Chapter 566: Princesses of Moon and Sun
After leaving the Tower, Daniel went straight home. Even though he had planned to challenge the fourth floor right after, he first needed to rest a bit and check on his family and the guild’s situation.

He also couldn’t forget about the little dragon, Finn. He was worried the tiny creature might have done something stupid while he was gone, maybe got hungry and left the place Daniel had told him to stay.

So before challenging the fourth floor, he needed to take care of all these things first.

When he exited the Tower, it was already afternoon. The sun hadn’t set yet, and the sky was still bright.

When he returned home, he was naturally greeted by his sisters and mothers, luckily, all of them were home.

“This was the longest you’ve ever stayed inside the Tower,” Alice said lazily, sitting on the couch across from him.

“It was harder than before,” Daniel nodded. This time he couldn’t just brute-force everything; he had to plan and strategize.

And in the end, he had faced a god, naturally, that took quite some time.

“How was the third floor? Tell us a bit about your adventures.” Alice’s eyes lit up. From his tone, she could already tell he had gone through something exciting.

Tiana, who was sitting next to her, also nodded. Curiosity was clear in her eyes too. She wanted to know what the Tower’s floors really looked like.

Even though they had heard many stories, there was always more to learn, especially since they would soon be old enough to enter the Tower themselves. The more they knew, the better.

Daniel smiled and began telling them about some of the things that had happened, mostly about the cursed sea, the living mist, and the mountain range.

He had to censor the part about the Red Temple, especially the part involving the god. First, he didn’t want to reveal that he had become the heir of a god just yet. And second, it was too dangerous.

While the gods had limited influence inside the Tower and couldn’t directly watch what happened there, they had no such restrictions outside.

He was sure that right now, quite a few of them were keeping an eye on him. He couldn’t risk letting them notice anything.

“The third floor is really that dangerous?” Alice raised an eyebrow in surprise.

She had never heard that the third floor was so hard. Even her instructor had said that the Tower only became seriously dangerous from the fifth or sixth floor onward.

Sure, the first floor could be tough since it’s the first time Awakened enter the Tower, but the second through fourth floors shouldn’t be that bad.

Yet from what Daniel described, it sounded terrifying.

“If it’s really like that, we might not stand a chance,” Tiana swallowed nervously.

“Don’t worry,” Daniel chuckled at their reactions.

“The third floor’s difficulty level was set to ‘Hell’ for me. It’s unlikely to be the same for you.”

Both of them relaxed a little after hearing that. They already knew about the different difficulty settings, they could only hope they wouldn’t face something like his version.

“Anyway, tell me, nothing bad happened while I was gone, right?” Daniel turned his gaze toward both of them.

Their mother, Liana, was in the kitchen at the moment, preparing a cake for them.

“Well, nothing really happened,” Alice said after a short pause. “We mostly spent time at the guild and kept training.”

“Though,” she continued after thinking for a second, “while you were away, we joined a few more tournaments for our age group, and now we’ve gotten pretty famous! They’re even calling us the ‘Princesses of Moon and Sun!'”

“Oh? Who gave you such a ridiculous title?” Daniel smirked.

“Hey! It’s not ridiculous! It’s actually pretty good,” Alice snapped, pinching her brother’s arm playfully.

“I agree, it’s a great title,” Tiana added with a small purr-like chuckle, though her face turned a little red from embarrassment.

“Alright, alright. But how did you even get that title?” Daniel asked, shrugging.

“Well, I got called the Princess of Moon because I’m ‘cold and emotionless like the night,’ and Tiana got called the Princess of Sun because she’s ‘calm and gentle like the day,'” Alice said, her tone a bit dark.

Even though she liked the title, she wasn’t fond of being called cold and ruthless.

Just because she broke her opponents’ bones and beat them like she had a blood feud didn’t mean she was emotionless, right?

She actually thought of herself as quite gentle, calm, and kind lady, those idiots just didn’t deserve it.

When she noticed the mocking grin forming on her brother’s face, she suddenly felt the urge to punch him. But knowing she didn’t stand a chance, she sighed and let it go.

“Now that I think about it, those titles aren’t too bad,” Daniel said with a smile.

“Anyway, how’s your training going? You haven’t been slacking off, have you?”

“Slacking? Of course not! We’ve been training every day. Especially Tiana, she’s gotten really skilled with magic,” Alice said proudly.

“Really? You’ll have to show me later,” Daniel said, looking at Tiana.

“Anytime you want,” both Tiana and Alice replied at the same time.

Then they talked for a while about what had happened while he was away. Apparently, their mother, Liana, had made a new friend, a woman who occasionally came to visit their home.

While they were glad their mother had made a friend, they both felt uneasy about that woman. There was something off about her, she seemed powerful but was clearly hiding it.

Hearing that, Daniel frowned, wondering if it might be connected to Diana. He’d have to look into that later.

Aside from that, nothing dangerous had happened. Everything had been relatively peaceful.

Then he asked about the status of the Everlight Moon guild.

“As for the Everlight Moon guild, nothing serious happened. But apparently, there’s been some conflict with the Goblin guild, especially online. They even called your guild traitors to the country and claimed you were working with terrorists to start a rebellion.” Alice said after thinking for a bit, ”
