Bai Meiyue rolled her eyes. She turned to look at the man who was flatteringly smiling at her and said to him, “And what about Fu Wan? You told me that as long as she is done giving birth, you will take her away, but it has been more than one month, and I haven’t seen you taking her away.”

With how shameless Fox was, Bai Meiyue knew that there was no point in talking with him. She didn’t want to bother with him anymore. “The young master of the Bai family will be arriving here in a few days. And he knows how scheming that woman is, given how she conceived his child; since that is the case, he will not believe her nonsense. In fact, he is not even coming here for that woman. If not for Old Master Bai calling him, he would have dragged this visit a bit longer.”
