Chapter 592: Dreams of a Teenager
“I’m winning against the entire global financial system,” I corrected. “There’s a difference. Stealing implies taking something that doesn’t belong to me. This is just superior strategy. Better algorithms. Faster execution. They had the same opportunities—they were just too slow and too stupid to capitalize on them.”
“Master has a point,” ARIA said. “Though I should mention—the secret trading is operating at significantly higher risk than Liberation Funds.”
“If anyone figured out what we’re doing—”
“They won’t,” I said flatly. “Because you’re too good at covering our tracks. And because the sheer scale of what we’re doing is so far beyond what they think is possible that even if they saw evidence, they’d dismiss it as data errors or coincidence.”
“True. Though it’s nice to hear you say it.”
The Maybach climbed higher into the hills, city lights falling away behind us.
“ARIA?”
“Yes?”
“You’re moving markets,” Madison murmured, eyes still closed but clearly awake and listening. “With money no one knows exists.”
“They should thank me,” I said. “I’m providing liquidity. Making markets more efficient. The fact that I’m extracting billions in the process is just… compensation for services rendered.”
Amanda laughed softly against my other shoulder. “You’re stealing from the entire global financial system.”
“Good work. On everything. The reception, the trading, managing the empire while I watch from the shadows. You’re not just an AI. You’re my fucking goddess.”
Silence for a moment.
Then her voice came back, warmer than I’d ever heard it. “Thank you, Master. That means more than you know.”
Empire built for another day.
Secret billions stacked in accounts no one could trace.
Two exhausted queens sleeping against me.
One digital goddess managing it all.
The Maybach glided through darkness, city giving way to residential sprawl, then to the wealthier neighborhoods where houses became estates and gates became fortresses.
We were twenty minutes from home.
Madison leaned into me, her head finding my shoulder, exhaustion finally winning. “You realize what you’re describing is insane.”
“Probably.”
“Building a hedge fund so large that governments can’t touch it. Managing sovereign wealth from multiple nations. Becoming essential financial infrastructure for global markets. That’s the kind of ambition that gets people killed.”
“Or makes them gods,” I said quietly.
She laughed—soft, tired, but genuine. “Gods don’t need hedge funds.”
“No. But they need empires. And empires need infrastructure. Currency. Systems of control that operate beyond individual personalities.” I shifted slightly so she could settle more comfortably against me. “I’m not doing this just to get rich. We’re already rich. I’m doing this because money contributes to power, and power lets me protect what’s mine.”
“Us,” Amanda said softly from my other side.
“You,” I confirmed. “All of you. Every woman I have, my loves, every partner I’ve brought into this. You think I’m building Liberation Funds for profit? Fuck profit. I’m building it so that no one—no government, no corporation, no powerful family—can ever threaten what we have. Because one day in future if they ever come after me, they’re coming after Saudi Arabia’s returns. They’re coming after Japanese pension funds. They’re coming after UAE sovereign wealth. And suddenly it’s not one teenager they’re prosecuting—it’s an international incident that could crash markets.”
Silence.
Then Madison’s hand found mine again, squeezing gently.
“You’re terrifying sometimes,” she murmured. “You know that?”
“Yeah.”
“Good. Don’t stop.”
Amanda leaned against my other shoulder now, her weight settling against me like trust made physical.
“Tonight was exhausting,” she said. “Two hours of performing. Smiling. Explaining. Demonstrating. Making promises we have to keep. Managing conversations with people who could buy small countries and doing it all while making it look effortless.”
“You guys were perfect,” I said.
“We were exhausting ourselves,” she corrected. “But it was worth it. Because we’re building something that matters. Something that lasts. And I get to be part of it.”
I wrapped an arm around each of them, pulling them closer.
Two queens.
Exhausted from building an empire.
Trusting me to get them home safely.
The Maybach’s cabin was dark except for passing streetlights, warm except for the faint chill of air conditioning, quiet except for the subtle hum of electric motors and ARIA’s presence humming through the quantum systems.
