Chapter 568: So… I hear you Like Sisters
The old lady, hiding her true self, carefully brewed the eastern tea, bitter scents mixed with the sweetness of the honey-braised meat. Each sister enjoyed a different type of cuisine, making it almost impossible to find the ideal restaurant.

So, Nikolai decided on an atmospheric and classical place, specialised in serving monster customers. The cost was quite high, but the lady who ran the service spent her entire life travelling the world to enhance her craft.

“Kai, look! This place served so many different dishes. I want the lemon duck~ and some dumplings!”

Lunaria’s brighter atmosphere brought a sense of peace to the table, a large half-circle, with Nikolai sitting along the straight side and the other three around the arc.

Nikolai leaned back after helping each of his wives sit. Anya’s plump thighs squished over the sides of the small wooden stool as she winked at him, lifting her caramel thigh, revealing it beneath her dress. “Brother~ I want to eat meat, lots of it.”

“Please don’t be so vulgar at the dining table.”

Selene tapped the menu with a graceful flick, choosing a variety of dishes. “I really want to try this dish. May I, Nikolai?”

No matter how wealthy their families were, she always seemed stingier than her sisters. The moment she arrived at this restaurant, that went out the window. “Oh? Are you sure, I thought you’d prefer the steak.”

The dishes ranged from three-star meals from the culinary kings living in France or Italy. From snails to steak, soups and delicious desserts. The fish dishes ranged from the eastern specialities to western masterpieces.

“There’s no need to hold back, tonight is a special day, order whatever you want.”

Nikolai didn’t rush them. He gently sipped the warm match, a bitter yet deep flavour filling his mouth after choosing a selection of fish, meat and eastern dishes himself. His eyes narrowed into thin slits as each woman showed their delight in different ways.

Anya ordered a second steak, upgrading from high-quality to top-quality wagyu. “Baby, you’re so kind~ it’s made such a mouth watering sauce.”

Woosh!

Instantly, the old lady’s figure split into several pretty clones. It was then that Nikolai’s lips curled into a smile. ‘Does she share a relationship with my wife?’ The technique of the golden fox clan wasn’t one easily gained.

Only those with the thickest blood.

“Even the maids serving us are clones… interesting.” Selene’s plump lips squished around her straw as she drank from her juice. The bright orange and red colours stained her tongue as she licked the traces from her mouth.

“Hohoho~ do not worry about me, young ladies.”

The woman’s old-fashioned style of speaking didn’t match the beauty who placed the plates and a small hotplate for the duck. “I hope you enjoy this old fashioned cooking of mine.”

With a crooked smile, her clone vanished.

The small kitchen puffed with smoke and flames, hidden in the small, atmospheric shrine.

It didn’t take long for the starters to leave the kitchen: A pile of soft, fluffy dumplings, seared skewers with lamb and spicy sauce and various other dishes. The scent carried thick spices, the enticing aroma of ground beef and delicious fats bubbling on the grill.

“Ah. This is so~ good.”

“Mhm, thanks honey. I didn’t know this place existed…” Lunaria sipped her sweet, honey wine after the spicy skewers and a dip of chilli paste.

The small restaurant had a single table, and various trees from around the world wrapped around it. Sakuras, willow trees and even sycamores fluttered in the wind while the sizzle of the old woman’s oven grew louder.

Nikolai chewed a skewer offered to him by Anya, the spicy paste a little overwhelming as he gasped for air. He glanced at Selene, who chewed the dumplings with a brilliant smile, her hand touching her cheek with every bite.

“What?” She glanced at him with a sullen look. “Do you want some?” Selene’s eyes shimmered red as she lifted another beef dumpling in her chopsticks, teasing him with a foxy smile before swallowing it in a single bite.

“Greedy pig~ where have they all gone?”

“Fufufu, who’re you calling a greedy pig? Hey, lets have a little chat.”

Ever since she became pregnant and her stomach grew, whenever anyone mentioned getting fat or eating too much, Selene’s reaction became extremely violent.

‘My wife has become a hooligan!?’

Before Nikolai could speak, she pouted, turning away from him.

“Kukuku, sister why are you so mad about the truth?!” Lunaria leaned forward, her lips covered in grease from the kebabs she devoured.

Selene’s chopsticks snapped shut with a sharp click. “Say that again,” she said sweetly, leaking just enough aura to make the table vibrate.

Lunaria froze mid-bite. “E-Eh? I was joking?” She laughed nervously and leaned back. “You know I love you, sister!”

