“No secret, Lan Lan,” he muffled into her skin, his eyes shining with a secret victory. “I’m just a very talented fox.”

He knew that if he ever told her about this side of herself, she would be so embarrassed she might never look at him again. It was his secret…a secret he would take to his grave.
