Chapter 561: Battle Between Gods
The Buried God stood there, frowning, staring at the young white-haired man who faced him with complete indifference. Now, he was radiating that same transcendent and divine aura, one that only a god could possess.

And even for the Buried God himself, his divine presence was far inferior to the overwhelming aura now emanating from Daniel. It wasn’t just the aura, even his temperament had changed into something beyond the boundaries of the world.

This was not something a human could possess, and it didn’t take long for the Buried God to realize what had happened, something he had never expected.

“Who would’ve thought we’d meet again after all this time,” he sighed, speaking in a tone filled with nostalgia.

“I didn’t expect you to still be alive,” Daniel said coldly and regally, his eyes staring at him with pure indifference, as if he were looking at an insect.

“I barely survived. That war affected every realm… it nearly destroyed everything.” The Buried God shook his head.

To him, the fact that he was even still alive was a miracle.

“You’re lucky to have survived,” Daniel said, his tone turning sharper. “But you dared to try to kill this boy. Do you really have such a strong desire to die?”

“I didn’t know he was related to you. If I had known, I would’ve been gentler.”

“Then let’s see if you still have what it takes.”

Daniel, or whoever was now speaking through him, let out a cold growl. His sword appeared once again in his hand.

He looked at it and slightly shook his head. It wasn’t as good as his old weapon, but it was still decent, good enough to beat up an old friend a little.

In an instant, the world trembled.

Light inverted.

Laws lost their meaning.

The Buried God made the first move, launching a wave of buried light,

but Daniel, or rather, the Fallen God, caught it with one hand, crushed it, and sent it back as a spear of darkness.

The explosion erased half the sky.

“How… how can you break my law?!” the Buried God growled. It wasn’t the first time this had happened.

“Because I’m stronger.”

“What kind of stupid answer is that?!”

The Fallen God shrugged. He stepped forward, each step tearing cracks through space itself.

In a single instant, in the time between two heartbeats, he appeared before the Buried God and struck.

The blow was like a mountain smashing into the sun. The Buried God’s golden light shattered, sending him flying for kilometers. Everywhere his body touched, light vanished.

But the Buried God was still a god. From his wounds, thousands of divine flames burst out. With a roar, he turned the ground beneath them into a world of light and shouted,

“So, they call you the Fallen God now?”

“I got tired of the old name,” the Fallen God laughed.

He slowly raised his sword, a blade that now glowed like the heart of midnight.

With every swing, the stars themselves strayed from their paths.

In a moment, the two forces collided. Light and darkness, collapse and ascension. Every clash made the heavens tremble and space fracture.

The Fallen God began to push him back. His movements grew faster, sharper, filled with fury.

Each strike didn’t just cut the body, it sliced through “concepts” themselves.

The Buried God roared, unleashing waves of golden rays.

The Fallen God raised his hand, letting the rays hit him, but what emerged from the light was a burning shadow.

He set himself ablaze and walked straight through the light.

In an instant, he appeared behind the Buried God, placed a hand on his shoulder, and said,

“Your light has grown weaker since last time.”

Then he slammed him down from the sky to the ground. The impact was so powerful that half the clouds turned to ash.

The lights vanished. The Buried God tried to rise, but his body trembled violently. Divine blood poured from his mouth.

The Fallen God descended from the sky, his eyes glowing with divine brilliance.

Around him, rings of time spun, formed by the Law of the Moon.

“When was the last time we fought? Seems like we’ve both gotten weaker,” he laughed.

“Shut up,” the Buried God growled. Weak? Maybe. Both of them were far weaker now, barely a fraction of what they once were.

But that bastard was clearly mocking him.

The sky lit up again, but this time not with light, with the fire of death.

The Fallen God raised his sword, and from it emerged crimson flames that nothing could extinguish.

With the next strike, the Buried God screamed again, but this time, it was a human scream.

The ground cracked.

The sky split.

And with each passing moment, the Fallen God’s dominance became absolute.

“You bastard, I won’t let you win this time!” the Buried God roared.

With that roar, the ground shone.

Deep beneath, the power of faith began to tremble. The immense energy hidden there surged upward, flowing straight into him.

His body started absorbing it all, and his strength grew rapidly. His wounds healed in seconds.

The Fallen God stood there, watching indifferently. He didn’t interfere or try to stop it.

He wasn’t worried, not even slightly. He had absolute faith in his own power. No one could defeat him.

Soon, the Buried God absorbed all that divine faith, his power multiplying several times over.

At the same time, he reached out his hand, and a massive arm of light stretched deep into the ground, grabbing a golden heart and pulling it toward him.

“I didn’t want to absorb it this way,” he said coldly, “but I have no choice.”

He forced the heart into his body. The pain was unbearable, it ripped through his being, but along with it came an immense flood of power.

Unfortunately, this method also caused him to lose a tremendous amount of power he could have gained.

But he had no other choice.

“Sorry for making you wait,” he exhaled with a grin. “Shall we continue?”
