Chapter 3185: One Chance
Pearl wasn’t satisfied.

For what the White Tiger had said, nothing but his death would satisfy him.

Bai Yanbei stirred out of the crater, a look of fear on his face. His jaw trembled, pain still coursing through it. Had he not used the technique at the right moment, his jaw would’ve likely shattered in the single hit.

He could not understand how that was possible at all. How could someone so much weaker than him produce a level of strength so much stronger? Something was wrong.

He looked at the others that were staring in shock.

“You idiots!” Bai Yanbei shouted. “Attack!”

Before they moved, Pearl was already upon Bai Yanbei, this time his spear coming directly down on the beast.

Bai Yanbei filled his body with Qi, at the same time swinging his claw at Pearl. An illusory golden claw appeared around his actual claw as power filled him.

The spear met the claw, and Pearl was pushed back.

Pearl raised his eyebrows in momentary surprise upon seeing the tiger’s Spirit, but he quickly ignored it as he spun around for another attack.

Bai Yanbei used White Tiger’s Roar.

Pearl’s vision wavered for a second before regaining clarity. He immediately prepared to attack Yanbei again, only to notice someone else attacking him.

He stepped away just in time as a pinkish maw chomped down on where his head had been.

A second White Tiger, the only female tiger in the Immortal Spirit realm, had attacked. The illusory pink aura surrounding the beast’s maw faded away a moment later.

“Shanqiu! Are you trying to take his blood essence for yourself?” Yanbei shouted.

“Do you still think we can take his Blood Essence while he’s alive?” the tiger named Shanqiu asked, her gaze still positioned on Pearl.

Pearl was not far from the two, his face emotionless. From what he was certain, no one but Yanbei himself could pose any lethal danger in this group. But he couldn’t be sure that one of the other two Immortal Spirit realm White Tigers didn’t have something just as dangerous as well. They would certainly have Divine Qi in their body, so he would have to be careful.

Besides them, Pearl couldn’t completely ignore the other many White Tigers, primarily because they were White Tigers. The tricks and treasures these beasts employed would be nothing Pearl had ever experienced.

Besides, it was these White Tigers that were keeping him from teleporting. With so many of them together working on suppressing it now, Pearl couldn’t even break past their Intent. It was too strong.

Sadly for them, it hardly mattered.

For the first time, he addressed the group as a whole.

“I do not know if you were sent here by someone’s order, or chose to come on this mission out of your own volition. Whatever the case, you have chosen to make me your opponent.”

Pearl’s voice boomed through the surroundings, reaching nearly every nook and corner within that area where the barrier had been set up.

“So, I will give you all this one option. You have 2 minutes to evacuate the area and leave as far as you can. If you do not—”

The third Immortal Spirit realm tiger took that moment to attack, some sort of illusory fire burning around his claw as he swiped at Pearl. The power in his strike was one that was enough to scare even Pearl.

The beast was using what little Divine Qi he had in this one attack.

Space twisted around Pearl, the attack passing next to him harmlessly. When the space healed, the tiger stood right next to Pearl, his eyes wide in shock as he stared directly at Pearl.

A roaring energy surged around Pearl’s spear and he stabbed forward.

Heaven Revolving Spear Strike.

The power ripped through the White Tiger’s head, tearing through his skull, scattering blood and brain matter all over the grass before them.

Pearl never looked at him once.

“If you do not,” Pearl continued. “Well… you’ve seen the result.”

The scene of the dead Immortal Spirit realm White Tiger left the rest of the White Tigers stricken with fear. They stepped back slowly, realizing that they would die if things continued.

Pearl turned toward the two remaining Immortal Spirit realm White Tigers. “Just to be clear, that doesn’t apply to the two of you. You are absolutely going to die.”

Yanbei gritted his teeth and turned toward the other White Tigers.

“Don’t run, you idiots,” he shouted. “Half of you, form the array. The other half, make sure you keep him from teleporting away.”

Bai Yanbei’s words were like a command to the rest of the White Tigers, stopping them in their tracks. They turned back around and quickly obeyed his orders.

Pearl knew about the Dominating Tiger’s Array and knew how strong it was. He couldn’t let that happen.

Space shrunk around him. Even though they had teleportation suppressed, they didn’t know how to suppress the rest of the space daos, so Pearl could move around freely.

He had no intention to let them form any sort of array, so he immediately charged for the White Tiger that was closest to him. The White Tiger was still stuck with indecision when Pearl arrived right before him.

That was the last thing the tiger saw before darkness took over.

Pearl moved on from the blasted corpse of the White Tiger and toward another one. The next one was also caught off guard, but as Pearl attacked, a golden band around the beast’s arm glowed brightly.

Pearl immediately moved backward, dodging the light at the last moment. It was some sort of defensive treasure that had activated when he nearly killed the tiger.

Pearl felt disoriented for a few seconds, realizing that he had been nearly knocked out by a spiritual attack. When his senses refocused, he noticed that the tigers were no longer scattered and instead regrouped in one spot.

As a dull golden light surrounded Bai Yanbei, Pearl knew that they had used the Dominating Tiger’s Array.
