Chapter 332: edutiw
Zhao Lusi’s eyes narrowed with interest.

“Another one?” she asked, voice smooth but carrying a dangerous spark.

Xuanwu bobbed his massive head up and down as if his life depended on it.

“Y-Yes, Your Majesty! There’s another one! Exceptionally talented!”

Zhao Lusi arched a brow.

“Speak.”

Xuanwu took a deep, shaky breath.

“At the age of thirty, she united the entire Qin States… and renamed it the Tharz Kingdom.”

Zhao Lusi’s eyes widened faintly.

Lin Zhaoyue gasped softly.

Fang Yuan blinked.

“She ruled for a hundred years,” Xuanwu continued rapidly, “bringing unity, stability, and prosperity to the entire region!”

“One hundred years…?” Lin Zhaoyue whispered.

Xuanwu nodded eagerly.

“Yes! After a century, she passed the throne to her nephew and then vanished from the mortal world—without a trace.”

Zhao Lusi’s interest deepened.

“was it because she wishes to focus on cultivation?”

“Yes! A century later, she reappeared — founding a new sect in the heart of the Tharz Kingdom. Under her guidance it grew into the mightiest sect in the entire continent!”

Even Zhao Lusi lifted an eyebrow at that.

“At the age of two hundred and thirty,” Xuanwu said reverently,

“she reached the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm.”

“And now—”

He swallowed hard.

“She is in seclusion… preparing to break through to the Hollow Spirit Realm.”

A low hum of energy crackled in the air.

Zhao Lusi’s eyes sparkled with open delight.

“Well now… that is impressive.”

Xuanwu nodded wildly.

“I-I have high hopes for her, Master Zhao Lusi! Her name is—”

He paused, letting the name sink like a stone into the earth.

“Xiao Bai.”

His voice softened, reverent.

“Xiao Bai… Sect Master of the strongest sect on this continent.”

Fang Yuan froze.

Xiao Bai? That girl used to rule a kingdom before?

Zhao Lusi clasped her hands together, expression bright.

“Well! In that case…”

she smiled at Fang Yuan with amusement,

“your world is far more interesting than I thought.”

She looked genuinely pleased.

“That means I may get two disciples from this realm.”

Zhao Lusi lifted her chin, eyes narrowing at the ancient tortoise.

“You will be spared this time,” she declared calmly.

Xuanwu exhaled in raw relief.

“But—” she added, smile sharp as a blade, “there will not be a second chance. Understood?”

Xuanwu bobbed his massive head so fast his shell rattled.

“Y-Yes, Your Majesty! Thank you! Thank you from the bottom of my shell!”

She dismissed him with a flick of her fingers, then turned her attention sharply to Fang Yuan.

“Now then—you.”

She pointed at him.

Fang Yuan blinked. “Me…?”

“Yes, obviously you. Did you think I was asking your wife?”

Lin Zhaoyue stiffened.

Fang Yuan coughed lightly.

“Well, I… she actually has far more achievements under her belt than I do.”

Zhao Lusi’s face darkened in annoyance.

She slowly turned her head toward Xuanwu.

Xuanwu stiffened like a guilty child.

“Master, you see… he’s only thirty years old,” the tortoise said weakly, trying to help.

Zhao Lusi froze.

Her eyes widened—

Then brightened like exploding stars.

Fang Yuan suddenly couldn’t move.

His entire body locked in place.

Not even his heartbeat dared accelerate.

She spread her divine sense over him in an instant—

A sweeping, suffocating force that pierced through every layer of his cultivation.

Her expression changed.

Her divine sense snapped back.

And Fang Yuan’s freedom returned as fast as it was taken.

Zhao Lusi stepped closer, voice trembling with excitement:

“How did you do that?”

Fang Yuan opened his mouth to answer—

But she cut herself off.

She clutched her forehead.

“No, don’t tell me… don’t tell me…”

Her eyes grew wider and wider, shimmering with realization.

Then—

A whisper escaped her:

“This is it. This is it. He can rival that accursed elder’s son. Hahaha!”

She laughed—

Elegant, delighted, borderline unhinged.

Then she snapped her gaze back to Fang Yuan, eyes blazing with fiercely protective pride.

“My disciple,” she announced, “I will personally teach your wife as well. And—”

she waved her sleeve dramatically,

“—I’ll allow you to monitor your family here whenever you wish.”

Lin Zhaoyue’s mouth fell open.

Fang Yuan stared at Zhao Lusi like she was a celestial calamity wearing makeup.

Zhao Lusi continued without pausing:

“I’ll even assign this beast here—” she jabbed a thumb at Xuanwu “—to take care of your clan. Now, where is your family located?”

Fang Yuan blinked, stunned by her generosity, terror, and insanity all mixed into one woman.

“…Mount Skyhowl,” Xuanwu answered for him, heavy and rumbling.

Zhao Lusi’s face lit up like a lantern.

“Perfect! I’ll also commission the Feng Clan to take care of your people.”

A cough echoed from Xuanwu.

“Ahem… about that…”

Zhao Lusi snapped her gaze toward the tortoise, irritation sparking.

“What happened?”

Xuanwu slowly turned his giant head toward Fang Yuan.

The silence grew uncomfortable.

Fang Yuan blinked.

…No. No, don’t you dare.

Xuanwu exhaled.

“This man here… annihilated the entire Feng Clan.”

The wind stopped.

Lin Zhaoyue swallowed hard.

Even the Saberfang hid its head behind her legs.

Zhao Lusi stared at Fang Yuan.

Her voice dropped to a whisper.

“…I was raising them for a very important experiment.”

Silence.

A long, terrifying silence.

Fang Yuan’s soul prepared to leave his body.

But then—

Zhao Lusi exhaled.

A long, exasperated, tired exhale.

“Alright…” she muttered.

“Fine. Survival of the fittest. Whatever.”

She pointed sharply at Fang Yuan.

“But you owe me one. A big one.”

Fang Yuan nodded so fast his neck cracked.

“One month,” Zhao Lusi said firmly, stepping backward as the sky rippled behind her.

“I’ll return exactly one month from now. Be prepared.”

She glanced once more at Fang Yuan, smiling wickedly.

“Take care, my disciple.”

And then—

She vanished.
