471: Ch-471: Go to the Capital?

“Hmm, do you have a cauldron for Alchemy?” Wang Ming asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Oh, is someone among your partners an Alchemist?” the receptionist asked with interest in her eyes.

“Hmm, not really, it’s for me.

I am an Alchemist myself,” Wang Ming replied without bothering to hide his identity.

“Wow, Disciple Wang Ming, you are not only talented in cultivation, fighting, and Dual Cultivation, you’re also an Alchemist.

The Heavens must have paid utmost attention when you were born,” the woman said with a sparkle in her eyes as she looked at Wang Ming.

Her eyes wandered across every inch of his body as she licked her lips.

“Cough, can you show me cauldrons?” Wang Ming said with a tight smile as he saw the intense stare of the receptionist practically devouring him with her eyes.

“Ah, right,” the woman said with regret but quickly went inside and brought out some cauldrons.

There were many different colors, designs, and sizes of cauldrons presented before Wang Ming.

“These cauldrons are the best and can handle the creation of pills up to the Core Formation Realm, so which one do you want?” the woman asked with a smile on her face.

“Core Formation Realm, you say,” Wang Ming mumbled with a frown, and then said, “Well, I am going to need something better than these ones.” “Hmm, better… I should have guessed.

You must be a 2-Star Alchemist, right?” the woman asked, to which Wang Ming nodded his head.

The woman sighed.

“Hah, I should have expected this, but I have to be the bearer of bad news.” “Bad news?” Wang Ming raised an eyebrow.

“Yes, the last cauldron capable of making pills for the Golden Core Realm has already been bought by an Elder.

We are out of stock.

Maybe you should go to the other peaks.

Normally they wouldn’t sell, but I am sure after your partners killed Black Church members, the Peak Masters wouldn’t mind selling you one,” the woman said.

“What about cauldrons for making True Core Realm?” Wang Ming asked curiously, and the woman who heard this froze and looked at Wang Ming suspiciously.

“You can only find them at the auction in the Black Bamboo Kingdom capital, where the Qi Family, the number one Alchemic family, sometimes auctions them.

You won’t find them anywhere else,” the woman explained.

“Qi Family, huh,” Wang Ming muttered the name and then looked back at the woman.

“What about Spirit Fires, don’t tell me you don’t have those either?” Wang Ming asked, and the woman who heard his question stiffened a bit.

“Cough, yeah, we don’t have one.

You see, Spirit Fires are expensive.

Jade Peak, being the last in the rankings, doesn’t receive resources like the other peaks, so I did not have the funds to buy any to stock the shop.” The woman’s face turned red in embarrassment.

“…” Wang Ming had a blank look as his lips twitched and his head throbbed in irritation.

“It’s the Peak Master’s fault for being lazy,” the woman said hurriedly, but then regretted her words when she heard a familiar voice.

“What is my fault, disciple?

And did you call me lazy?” Wang Ming turned his head toward the source of the sound and saw Zhou Huixin walking toward them with a raised eyebrow.

The disciple’s body stiffened when she saw this, and without a second thought she escaped before the Peak Master could question her, or else she would be punished in the worst possible way for talking behind her back-the legendary punishment: paperwork.

Everyone hated it; the disciples would rather go have a life-and-death fight than do something as boring as paperwork, which was Zhou Huixin’s incomplete work.

“Tsk, another coward.

I had hoped she would continue to insult me so I could dump my work on her,” Zhou Huixin said softly.

But Wang Ming, who was near her, heard her words and his lips twitched.

Zhou Huixin then turned toward Wang Ming and a smirk appeared on her face.

“I thought I wouldn’t be able to see you for a month… but you’re back so early.

Don’t tell me they drained you dry.” “As if,” Wang Ming replied with a snort.

“Tsk, that’s why I told them to let me join you for an orgy, but they refused,” Zhou Huixin pouted slightly.

She had wanted to join them for their duel but was rejected by the girls, as they wanted him for themselves, and since she wasn’t his Dao Companion, she wasn’t allowed to join in the fun.

Wang Ming rolled his eyes as he shrugged.

“Now, what’s with this?

Do you want to try being an Alchemist?” Zhou Huixin asked while walking toward the counter, which was full of Alchemic Cauldrons.

“Not try being one, I am actually an Alchemist.

I was looking for cauldrons suitable for making True Core Realm pills and a Spirit Fire, but it seems the Peak’s financial situation is not good,” Wang Ming said with a pointed look, which caused Zhou Huixin to cough in embarrassment.

“You are going to the capital, right?” Zhou Huixin diverted the topic and asked instead.

“Yep, I am.

I was always curious to visit the capital and wanted to see how different it is from other places, and now I have a reason to go,” Wang Ming said with a shrug.

“Good, then I can assign you this task instead of someone else,” Zhou Huixin said, and Wang Ming raised an eyebrow when he saw a spatial ring fly toward him.

He caught it and checked what was inside with his spiritual energy, and his eyes widened as he saw a shocking scene – there were millions of spiritual stones and gold piled together like small mountains.

“Is this for me, Senior?” Wang Ming said but then paused.

“No wait, how in the heavens does Jade Peak have this amount of wealth?” “This is not for you,” Zhou Huixin’s eyes twitched at his last words.

“Due to the invasion, many of the arrays were destroyed.

The Sect Master handed them to me to go to the capital and buy them, as the capital is the only place where they sell arrays or have Array Masters.

Some sects have them, but our sect is not one of them,” Zhou Huixin calmly explained.

“I see,” Wang Ming nodded his head and then was about to leave.

“Wait, there is another matter!” Zhou Huixin shouted all of a sudden.
