Chapter 224: Chapter 224: Found the Third Female
When they finally reached home, she expected all three of them to walk into their house. But instead, Rong Ye suddenly turned toward the next tree house, the small one beside theirs.

That tree house belonged to them too, but since it was far too tiny for all of them, they only used it as a storage space.

Even so, it was still part of their home.

Su Qinglan blinked in confusion as the two males walked straight into that small tree house. She hesitated for a moment before following them inside.

The moment she stepped inside, she froze, her breath catching in her throat.

Because right there, inside the dim tree house, on the rough hide spread across the floor, a petite figure lay still, her back facing them, her long hair wet and clinging to her skin.

And beside her, sitting on the floor with a dark, unreadable face, was Han Jue.

Su Qinglan’s entire body stiffened. She had not expected to see him here. And she definitely had not expected to see him like this, with a tense expression, his jaw tight, his eyes strangely conflicted.

Han Jue lifted his head and looked at her with a heavy expression.

“Lan Lan,” he said slowly. “We found her.”

Su Qinglan’s heart dropped.

He continued, his voice low and tense, “We found a female unconscious in the mountain. She was almost buried in the deep mud. If not for my wolf’s senses, we wouldn’t have noticed her at all.”

Rong Ye’s eyes were lowered. Hu Yan looked grim. They all turned to her, waiting, as if they were expecting her to react in some special way.

Su Qinglan felt her breath shake. She slowly stepped forward, her eyes fixed on the still figure lying there. The female was tiny, soaked, and breathing so faintly that Su Qinglan almost thought she wasn’t breathing at all.

A loneliness she didn’t understand twisted inside her chest.

A female, alone in the mountain, in this weather?

When her eyes dropped lower, she sucked in a sharp breath.

The female’s belly was slightly raised.

“She’s pregnant,” Su Qinglan whispered in shock.

But before she could say anything more, she noticed something else.

Han Jue and Rong Ye both looked even more panicked after her words. Their expressions tightened further, and Su Qinglan realized they weren’t telling her everything.

“What happened?” she asked, staring straight at Han Jue. “Are you hiding something from me?”

Han Jue swallowed once, then slowly lifted his hand and gestured toward the female.

“Lan Lan, come and see her face.”

Her heart thudded painfully. For some reason, her legs felt heavy as she slowly moved to the female’s side. She knelt down, reached out with trembling fingers, and gently lifted the wet strands of hair covering the female’s face.

The moment her face was revealed, Su Qinglan gasped sharply. Her hand froze midair.

Her mind went blank as her entire body turned rigid.

Because the face that stared back at her, even unconscious, pale, and half covered in mud and rainwater, looked just like her own.

Not exactly the same, but at least 80 percent similar.

The small delicate features, the shape of the nose, the gentle curve of the lips, even the eyelashes, everything reminded her of herself.

Only the hair color was different.

Su Qinglan’s lips parted, but no sound came out. She looked at Han Jue with wide, shocked eyes.

Han Jue only shook his head helplessly. “I don’t know, Lan Lan. But she really looks like you.”

Hu Yan, who had been silent until now, immediately came forward. He stopped behind Su Qinglan, staring back and forth between her and the unconscious female.

His mouth opened slightly, as if he didn’t even know how to react.

How could the little female look so much like his own female?

Even he couldn’t understand it.

Han Jue exhaled deeply and asked, “Lan Lan, is she your long lost sister? Or someone related to you? Why does she resemble you so much?”

Su Qinglan shook her head immediately.

“No. I don’t know anything. I don’t even know if I ever had a sister. I don’t understand…”

Her voice cracked slightly.

“How could someone who looks like me appear alone in the mountains? Where is her family? Why was she left there? Why was she buried in the mud?”

Her heart grew cold as she thought about it.

If Han Jue and Rong Ye hadn’t found her in time…

This female would have died. And so would her child.

Su Qinglan quickly grabbed the female’s hand. It was ice cold. So cold that Su Qinglan felt shivers run through her own body.

Her senses told her clearly that the female was on the verge of miscarrying.

The tiny life inside her was hanging by the thinnest thread.

But the female herself… she was worse. She was too cold and injured. Her breathing was faint, like a dying candle.

Su Qinglan’s heart tightened painfully.

She didn’t care if this female looked like her or not… she needed to save her.

Immediately, Su Qinglan began channeling warmth into the female’s hand, her healing energy flowing steadily. The female didn’t react at all, not even a twitch. Her breath stayed dangerously faint.

Su Qinglan bit her lip and looked at Hu Yan.

“Hu Yan, go bring warm water. Now.”

Without a word, Hu Yan nodded and rushed out.

She looked at Rong Ye next. “Rong Ye, bring my medicinal basket. Hurry.”

Rong Ye also nodded and ran off.

Only Han Jue stayed behind.

He watched Su Qinglan silently as she poured all her energy into stabilizing the female. Her brows were furrowed, her expression firm, her breaths steady.

Even when the female didn’t show the slightest improvement, Su Qinglan didn’t stop for a single moment.

Han Jue’s heart tightened painfully.

He wanted to tell her to stop, to rest, and let someone else help.

But he couldn’t.

What if this female really had something to do with his Lan Lan?

What if they were connected in a way he couldn’t understand yet?

And if something happened to this female…

How would he ever face Su Qinglan?

He clenched his fists helplessly.

He should have found her earlier.

Maybe then she wouldn’t be in such a terrible state.

Now he could only watch silently as his Lan Lan desperately tried to save a stranger…A stranger who looked just like her.

Su Qinglan did not waste a single heartbeat.

The moment Rong Ye and Hu Yan disappeared from the doorway, she placed both her palms firmly over the unconscious female’s abdomen and chest.

She channeled her energy without any hesitation, using it to the full capacity of her plant type ability at level three.

Because this time there was no tribe, no bystanders, no curious eyes, no one who could judge or fear her.

Only Han Jue remained, silently kneeling behind her. And Han Jue was the one person in this world she trusted enough to show her true ability without hesitation.

She took in a deep breath and shut her eyes.

Immediately, a warm, bright flow of energy surged out of her palms, far stronger, purer, and more intense than she had ever dared use in front of others.

The air inside the small tree house instantly warmed, like a gentle sunrise blooming into a cold winter dawn.

The injured female’s body absorbed the warmth hungrily.

Su Qinglan focused harder.