Anya burst out laughing, using this time to lean against Nikolai and enjoy the special wine made for pregnant monsters. “Careful, Luna our sister is scary when she’s hungry.”

“Anya.” Selene’s cold voice brought an ice torrent that almost froze the food.

‘Shit…’

“C-Calm down, my sweet, pretty wife.” Nikolai cleared his throat and slid a plate of grilled fish between them. “I brought us here to eat. This is supposed to be peaceful.”

Selene glanced at him, then huffed and resumed eating, though she deliberately stole a piece from his plate. “Hmph.”

He didn’t protest.

Soon, more dishes appeared, one by one, the beautiful clones brought crispy lemon duck carved with precision, rich sauces steaming, the hotplate sizzling softly. The old lady’s clones worked in silence, expressions proud.

For a short while, everyone stopped arguing. They spoke about meaningless businesses, how Nikolai planned to head to the Djinn homeworld, and Anya started suffering from morning sickness and needed help from Nagisa.

The stories were insignificant, maybe lacking romance.

Yet all three women peeked at their husbands while eating, gently carving and slipping parts of their chosen dishes onto his plate with soft expressions filled with affection.

Eventually, the meat vanished, and the heat from the bonfire faded into smoke.

“Phew…..” Anya covered her mouth. The little plump fat on her belly almost doubled after the huge meal, and she leaned closer to Nikolai than the others, relying on him as she happily muttered his name. “Ehehe.”

“Are you sleepy?”

“Nn… no way. How could I sleep, tonight is just starting.” Her glazed eyes slid open to glance at him from below.

“Darling, your wife is cold~ give me some warmth.”

Selene extended both arms with a pitiful face. Nikolai frowned at her sneaky actions. He couldn’t stand to see his woman suffer, but the little grin on her lips made him doubt her. ‘Alas, what can a husband do…’

“Come on, I’ll take you all to the warm hotel, let’s go.”

The old woman bowed neatly the moment he stood up to take both Anya and Selene into his arms. With a slight bow, he showed his thanks. Her lips twisted into a wolfish grin. “Have a wonderful evening, Patriarch Volkov.” Despite her wrinkled face and old looks, her voice was soft, seductive and coquettish.

“Luna?” He called out to the last sister, her face red from the wine.

Because she wasn’t pregnant, she tried to keep pace with Nikolai, drinking when he did.

This led to her lying face down on the table, mumbling about how she was jealous and that Nikolai was a wicked man for having so many wives.

He smiled bitterly while carrying the girls to the car. It seemed like a long distance, but thanks to the special formations created by the old woman, with two steps, they found themselves beside the expensive car once again.

“Master!”

The maids seemed to be a little confused and rushed to his side upon seeing the state of Anya and Selene.

“Husband don’t abandon me~ I’ll do anything you want, fufufu… I even cleaned my…” Before Selene could finish her words, he quickly covered her mouth and lifted her into the car, and gently placed her on the soft, cushy seat.

“Don’t speak, we’re in public. My lovely wife, I will see what you have for me later.”

“Ufufufu~ okay.”

Ever since the night with Nikita, Selene became aggressive; she even asked her mothers and Nagisa for tips and tricks. This caused Nikolai’s spine to tingle when she mentioned bleaching or other tools.

“Baby, My feet hurt.” Anya babbled and lifted her legs, the soft brown flesh of her thighs pressing against his leg as she tried to pull him down. “Come, feel the freshness, hehe.”

“Be good, we have to get to the hotel.”

“Oh~ you booked a hotel? Naughty… I will let you!”

Slam!

Nikolai turned back to the mysterious peak, his cheeks dripping with sweat from the offence of his lazy, pregnant wives.

“Let’s get Luna…’

He stepped to re-enter the formation, and a figure appeared at the edge of the mist, like a mysterious beauty wrapped in the fog. She strode towards him with unstable, but confident steps.

“I really… really…. missed you.”

Luna’s body covered two metres with each movement as she jumped at Nikolai.

He could only spread his arms and catch her, then, using the momentum, he spun several times and pushed her back against the car.

With a thud, he crushed her plump behind against the door, like a squished peach.

“I missed you too, Luna.”

“Nn, Kai…”

She opened her lips, and the thick scent of alcohol, fruit and meat mixed, and yet he didn’t dislike it; if anything, he wanted to taste it more.

“Hm, I heard you like to sleep with your sister~ Kukuku, such a bad guy.”

Nikolai sealed her lips with a kiss, his eyes sharp and filled with passionate fire as if to say.

“Is this the answer you wanted?”
