110: Chapter 110: Terrorizing the Fat Bull Tribe 110: Chapter 110: Terrorizing the Fat Bull Tribe The sun was still warm when they reached the edge of the Niuzan Plains, and Su Qinglan’s heart was already full of excitement.

She had never seen such a wide, open place in the Beast World.

The air smelled of earth and grass, and everywhere she looked, she saw fields stretching endlessly, with beasts moving slowly between the rows.

Her eyes sparkled.

“This place is huge!” she said happily, leaning forward a little on Xuan Long’s head.

“They actually live out here!

Not in caves or forests!” From above, she could see the Fat Bull Tribe’s settlement; it was a cluster of big, round huts made from grass and thick wooden poles.

They looked a bit crooked and sloppy but still warm and lived-in.

Su Qinglan smiled.

“Their houses are different…from us.” Her eyes softened as she thought to herself.

Maybe every tribe has its own way of living… These ones must be herbivores.

They don’t live in forests…

probably because they could get hunted by other beasts.

But just as she was thinking that, things suddenly changed.

As Xuan Long glided closer in his massive emerald snake form, the calm scene exploded into chaos.

Someone from the field screamed.

“The big snake is here!” Then another shouted from the huts, “Hide!

Take the cubs inside!” “Protect the females!” All around them, beasts dropped what they were holding and ran in panic.

Some tried to hide inside the huts; others grabbed their children and ran toward the far end of the field.

Dust and straw flew up everywhere.

The peaceful field turned into a scene of pure panic.

“Wait…what’s happening?!” Su Qinglan cried, clutching tightly onto Xuan Long’s horns.

“Why are they screaming?!” But Xuan Long didn’t stop.

His eyes were calm, cold even, as he moved forward, his massive body gliding smoothly over the field.

“Xuan Long…wait!

You’re scaring them!” She shouted, but he didn’t answer.

The huge snake reached the tribe’s crude wooden fence, a shaky thing made of branches tied together with vines.

With one flick of his tail, it snapped like dry twigs.

The entire fence broke apart, scattering wood and dust everywhere.

“Ah!

Xuan Long!” Su Qinglan gasped in disbelief.

“You just…

you just trampled their fence!” What happened to her, gentle Xuan Long?

Beasts screamed again.

Some dropped to the ground; others hid behind the huts.

And then, from the middle of the chaos, a trembling old beastman slowly came forward.

His horns were small and worn down by age, and his hands shook as he bowed low before the towering emerald snake.

“M-Mighty Lord,” the old man stammered, his voice weak and shaking.

“Please… please let us live.

We are all old and useless… If you want, we will leave here right away.

Spare the tribe…” Su Qinglan’s mouth fell open in shock.

“Why he is…” Before she could even finish, Xuan Long moved.

His long tail slithered forward, wrapping around the old man and lifting him up off the ground.

The man’s legs dangled helplessly in the air as the giant snake brought him up face-to-face.

Su Qinglan’s heart jumped into her throat.

“Xuan Long!” she shouted.

“What are you doing?!” But Xuan Long’s eyes turned into slits and gleamed dangerously as he hissed, his deep voice cold and sharp like steel.

“Bring me all the white seeds,” he said.

“I am waiting here.

My female likes it.” Then, as easily as he had lifted him, he dropped the old man back onto the ground with a heavy thud.

The old beastman scrambled up, bowing again and again.

“Y-Yes, Lord!

Right away!

Bring the seeds!

Hurry, all of you!

Bring all the white seeds before the great serpent gets angry!” The entire tribe burst into motion.

Beasts ran left and right, shouting, tripping over each other, and spilling grain in panic.

Children cried.

Some beasts tried to drag the rice bag from storage; others just fell to their knees and prayed.

The peaceful Niuzan Plains turned into pure chaos all because of one snake.

Su Qinglan sat frozen on top of Xuan Long’s head, staring down at the madness below.

Her mind couldn’t even process what just happened.

“Xuan Long…” she whispered, her voice trembling between anger and disbelief.

“You… you can’t just threaten them like that!” He didn’t answer.

His golden eyes stayed fixed on the terrified beasts running below.

His tail flicked once, calmly, as if none of this mattered.

Su Qinglan’s heart pounded hard.

She could barely breathe.

This wasn’t the calm, gentle Xuan Long she knew in the cave.

This one looked wild and dangerous, like a real ancient beast from the legends, feared by everyone.

And yet, all he said in that deep voice was, “They will bring it.

You wanted the white grain.” Su Qinglan stared down at the chaos, feeling her stomach twist.

She had wanted rice… not this.

“Xuan Long,” she whispered, “you’re scaring them half to death…” He didn’t reply, still towering over everyone like a great mountain of green scales and glowing eyes.

The poor bulls were trembling so hard that one of them even fell face-first into the mud.

That was it.

Su Qinglan couldn’t take it anymore.

Before Xuan Long could stop her, she quickly slid down from his head, her hands pressing against his cool scales for balance.

She landed on the soft dirt and brushed herself off.

“Su Qinglan!” Xuan Long hissed quietly, his tail twitching, “Stay back!” But she was already walking toward the terrified tribe, her hands raised slightly.

“Don’t rush!

Don’t rush, please!

We don’t want your rice!” she said in her softest, most polite voice.

“We’re here to exchange for it!” Her voice was gentle and sweet, like she was trying to calm frightened children.

But the problem was… none of them heard her.

Su Qinglan stood there, blinking, feeling completely invisible.

“Huh?” she muttered.

“Are they… ignoring me?” She looked up at Xuan Long helplessly and gave him a desperate look…

the kind that clearly said, It’s all your fault for scaring them.

Xuan Long blinked once, then let out a long hiss that echoed across the whole field.

“Are you not listening?” he said, his voice deep and sharp.

“My female is speaking to you.”
