Chapter 574: Meeting Diana
All of them were sitting around the table having dinner. Daniel didn’t say a word the entire time, though his gaze occasionally fell on Diana.

He had already figured out the situation, and it wasn’t hard for him to realize that even this so-called friend of his mother was probably just getting close to her to gather information, or something similar.

Still, he decided not to say anything, at least for now, choosing silence. Though honestly, it was mostly because he couldn’t see through the power level of that woman, Diana’s older sister and his mother’s friend.

Whenever he tried to read her strength, it felt like staring into an endless abyss, and that alone made him frown.

Even when facing an S-Rank Awakened, he had never felt something like that. It meant that this woman was definitely beyond S-Rank. In his current state, it would be pure stupidity to pick a fight with someone like her.

Besides, he didn’t sense any malice or hostility from her. And considering the letter he had received and read from Diana earlier, he had no reason to be worried.

“Anyway, this must be your son, right? You always spoke so highly of him, but now that I see him in person, I have to say, he’s quite handsome,” said Arvenia, Diana’s older sister, glancing at Daniel with a smile.

Liana nodded, and they started talking about all kinds of things, mostly topics that were clearly woman-related. Before long, Alice and Tiana joined in too.

After finishing his meal, Daniel stood up and moved to one of the couches, sitting down quietly. He had no idea what they were talking about and preferred not to get involved.

Not long after he sat down, someone else stood up and walked toward him, it was, of course, Diana.

“How was the third floor’s conquest?” she asked curiously, sitting beside him.

“It was interesting. But can I ask, why did you decide to get close to my family?” Daniel replied lazily, then looked at her with cold eyes.

He was certain that both this girl and her master knew how sensitive he was about his mother and sisters, and how much he hated the idea of putting them in danger.

Considering the number of enemies his father had, he didn’t think it was a good idea for these two and their master to approach his family.

“Don’t worry. My master just wanted to make sure your family would be protected while you were gone, so she sent my elder sister here,” Diana explained, noticing Daniel’s irritation and choosing her words carefully.

“Just make sure your actions don’t put them in more danger,” Daniel said after a moment of thought, then decided to drop the subject.

This girl’s older sister was truly powerful. As long as she was guarding his family, they wouldn’t be in danger, unless a Demi-God personally appeared.

“Anyway, are you coming with us to meet my master, or do you still have things to do?” Diana asked, changing the topic.

“I still need to conquer the fourth floor. I’m not going anywhere with you until I reach Rank S.”

“That’s going to take a while. Wouldn’t it be better to just come now? Wouldn’t that be much easier?”

“No. I’ll only come when I’m sure that no matter what happens, I can handle it with my own power.” Daniel shook his head firmly.

The Central Continent was a dangerous place, and he also had to stay alert for possible attacks from his father’s enemies. In his current condition, he could barely match an S-Rank Awakened, let alone national-level Awakened or even Heavenly Kings.

Still, it wouldn’t take long. He was certain that after conquering the fourth floor, he would reach Rank S, and by then, he’d probably even be able to fight national-rank Awakened.

With the help of [Self-Transcendence], he might even be able to defeat the Heavenly Kings, and with [Fallen Will], he’d be nearly unbeatable… probably.

“Then hurry up, because I’m really sick of staying in this country. Everything here is so boring,” Diana complained, though she knew she couldn’t force this man to do anything.

“Bored? Why?” Daniel asked sarcastically.

“I have no rivals… except you. And since you refuse to fight me, everything feels dull. Once you come to the Central Continent, you’ll see how much better it is there. For geniuses like us, that place is basically heaven.”

“If you’re that bored, go find James and beat him up. I’m sure you’ll enjoy that,” Daniel said casually.

“James? The heir of the Goblin Guild?” Diana raised an eyebrow.

“That’s right.” Daniel nodded. Diana looked like she wanted to ask more questions, but before she could, Arvenia called out to her.

“It’s time to go,” Diana said, glancing at Daniel as if she was secretly passing him a message.

Daniel understood what she meant and nodded. He stood up as his mother and sisters began saying their goodbyes to the two women.

“It was nice meeting all of you. I wish I could stay longer, but there are things I need to take care of,” Arvenia said with a gentle smile.

“You’re welcome anytime. Consider this place your own home,” Liana said warmly.

“Auntie, make sure you come again! I had so much fun,” Alice said happily. Even though they hadn’t stayed long, she genuinely enjoyed talking with Arvenia.

Tiana felt the same way and also invited them to visit again in the future.

After saying their farewells, Arvenia and Diana left.

After they left, Liana and the two girls began asking Daniel various questions, mainly whether he knew them or not, since they could clearly see that he seemed quite familiar with Diana.

He simply replied that the girl named Diana was the current number one genius in the country.

All three women were confused and surprised. They had felt that Diana looked somewhat familiar, but realizing she was actually that famous Diana left them stunned.

Daniel then took the opportunity to say goodnight.

Once he was certain his mother and sisters wouldn’t notice, he disappeared from his spot, reappearing a moment later high in the sky, right in front of the two women.

“It’s an honor to meet you, young master,” Arvenia said respectfully when she saw Daniel.
