Chapter 2079: Let the World Knows (8)
Tang Shaoyang held a man’s neck, putting him in the air. A few black roots were piercing the man’s back, and white branches on his arms and thighs. He finally found out what those white trees did.

He could not get a clear detail since there was no way his enemy would tell him what the white branches did. But it had a clear effect; whoever was pierced by it would be weakened. It was hard to tell at first, but he could feel it over time.

That was the reason why the man in his hand could not struggle. The man was gripping his right hand tightly, trying to break free, but it was like a child trying to escape an adult’s grasp.

“This will not end with us! You will also pay the price for attacking us! The Ten Stars Accord will not stay still when one of them is attacked by a ruffian like you!” The man screamed at the top of his lungs.

He was the last Elder. At least he thought so after witnessing the devastating battle. It was not a one-sided war, but they were being overwhelmed from the start despite having an advantage in numbers.

Arton was still in a state of disbelief that the Shadow Star would crumble under their reign. He thought this would not happen, especially when the Ten Stars Accord kept growing. They might garner more enemies than they should in this period, but none of their enemies dared to make the first move against them.

That was when they thought they were thinking untouchable, like the Ancient Kingdom and the guardian factions. That was why, while no one supported Geralt in taking the request to assassinate the Executive Administrator, no one tried to stop Geralt as well.

They didn’t think the newcomer was a mad dog who was willing to risk a Realm War. Of course, they dismissed the new Executive Administrator’s threat as well because he recently got to the God Rank. A new figure with no allies in the God Realm.

Tang Shaoyang let out a chuckle as he heard the pathetic attempt to save his life, “Should I be grateful for your reminder?”

At this moment, the sky split open, and the space was torn up. Tang Shaoyang witnessed a similar phenomenon a few times already, no longer surprised. The first meeting with God Rank from the Nirvana Alliance. They came in a similar fashion into the Dimensional Tower.

Then, the first time he met with a group of Administrators, because a God Rank from Aqura summoned a calamity. They came in a similar fashion as well. Arion and Clementine, who came to mediate his conflict with the Hurakan Kingdom. The Emperor from the Void Cult during his mission.

It was to his expectation that the Ten Stars Accord might be able to break Zara’s seal, but he was surprised to see the familiar faces. He recognized all his fellow Executive Administrators, along with the people he didn’t recognize. With a single glance, he could tell those people were from the Ten Stars Accord.

This annoyed him that his fellow Executive Administrators still could not accept him. That was understandable, but the worst part was that they brought his enemy to him. Out of his annoyance, he crushed the man’s neck in his hand. Then he stored the body right away, looking up at his new guest.

His spirits seemed to sense his annoyance, then they finally sensed the portal above them. They stopped chasing after the fleeing assassins and slowly regrouped with their master. They didn’t get back to their master’s side, observing the situation from a distance instead.

“I did expect them to come here, but I didn’t expect you guys to bring them here to me!”

His deep, emotionless voice echoed, looking up at Arion and Clementine.

“Nay… Nay… We are here not to deliver, but—”

Arion didn’t finish his words as three figures dashed out from the portal, coming down at extreme speed. The one who came down was the leader of the Serpent Star, Isidrus Vataze, and his two attendants.

Boom!

He landed not far, in front of Tang Shaoyang, “You are going to pay the price—”

Before he finished his sentence, he sensed danger from behind. He turned around, and so did his subordinates. Six different-looking skeletons that radiated ominous energy came after his subordinate to his left. Then five knights came for his subordinate to his right.

Isidrus thought of helping his subordinates until a massive shadow loomed over him. A red-skinned monster was right above him, swinging his fist at him. He subconsciously raised both of his arms and crossed them as he received the punch with confidence.

Boom!

Isidrus’s eyes widened as he received the impact. He felt like he was about to get crushed by a mountain. The force behind the punch spread into his whole body. He felt it; his organs were shaken, his vision blurred for a moment.

At the same time, his feet sank deep into the ground as the ground cracked before falling apart. Then he tasted the iron-sweet in his mouth, the taste of his own blood. Then his blood came out from the corner of his lips. That single fist gave him an internal injury.

“You are strong! You are the strongest I have fought so far!”

He heard the monster speaking to him, and he finally got a clear look at who attacked him. It was a red-skinned Orc, the first kind he ever met. He regarded this one as a monster, but this single punch taught him that this monster was much stronger than most monsters he had encountered.

Isidrus quickly realized that he must go all out from the start. It was a mistake that he came down without activating his Bloodline Transformation.

“There’s no time to play around, Karan! We have to kill him!”

Isidrus was midway through his bloodline transformation when he heard a pleasant voice that came from next to him. He subconsciously turned his head and found a beautiful woman in a blue-ashed dress next to him, right next to him, and he could not sense her until she spoke.

Before he could finish his bloodline transformation, he felt the chilling temperature from inside his own body. That was when he realized that his feet were frozen, and it quickly spread to his upper body.

The red-skinned Orc backed down, releasing him from the massive pressure. But before he could fully activate his bloodline transformation, his body was frozen. That canceled his skill, and again, he was surprised that he could feel coldness. His attributes were so high that the change of temperature really didn’t affect him, but not this one.