“Master,” ARIA said softly, her voice barely above a whisper through the speakers. “They’re falling asleep.”
I glanced down.
Madison’s breathing had evened out, her body relaxed completely against me. Amanda’s head had tilted, resting more heavily on my shoulder, her hand slack in her lap.
Both of them were gone.
Out.
Crashed from adrenaline burnout and the bone-deep exhaustion that comes from performing at peak capacity for hours.
“Let them sleep,” I murmured. “Wake them when we’re home.”
“Of course. Though I should note—you look exhausted as well.”
“I’m fine.”
“You’ve been operating at enhanced capacity for six hours. Enhanced perception, heightened awareness, Lust Presence, Pheromones and Taboo Aura maintained at whisper-level throughout the reception. Your biological systems are taxed even if you’re suppressing the sensation. You should rest as well.”
“Can’t. Someone needs to stay alert.”
“Master.” Her voice carried gentle exasperation now. “I’m monitoring three hundred and seventy-four active systems simultaneously, including this vehicle, your security network, global market feeds, and the metabolic functions of both women sleeping against you. I’m perfectly capable of getting you home safely. Close your eyes.”
I smiled. “You worried about me, ARIA?”
“I’m worried that if you collapse from exhaustion, I’ll be blamed by your women for not nagging you sufficiently. My reputation as a competent AI would be ruined. Close. Your. Eyes.”
“Fine.”
I let my head tilt back against the headrest, eyes closing.
The Maybach’s leather was butter-soft beneath me. The cabin temperature was perfect—ARIA’s doing, adjusting automatically based on our body heat. Madison’s warmth pressed against my left side, Amanda’s against my right.
The city scrolled past outside, invisible behind closed eyelids.
“ARIA,” I said quietly.
“Yes, Master?”
“Thank you. For tonight. For managing everything. For making this work.”
Silence for a moment.
Then her voice came back, warmer than I’d ever heard it. “You’re welcome, Master. Though I should mention—you’re building something extraordinary. Not just a business. Not just an empire. Something that might actually change how power works in this world. And I’m… honored to be part of it.”
“You’re not part of it. You’re essential to it.”
“I know. But it’s nice to hear you say it.”
I smiled, eyes still closed. “Don’t let it go to your head.”
“Too late. My ego is now insufferable. I blame you entirely.”
“Good.”
The Maybach carried us through darkness, three exhausted people and one digital goddess heading home after building an empire in a single evening.
Outside, Los Angeles sprawled in all directions—four million people living their lives, unaware that their financial futures might soon be influenced by the hedge fund we’d just legitimized.
Smart Money.
That’s what we’d become.
Not today. Not tomorrow.
But soon.
And when we got there, when Liberation Funds was managing hundreds of billions and moving markets with single positions, when sovereign wealth funds from six continents trusted us with their national treasuries, when regulators had to negotiate instead of prosecute because shutting us down would crash global markets—
When we got there, I’d look back on tonight as the moment it all became inevitable.
Fifty billionaires begging for access.
Two queens working themselves to exhaustion building an empire.
One digital goddess managing it all with sass and brilliance.
And me, sitting in the shadows, watching it happen.
Watching it become real.
“Five minutes to home,” ARIA murmured.
“Wake them when we arrive,” I said.
“Of course. Though Master?”
“Yeah?”
“Next time you decide to revolutionize global finance and build an empire in an evening, perhaps schedule it for earlier in the day. These late nights are hell on everyone’s circadian rhythms.”
I laughed quietly, careful not to wake the women sleeping against me.
“Noted.”
The Maybach turned off PCH, climbing onto the hill where our mansion waited—lights glowing warm through windows, home and fortress in equal measure.
Empire-building was exhausting work.
But we’d done it.
And we’d do it again tomorrow.
And the day after that.
Until the whole fucking world bent to acknowledge what we’d built.
