Chapter 577: No Longer A Little Dragon
“Sara apparently went abroad during this time and joined a mercenary organization,” Joe said with a slightly surprised tone.

He himself had been shocked when he found out what Sara had been up to, and even now, every time he mentioned it, the surprise was still clear in his voice.

He never thought that girl would become part of a mercenary group. Though it seems she also joined a guild, her main focus is apparently on her mercenary identity.

“A mercenary? Why would she join a mercenary organization?” Daniel frowned. Even though their relationship had turned sour after those incidents, that girl was truly talented.

If he wasn’t mistaken, she had a high-ranking class, and her talent was almost on par with James, if not even stronger.

Joining a mercenary group didn’t make much sense. She could’ve easily joined any guild she wanted and become one of their most important members.

She could have even gone to the Central Continent and surely shined there as well. But a mercenary group? Mercenary organizations were extremely dangerous places, and he had never heard anything good about them.

“Seems so. Although she’s also part of a very powerful guild and holds a high position there, it looks like she’s more focused on her work as a mercenary,” Joe nodded. He was just as confused as Daniel.

“Which mercenary organization?” Daniel asked curiously. There were many of them, some were globally famous and truly powerful.

“The Red Knights Organization.”

“….”

“Do they even count as a mercenary group?” Daniel frowned slightly. He had heard the name before, but he didn’t think they were actually categorized as mercenaries.

They were more like a guild than an organization.

“Even though they’re extremely famous, they’re still technically a mercenary group.”

Both went silent for a moment as the atmosphere grew quiet. Neither of them knew what to say.

“If she joined them, then I don’t think it turned out bad for her. Maybe she just likes excitement? Now that I think about it, she was always an active girl. It fits her to be a mercenary,” Daniel finally said, nodding.

“I don’t know… I still think it would’ve been better for her to stay in that guild and not join anywhere else. But anyway, it’s her life. We shouldn’t judge. So—are you coming to the gathering?” Joe said, clearly still disagreeing but not wanting to argue anymore.

“I’m kind of tempted to come. Maybe it wouldn’t be bad to see what our old friends have been up to all these years. But I can’t promise anything, it depends if I have free time or not,” Daniel replied.

Hearing that, Joe smiled and told him the date and location of the gathering. After that, they talked a bit more about what had happened during the years they hadn’t seen each other.

Joe wanted to keep talking, but his phone suddenly rang. After answering, he said he had to go, it was his father calling him.

Daniel nodded and said goodbye. After Joe left, he got into his car and headed home. His mother was sitting in front of the TV, watching her favorite series.

He greeted her casually and went straight to his room. Since he had nothing important to do for the next few days, he planned to visit the Celestial Domain.

He still had a baby dragon to check on, to make sure it was doing fine and, more importantly, hadn’t caused any trouble.

If possible, he wanted to finish all his work by tonight and then challenge the fourth floor of the Tower tomorrow or within the next three days at most.

The sooner he could reach rank S, the better, and he didn’t want to delay that any longer.

[ Do you want to enter the Celestial Domain? ]

Daniel clicked on Yes, and suddenly a light appeared from nowhere, engulfing him completely.

The next moment, when he opened his eyes, he found himself in a luxurious room. Looking around, he confirmed it was the same inn room he had rented before leaving the Celestial Domain.

“Finn? Where is he?” He looked around but didn’t see the little dragon anywhere. A strange, uneasy feeling hit him, and he frowned.

Could it be that Finn somehow escaped from here? Or worse, someone found and kidnapped him?

He quickly searched the entire room. Since it was a full suite, it was quite large, but with his spiritual senses, it only took him a moment to scan the whole place.

Yet there was still no sign of Finn.

His frown deepened. He decided to go downstairs and ask the innkeeper directly, or even read his mind if necessary.

But before he could leave, something huge suddenly fell from above, slamming him down onto the floor.

“Finn?” As he came to his senses, he realized a massive creature was lying on top of him, and something was licking his face.

With a second glance, he finally recognized it, it was his little dragon! Although, it didn’t look that little anymore.

On the contrary, it was at least twice his size now. Its wings had grown even larger, and the aura radiating from it was far heavier and more overwhelming.

Even Daniel shuddered upon feeling that aura.

At the very least, it was at the level of rank S, if not higher.

The little dragon, excited to hear its name from its master’s mouth, started licking his face even more energetically.

It had been alone in that small place for a long time, and it was starting to go crazy. It even wanted to destroy everything, but didn’t, out of fear that its father might get angry.

Now its father had finally returned, and it didn’t have to stay alone anymore, it could be with its father again.

It just hoped that its father wouldn’t leave alone again.

“I was only gone for a few weeks… how did you grow twice my size?” Daniel hugged it tightly and asked in disbelief and suprise
