Armipotent - Chapter 2077
Chapter 2077: Ten Stars Accord (2)
Clementine listened to Baba about Tang Shaoyang’s plan. She finally understood why Baba said that this plan could lead to another Realm War. It was possible, Baba was being over dramatic.
Tang Shaoyang was aware that if he put the Shadow Star’s main base, the Shadow Star’s main world. The Ten Stars Accord would not stay still. He was aware of that, so he was already prepared before attacking. He commanded his subordinates in Team Red to spread the information to the Ten Stars Accord’s enemies.
The information was that the Ten Stars Accord would move its forces to help the Shadow Star. The information was not detailed on which force would move. However, the Ten Stars Accord’s enemies would not let such a chance slip if that truly happened.
In her eyes, the plan was too naive. She still thought that Tang Shaoyang and his force were not strong enough to pull the Ten Stars Accord’s main force. The Realm War that Baba fussed about would not happen. It was possible, but the chance was small. Even if the Hurakan Kingdom was involved, this would not reach the scale of the Realm War.
“You are being dramatic again, Baba. I don’t see this issue escalating to the Realm War you are scared of. There’s a small chance, but I don’t see it happening.” Clementine clicked her tongue.
“Let’s say it will cause a Realm War, then what are we supposed to do? Let me hear your solution?”
Baba could tell that Clementine seemed to be pissed at him. He didn’t really like the way she talked to him. It was as if she were talking to her subordinate while they were both Executive Administrators.
“Of course, we should stop him. We can’t let an Executive Administrator cause chaos in the realm,” He responded, as it was the natural solution, the most logical solution.
“Executive Administrator causes chaos? Didn’t you hear what the Shadow Star said in the Starter City? This is between the Tang Empire and them. It has nothing to do with us, administrators. Does he abuse his authority as Executive Administrator, using our facility for his personal matters?”
Baba furrowed his brow, rethinking it again with a new perspective. He could not refute Clementine at all. She was right. The Administrator could not meddle in the realm’s affairs unless it was related to the void. If the Void was not involved, or they were not attacked, they could not meddle in the war between factions.
“Tch!”
Clementine clicked her tongue again, even louder this time, when Baba could not give her a reasonable reason to interfere, “So what? Your plan is to come to this Ten Stars Accord and bow our heads and solve their problem for them? The problem they created?”
“We can interfere, but they must pay for what they tried to do. They tried to assassinate a new Executive Administrator. Should we send a complaint too? No! We should ask for an explanation and compensation if they want us to interfere!”
Again, Baba could not refute Clementine. If it becomes Administrator and Ten Stars Accord, they should ask for an explanation as well for their attempt on Tang Shaoyang. This would become much bigger than before.
“Whoa… Whoa… Whoa…” Arion clapped, “Let’s do that then. It will be more fun. The realm becomes too dull with this peace. Those people must be ready as well for the Void Cult, after all.”
The Void Cult was about to do something, but they delayed that plan because Tang Shaoyang killed one of their emperors. The Void Cult ceased their movement, completely stopped. They could not track any Void Cult’s movement. It was not a good thing as it meant they might prepare something bigger than before.
“You said it yourself that the Void Cult will take this chance to increase their numbers and spread their influence further. We can’t let that happen, especially when we don’t know what they planned with their newly created portable gate.”
Clementine stood up from her couch, “Since they sent a complaint, shouldn’t we meet them to address the issue first? We will handle it based on their stand on the matter.”
Baba was surprised that this was going in the direction he wanted. He didn’t want the Realm War for sure, but he thought Clementine would not take any action based on her first reaction to the matter. As he was about to leave with her, he remembered the war was still happening while they were talking.
“Wait! What about Tang Shaoyang? Shouldn’t we stop him first?”
He hoped for Arion and Clementine to step in, persuading Tang Shaoyang to stop this stupid war against the Shadow Star. That was the reason why he agreed with Arion to come to meet Clementine.
Clementine halted her steps and turned her head toward him, “How are you going to stop him? You have seen it yourself that nothing we will say could stop him.”
Baba recalled his meeting with Tang Shaoyang. He really didn’t have many interactions with the guy, but Tang Shaoyang was not that angry when he and the other Executive Administrators looked down on him. That happened in their first meeting to fulfill the duty to guard the Void Gate.
He let out a sigh and followed Clementine and Arion. At the same time, he informed the other Executive Administrators as well.
*** ***
The Ten Stars Accord was composed of ten factions. Those ten stars represented ten factions. The Blood Star, The Serpent Star, and The Silver Star were the three famed mercenary factions in the God Realm.
The Shadow Star, who did the assassination work for them, also received a request from an outside alliance. The Golden Star was famed for its information gathering with a lot of clients outside its alliance. They had all kinds of information that the other factions didn’t have. Their operation range was extensive, one of the top factions if you want to find what happened at the other side of the realm.
The Beast Star, which was known as the Nadesia Dynasty, was a renowned beastmen kingdom. The Red Star, The Forsaken Star, The Black Star, and the Blue Star.
All those factions changed their names when they created the Ten Stars Accord. They thrived ever since, and their names compared to the likes of the Ancient Kingdom and other top powerhouses.
Baba arrived at the meeting place with Arion and Clementine. Nine figures were waiting for them with their attendant. Those nine figures were the leaders of the nine factions. The only one who was missing was the leader of the Shadow Star.
He was surprised the nine leaders would be attending the meeting. He expected three, five at most, not all nine of them.
Clementine didn’t acknowledge or greet them as she took the seat across the nine figures, “Let’s make it quick, gentlemen. I heard you have a complaint, let me hear it and maybe we can reach a harmonious solution… if your complaint is truly valid and under the Administrator’s jurisdiction.”
Baba could feel the tension rising with that last part. He felt like it was unnecessary provocation. Here, he was hoping to wrap this quickly, but it seemed like it would not be that easy. He took a seat to Clementine’s right, and Arion took a seat to Clementine’s left. This signified who would lead the meeting from the Administrator’s side.
