—”

“Woah, Woah, Woah!” Bai Jingshen stepped in the middle of the White Tiger’s talk. “Uncle Caoyang, let’s not go too far ahead, lest we forget where we are. Threatening someone we hand our juniors to every few centuries is not a good idea, you know.”

The White Tiger turned around, a look of contempt flashing across his face that he barely managed to suppress. “What are you doing here, Jingshen?”

“My descendant is inside, so I’ve been waiting for him,” Bai Jingshen said. “Did I hear it right? Was your grandson killed?”

Before Bai Caoyang could speak, another White Tiger rushed out from the group and appeared before Bai Jingshen.

Bai Jingshen stared at the new beast and smiled. “Aunt… Gouyung, was it? I’m sorry. I have so many aunts and uncles that I tend to forget all of your names sometimes. How’s my cousin Wangmi doing?”

The female White Tiger said nothing at all. Instead, her body towered over Bai Jingshen, her aura pressing upon him. Bai Jingshen had only just managed to reach the Divine Creation 6th realm, so the force of someone from the Divine Manifestation 4th realm was much too strong for him to handle.

However, things were rarely as simple when it came to Bai Jingshen. He stood his ground, barely appearing fazed by the female tiger’s pressure, as he returned the most nonchalant grin he could.

“Was it you?” she asked.

“Was I… what?” Bai Jingshen asked.

“Was it you who killed my youngest son?” she asked.

Bai Jingshen narrowed his eyes. “You are antagonistic against me for some reason, Aunt Gouyung. I haven’t the faintest clue why you think I would do any such thing. What need would I have to kill one of my own kin? Do you think he attempted to do something to anger me?”

“I swear to the heaven, if you had any hand in my son’s death, I will tear your flesh from your bone for all of eternity.”

Bai Jingshen shrugged. “A waste of an oath if you ask me,” he said before turning to the crane. “Have I broken the rules here, such as entering the lawless region?”

“No,” the crane answered. “We have paid careful attention to everyone who enters. No one who has entered was in the Divine realm. Everyone’s Qi firmly registered as Immortal Qi.”

Bai Jingshen turned back toward Gouyung. “Do you think I have Immortal Qi, Aunt Gouyung?”

The female Tiger let out a deep growl, but before she could do anything, she turned around and walked back to the group. She had clearly been told to stop right away.

Bai Caoyang stepped forward. “There’s been a crime, nephew,” he said. “Our children have been killed within the island. Don’t you think we need justice?”

“Of course,” Bai Jingshen said, his head rising in a mockery of pride. “How can we not, uncle? I perfectly understand your frustration. We must punish those that come after our family, shouldn’t we? I couldn’t stand around doing nothing if I had proof that someone had come after my family too.”

The group fell silent for a few seconds, each beast looking at each other. Almost all of them heard the threat in Bai Jingshen’s voice, something they could not ignore.

While Bai Jingshen’s cultivation base meant he could hardly touch a hair on their body if they wanted him not to, his talking to the patriarch was a different thing.

Bai Jingshen was special. His bloodline was one of the strongest in any generation, making him the most beloved White Tiger when it came to the patriarch. If he said one word, all of them would be in trouble.

That was as long as he brought along some proof with him, which he didn’t. They were safe for now.

That was just what they had thought when everyone turned toward an approaching ship that made its way toward them.

And atop it stood a human, and the impure White Tiger they had sent their children to kill.
